Not sure if it's worth it or not, but the ebgames by my house has the steel book copy of FF X11.(2 disk) It was 9.99 used. I'm tempted to go back and get it.

i just ordered some ce's from them but on my invoice it doesn't actually say that it is a CE - it only shows the picture of it...is this normal for gohastings?

I bought mine that way last month. My understanding is it's not that rare, but the copy I found was near mint, so why not? :) Most steelbooks that make it to Gamestop are either scratched/dinged to hell or shitted up with stickers.

That was exactly how my dmc4 looked. It is how my prey and lost planet look too but I have not received those yet.

the resident evil 5 i bought from them was just the steel case, my dead rising 2 came complete with all the goodies, so i say your correct its a crapshoot

I doubt this thread would be kept up on any other website as many of the 'deals' are for old games and aren't that sought after.

Good deal, I've never found a single deal at Wal Mart. I always browse their games section when I get my oil changed there. Everything is almost always priced at or near retail with the obligatory -$10 title here and there. I snagged the Bioshock 2 CE from Gamestop for $29, still a good deal :). Was their last one.
 
I should of picked up the Bioshock 2 at Walmart for 30 bucks. They had both xbox and ps3 now they only have the ps3 and the box was damaged as hell.

I was able to get Jericho Collector's edition at gamestop for $9.99, it was factory sealed.

From Gamestop? don't Gamestop have those machines that can seal items?
I heard they had it a few years ago. U do know that they let the associates rent games for 4 days? I don't trust the whole "new" vs "used" since the new games are not considered new. Still, a good price for the game.

Not unless it put on a fresh green xbox seal as well. It was factory sealed. It even had the xbox seal on it un tampered with. I know they can re shrink wrap games, but they can't produce new xbox seals that are on the games.

Yeah I saw one like that at Best Buy when they put them on clearance. Looks like someone had picked it up and it totally slid out of their hand as the outer sleeve was torn all up, nearly in half. The one I got from Gamestop was perfect in the front but had a small, 1" tear on the back in the center top. I figured that was about as good as I would find so I snagged it. It's actually a really, really good CE. Lots of cool stuff unlike some other CE's.

Calamity Trigger is the only one with a CE, Continuum Shift only came in a $40 Regular Edition like SSFIV
 
I am not sure if this was posted earlier, but I picked up COD World at War CE for Xbox 360 in WalMart for $29.99
 
I just picked up a ps3 Street Fighter 4 Arcade Fightstick for under $40 at Ultimate Electronics going out of business sale in Albany, NY. They had a 360 one and one TE stick (under $90) there as well.

I'm just curious to know if you guys ever open the CEs that you buy. I find it hard to open them when I find them cheap and I'm sort of a collector. Some people call me crazy but to me it makes sense. For example, I bought the bioshock 2 CE (29.99) and the regular version (9.99) for less than what people paid for the new version when it first came out (59.99). I even still have that big a$$ Halo reach LE sitting in my closet that I got when amazon had their sale last week. By the time I have time to play it, I could probably just buy the regular version of Reach for less the $20 and keep this one sealed.
