I don't know that I'd consider that all that ultra rare. I've got a "green disc" of BlazBlue Calamity Trigger. It doesn't even tell you what it is or who it belongs to. Just says Microsoft Confidential on it.

Hm. Have the standard edition of Cursed Mountain. If I can find other things I want from Amazon to put it to free shipping while this one's still available, I'd consider grabbing the LE at this price.

It's a decent game that had so much potential, but ultimately ended up falling short.

I spent maybe about 8 hours to finish the game and by the end of it, I was a bit disappointed not only with the ending, but by how repetitive things got.

The game will provide a good amount of scares for about the first couple of hours, but after that, you kind of know what to expect.


Overall, a decent game that plays like a slower and lower budgeted version of Resident Evil 4.

A few months back gamestop clearanced them out. Unfortunatly the way they clearance them was to drop the CE price and sku to that of the regular copy of Fallout 3, 19.99.

This means you can't search online and you can't have them check other stores for it. Your best bet is to go to a gamestop that has been around a while and check it out. I've found one and a friend of mine found one 3 weeks ago.

Also the sticker might say a different price (mine said 39.99) but this is not the correct price. It will scan correctly.

It's more like a test/review build of the game before the game is actually pressed for retail release. A friend of mine sent me it because he doesn't have an xbox and he came across it.

Bingo, I'll save him and keep an eye on it. $3.99 doesn't bother me too much. The steelbook looks nice to me. I checked out some gameplay vids and it seems different.

I went to this BB (since it's 5 minutes from my house) to check how much they rang up. $150. The sign said $80.

Don't know what happened.
 
I bought one used from gohastings last week, I think the price after shipping and taxes was around $13. Its kinda a crapshoot ordering through them though, the slip cover was really torn up and it didnt come with the disk with the 4 episodes of the anime, however, the steelbook was in pretty good shape.

My girlfriend ordered a limited edition of gears of war 2 from them and it came in pristine condition. Its a bit of a gamble but they have alot of collectors editions for pretty cheap. I just bought the lost planet CE and the prey CE for $5 and $7 respectively. When they get in I will let you know what sort of shape they are in if anyone is interested.

hm...I will have to check this out...I just ordered a CE guide from them a few days ago...we'll see how that goes as well. I wonder how their return policy lines up.
 
Not really all that great of a deal but I saw a PS3 copy of the steelbook Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 special edition at a local Target on their red tag clearance rack. It was 55 something though, still way too much for me to bite. I don't know if all Targets are clearing these out or if it was YMMV.

I picked up dmc 4 ce for 30 at walmart about two years ago. I wish it was the ps3 version on sale though.
 
I saw a couple of copies of Call of Duty Black Ops: Prestige Edition for PS3 at Target today for $104. That's not exactly what I'd call cheap (especially for a game and a remote control car), but hey, that means it's price dropping on down.

I've also found used copies of Halo 2 CE and Oblivion CE at Half Price Books on the cheap. Just because they're special editions doesn't mean people won't resell them. :D

I bought the Fable 3 LE from them a few months back for $30 and it came in perfect condition minus the DLC codes but I wasn't really expecting to get those anyways.

Sony packaged them with my KZ3 review copy. Limited edition according to the bag too. Mine is 422/500. I have no real use for them, but no real awareness of their value either. Shoot me a PM if you're interested, they're just sitting in the bag on my desk.

I picked up the metal gear limited. 29.99 It is bigger than I thought. I think the my biggest psp one to date. The size usis due to the art book I had to call around and a gentle,man was kind enough to check his locatedr and called a store that had 1 in.

Remember seeing a couple of alan wake CEs at a bestbuy near me a few days ago. Anyone know if they actually ring up at MSRP like the sign in front says or if they are on discount? I only ask since the game has been out for so long and wouldn't mind picking up it as a reasonable price.

Will gladly take over original post if need be because this thread is right up my alley. So we can have updated front page notes. In fact found Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivian CE at Wal-Mart for $15. Very YMMV, I'm sure but a good price none the less.

I haven't seen this posted yet, BB dropped their Warcraft 3 Battle Chest to $19.99 from $39.99. It's still one drop away for my taste, but if someone is interested, I also saw it for that same price at GS yesterday.
