Please give me some ideas as I have tons of money to burn. Preferrably games under $30 that you kids play online. Thanks.

I'd say Phantom Dust, but I doubt anyone besides me actually plays it.
I'd actually like to see this list, as I figure if a game costs 10, I've gotten my money's worth out of it if I play for a couple of hours... if people actually would play it on Live, then it's an even better deal.

Phantom Dust is great. I got rid of XBL again though.

Lina, I recommend you just play 'hide and go fuck yourself'

Guess I should dust it off and start playing it, then.

Kayden, I recommend you play "stop threadcrapping".

Shrike, is that made by the same people as "STFU" and "Don't make an ass of yourself?"?

1- Yea, its great.

2- To quote some old rambling bastard ":roll::roll:" Like anyone would take her seriously with the subject calling every cag a loser.

i recommend her to play "take a screwdriver to her fucking temple"

I think (hope) she's being sarcastic. But whatever.

I too have PD but haven't played it on Live yet. I still have to beat story mode first.

I still don't get the hatred.
I mean, I get zeone's point, even if I may not have agreed with some of his methods.

No, she's seriously that much of a smack tard. She'll insult everyone. She'll act clueless/innocent when called on it. She'll bitch about being ignored when she doesn't get any reaction. She draws attention to her supposed female attributes at any and all opportunities. Shes just a glorified troll. How people tollerate her, but hated DDF, I'll never understand. At least he was honestly an asshole. Shes just a cunt in denial.

You just seem to always have a mad-on when it comes to her.
hate is a strong word...all i did was recommend a nice little game i thought she might enjoy...i'm not sure exactly what you mean by "mad-on" because that might be the gayest term i've ever heard of, but suppose i do hate her...though i don't, i just strongly dislike her, not that i care much...what makes you think its okay for zew, kayden & others to dislike her, but not me? i've had arguements with her before and every time i have, you've butted in...so you more than anyone should understand why i dislike her

I'll have to get PD since you've sacrificed yourself for me in Topspin. :p That's if I can find it.
i wanna play live with her
maybe convince her to come chill in my hottub

crimson skies
phantom dust
mechassualt 2
You know she was called out on NOT being the hot chick she said she was and she admitted to just being an ugly chick. I think its a dude though.

crimson skies, the earlier games from rainbow 6, splinter cell series, cokers I saw in the deal forum for $20, burnout 3 is cheap

I never admitted to being ugly. Sheesh.

I've had Burnout 3 for a while. It's very difficult to play online because n00bs constantly get booted out, and the ones that don't are usually rude kids.

Plus, Revenge will be out of my birthday, ending B3.

Rallisport Challenge 2 is fun if you like racers. As is Forza.

Unreal Championship 2 can be had for under $30 (if not less now).

I agree with Crimson Skies as well.

*Guilty Gear X2 #Reload
*Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike
*Mortal Kombat: Deception (Puzzle Kombat, bitches)
Crimson Skies (I've yet to even play this...)
*Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf (Pretty shitty)
*Godzilla: Save the Earth
Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO (Inept)
*Unreal Championship 2
*Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Those are all of the cheap Live titles I have. The ones with asterisks near them are the ones that, in my factual opinion, are fun.

Live games I own:

Topspin (only one with huge community)
Outlaw Tennis (virtually dead already :()
Madden 2005
NCAA Football 2005
Links 2004 (still some people)
Tiger Woods 2005 (lots of people... but absolutely no fun online since scores are ridiculously easy)
Burnout 3
World Championship Poker
NHL 2k5
NHL 2k6 (get it tonight, maybe)
Sega GT/JSRF (I'm not sure if it can go on Live)

That's it, I think.

Sega GT/JSRF can't go on Live. You have to buy Sega GT Online for Live play. Pick up R63 though or Halo 2 if you want to play with us. Of course like you said and I've said we'll be getting Burnout Revenge next week.

I don't know... I've yet to play it online. I bought it just a while ago at EB and it's just sat in the cabinet.

Chaos Theory co-op, Castle Wolfenstein is still pretty cool, Brothers in Arms,
I feel your pain though, kids and idiots sure can ruin the experience. I just try to play with friends mostly though.

I don't think revenge will kill B3 intitially.. theres still people who play Mechassault 1 for crying out loud..

