You know, we really should have a thread like the Kmart one and just have a grand list of clearanced games. Some are being reposted while some are dropping even further. Wouldn't hurt to have a big list of clearanced games from over the months.
 
the DMC box set has the not for resale label in the back of each game, so not really a collectors thing, but still a good deal!
 
Stopped by the CC on Route 46 in NJ and had to scavenge through the bins to find (apparently) the last copy of Portable Ops. Awesome job, OP and notifiers! :)

also, all 3 original, black label DMC games have the Sony security sticker on top.
 
If you're a PC Gamer heading to CC, remember that the new Beyond the Sword expansion for Civ4 is $15 starting today as part of the new weekly ad.
 
My store still had Portable Ops in the regular games section, so be sure to look there as well if you don't find it in the dedicated clearance bins.
 
I went and got Magical Starsign and the guy tried to get me to purchase a protection plan. Freaking Circuit City....

I managed to find two copies of the DMC:AC at my Circuit City, so I picked one up, even though I already bought it half a year ago. If anyone manages to pick up an extra copy of Xenosaga III or Disgaea 2, I'd be willing to trade it for one of them. I don't have a credit card or a Paypal account, TheFreshPrince, so if you want to buy it, we'd have to either do a money order or a check or something.

Edit: My bad, I meant Xenosaga III, not Xenogears III. I make that mistake too often.

Konami. If you check the official site, they use the appreviation MPO a few times.

We all know nobodyu pays attention to those Not For Resale tags. Both Zelda: Collectors Edition and Ocarina/Master Quest on the Cube have labels that say that but yet I still see them on sale at like Gamestop.

Just picked up Lumines Plus and God Hand, and I signed up for the new Gamers Savings Club. I figure my GameStop card is expiring and this may as well take its place (and be more useful).

No clearance bin at my local CC, but I got Far Cry, MGS:pO, and Civ4: Beyond the Sword for just under $50.

DMC5A was the only other thing I went there looking for, but I didn't see it.

Of course none of the games I picked up were stickered properly. But I did see a Metal Gear Ac!d 2 for $12.68 or something (way back from the April/May clearance). Great price, but I already own the game.

Oh yeah. I'm pretty sure all the PSP games that aren't Greatest Hits and also aren't in the anti-theft cases are actually on clearance and priced for less than their stickers would suggest. Going over the older threads, most of the games that weren't in cases are listed as being on clearance.

And if anyone happens to see a copy of Monster Hunter Freedom, which was apparently on clearance awhile back, I'll pay ya $20 shipped to pick it up for me.

Checked another CC while out shopping (the one out by Independence Center for any fellow Kansas City CAGs out there). Looked like it had been picked clean. If I had been able to find any extra MPO's I was going to offer them up to my fellow CAGs that weren't able to find them but no such luck...
 
Hey, are these prices marked or do they just ring up the clearance price? I think my CC is lazy about changing price tags. I've seen greatest hits titles still with a $50 tag on them before. I really want to get the 360 Far Cry game.

Have them ring it up. My copy of MPO still had it's original sticker on it and had no mention of it being on clearance.

Hey Soriano... Why are you looking for cheap deals on this site. The Chicago Cubs are paying you an assload to play baseball. You can afford to pay full price (and you need to hit better than .250 at Wrigley Field for the kind of cash you're making!!!).;)
 
Got a DMC for myself and one for my girlfriend, then picked up Chromehounds. Anyone think we'll have luck price adjusting come next Sunday when they have another 25% off clearance games sale?

SON OF A BITCH! I went lookin for some 360 games, found nothing, but spotted that. Saw the 9.99 tag and assumed since it had been so cheap for so long it woulda been gone if the price was still the same. fuck, so it wasn't actually 9.99?

Some CCs aren't stickering them correctly, which is probably why a lot of people can still find copies.

Wait, what? Another 25% off clearance games deal has been confirmed for next week (I'm assuming Aug 12 start)? I have some receipts to adjust if that is the case (though I better make sure it isn't over 30 days by that point).
 
I had no problems adjusting my Condemned and DOAX2 a few weeks ago during the previous 25% promotion. It even states on that huge billboard above Customer Service that they will refund the lowest price that rings up, whether it be their own price or a competitors.

That would make DMC Anniversary $4 per game with the discount. :drool:

Yeah, except looking at Speedy's ad posts I don't see another 25% off clearance games happening then. I see the 25% off Cool Deals games, which we've known about. I thought that was this week and maybe the clearance one was happening the week after. It looks like there's nothing this week and the 25% off Cool Deals one is the next week. We don't have the ad for the week after that yet (which would be too late for me to adjust anyway).

So, anyway, just to be clear - it looks like the ONLY sale upcoming is on Cool Deals games. However, keep in mind that CC brings the 25% off clearance sale around every so often so if you buy one of these clearance games this week you should keep the receipt for 30 days just in case they bring back the sale at the end of August.

No luck in finding Superman Returns, which is the only one I was looking for. At $16.96, I enjoyed the demo enough to drop that much on it.
 
I think when people are mentioning that they want to get a price adjustment next week for an additional 25% off, they're assuming (or hoping) that the Cool Deals sale for next week will be glitched again and also apply to clearance games like it did a couple of months ago.

OP nice job with the consolidated list; however, you have the DS section listed twice. Once with the Little Mermaid, and once with all the other DS clearance games.
 
Anyone in SoCal able to find a copy of MGS:pO. No luck at any of the CC's in the OC. PM if anyone finds a copy @ their SoCal CC.
 
Do not forget $15 off $100 coupon start 8/8 - 8-31. Coupon found at any Cashier Register. I'll wait till 8/12 to pickup all clearance games & cool deal games and combine it with $15 off coupon :)