Unreal Championship 2 is at Blockbuster for 24.99 I think it has better gameplay then Halo.. much much much faster and definately more challenging then losing by a sticky bomb

Phantom Dust is fun, has a hard learning curve at the start though (i believe 17.99 at EB BC)

Crimson Skies (under 9.99) I thought this game was difficult because of how the camera is. I wasn't used to playing flight games so maybe thats it. didn't like it that much but it has A LOT of free downloads from ships to maps.

Mechassault 1 and 2 - fun have plenty of downloads so when you have friends over its a good game.

Star Wars Battlefront 17.99 at EB.. definately worth your time if your into star wars even a little bit. the online battles are great and theres a free map for DL. (the Single play is very fun too)

Burnout 3 17.99 at EB.. there are a lot of oldies that play this one and don't like new players playing it. but If you want a some matches I'll host some games as I love B3 i'm ranked too.. which is pretty neat i guess.. but i don't care that much.

Amped 2 9.99 at EB.. fun.. best snowboarding game out there especially online.. although not many people still play it. Its definately a fun experience also a free mountain download doesn't hurt.

Project Gothem Racing 2 (comes with a Live kit so thats cheap if your getting into live).. I personally never played this one.. i hear its not as good as the first one...but it has a lot of downloads too.

but obviously the most popular Live games are Halo and Madden or any in season sports title (I hear NHL and NBA 2K6 are pretty fun.. and they are budget)

gamertag: Urzishra better off PMing me on here if you want to play though.

I highly suggest picking up Phantom Dust...there's almost always a good 5 or 6 rooms going, and almost everyone is really nice. Most of the conversation isn't "Zomg you fucking bitchnut", instead it's a lot of strategy talk about the game, skill combos, etc etc.....a lot like a bunch of guys sitting around playing Magic, actually.

Phantom Dust is awesome on Live. Send me a friend request to STICKY WAFFLES if anyone ever wants to play it.

I don't have that much time for live anymore, but last time a played Star Wars Battlefront (About a month ago) it was still fun, and it's a greatest hit right now.

I pre-ordered Revenge, even though I'll suck hard at it.

But, I'll still beat all of zewone's clan, and force them to leave the board with my ensuing victories.

we really liked Midtown Madness 3. Its got some really fun racing games. I havent looked lately but its an older game, should be cheap to pick up.
PD is like that Magic game? Bleh. I'm scared to play those.

Thanks for the helpful responses. :)
The thing about the game is you build a "deck" of skills that will pop up randomly during the match. You then use those skills in an action environment to kill your opponent. It's not turnbased like MTG. The game doesn't even let you build a deck until about 2 or 3 hours in, so you have more than enough time to learn the game. If nothing else, I suggest renting it.

Scared? In what way... that the structure of the game is a bit overwhelming when you don't know the rules, or that you think the inherent geekiness will rub off on you?

Phantom Dust (on Live) feels too much like a contrived mini-game, or something. That may or may not be worth $20.

I think you likely didn't put all that much effort into the multiplayer... Phantom Dust is definately one of those games where you get out of the game what you put in... and the online experience is rather underwhelming until you've unlocked all of the non-Xbox Live only skills in the single player.

I thought about buying it again, and giving it another go. I only played a dozen games on Live, and they all felt like the same Groundhog's Day match, over and over again.

I might get it soon, but I need to get Doom 3... again.

You probably got wrapped up into either a low level or high level game...

At lower levels, most people only have access to about a quarter of the the available skills, and at higher levels, people tend to start playing the exact same thing as one another... in the middle ground, you have a wider variety, and you have some people building there arsensels to really mess with other people's heads, One hit KO, or just to casually play.. unless you want to sink much time it, the middle ground is usually the best place to be.

I'd get KO'd in the literal first second of the match. A couple of the matches I played were very fast-paced, intense and even, so I can see how the game could be fun. I just wish I put more time into it.

Geekiness, somewhat... but more so that people like you have been playing forever, and know every trick in the book.
If you're a girl. No need to worry about that.

The men treat women like gods on live because there are so few of them haha.
Yeah, right.

I hear all sorts of disgusting stuff from the kids on Live.

Awesome. I look forward to losing. I suck hardcore at Burnout.
