While I know some folks have been discussion this in another thread, I felt its worthwhile enough to post the entire official list in a new thread so that way its easy to find for those who are now learning about it. Anyways, this is the WHOLE list of what is on sale. Took me nearly 45 some minutes to type it all as its four pages worth. Anyways, hope everyone finds at least ONE good title in this list.
When does this start? Is it already happening?
What?

This is going on right now?
what happens the day after thanksgiving all i know about is the 20% off at mejiers
That's TWO MONTHS away. How about you wait a few weeks before asking a dumb question like that?
no how they talked is they knew something BIG was going to happen that is why i asked
something big usually always happens

Give an idea from last year. Cause i think here in fort wayne the biggest thing in video games was 20% off at meijers

TRU had nothing
BB had nothing
CC had nothing well besides rollercoaster tycoon 2 for 4.99

So...anyone have any opinions on Mega Man Battle Network 3? I believe my CC still has both versions, and I've never played any of the Battle Network games...which makes me wonder if I might spend yet ANOTHER fiver on one of the two.

i got the blue and its a fun game. BUt its very very hard in some parts. its not like a real rpg where you level up. you got to buy chips to make your HP go up

i blew 14.99 on it and i think it was really worth it so 5 bucks is REAL worth it.

i had it around 6 weeks and played it for around 17 hours and only about 50% way though so i would guess its around 40 hour gameplay

Megaman 5 comes out in japan in dec (dont get megaman 4 its just like 3)

used game store list megaman 3 for 24 trade vaule (not cash its a trade system u can trade for another 24) might as well buy it get a game i want for 7 ( 5 for game and 2for trade)

I was the first person who knew about this at my local CC. I went yesterday. I took a few of the games up to the register and asked if he could scan them for me and he looked at me like I knew something. When they all rang up for 4.96, he asked if I saw something online about it. I told him that I saw it on the CC website. He said that he just got the list that day and they are supposed to mark the games on Friday.

So I ended up with Auto Modelista, Lethal Skies 2, (2) Mark of Kri's, and Monster Truck 4x4. I took all of those to Hastings and traded them in for a Star Wars Battlefront. So I have a Mark of Kri and Star Wars Battlefront for about $25.00. I would say that is a great deal.

I picked up Star Wars Starfighter SE (XBox) last night, but it was marked $10 and rang up as such. I'll have to see if I can find one that rings up for less.

for anyone who owns Breakdown (XBox), do you think it's worth $10? this game has dropped so much in price and has moderate reviews, so I'm tempted to see if I can pick it up for
Why is the XBOX version of Kill Switch $20 and the PS2 version $5?
Are you sure? If you look at the list right now, it says both versions are $20.

waxHead,

Not sure if it matters, but the Star Wars Starfighter SE (XBox) I picked up was the Non-PH version. Maybe the PH version is still 10?

ahh, that's probably the reason. hmm, hopefully I can find a non-PH copy. is this game worth the $10? that's the worst part about CAG, justifying $10 for a new game becomes more and more difficult :D

Ugh...the backlog of unopened games grows yet again. My wife is going to murder me.

Circuit City in Timonium MD had lots o' stuff...they restocked their 4.99 clearance bin full of games for all platforms.

I picked up

Spawn (xbox)
SW: Bounty Hunter (GC)
I-Ninja (xbox)
Ice Climbers (GBA)
Hulk (xbox)
Phantasy Star (xbox)

grand total...$47 and change.

I work for CC and I haven't even seen that list yet. Nice snag! By the way, did you see the last TNA PPV? It was pretty good. I was able to drive up to Nashville for the show.
As far as the last TNA PPV... well lets just say I've been a regular paying viewer since Feburary 2003. Can't wait for this week's Impact... tho I already by accident know one major change that happens (as I'm one of the admins of the TNAImpact.com forum).
It is nice to see a fellow TNA guy in here. I'm a member of the street team. :)
cool, thanks for the review shrike4242 8)
One more thing about it. You have to go through the motion of picking up items off of the ground, such as ammo, food bars (health restore), and the like, and it can get a little old at times. It adds to the "realism" of the game, but where there's six items to pick up, it has its moments.

And about the perspective change when you climb up items, it's a little disorientating. Also fits into the "realism" of it, though as I never have any issues with FPS and motion sickness, I did feel my senses get a tiny bit queasy when I was climbing up and down things. :!:
Those NES classics are SO mine now.....
That's why I made the trip out to one over lunch, needed something for the GBA Player on the GC.

You know, it does say he edited it at the main post.. he listed the PS2 version as $5.

BREAKING NEWS!!! (YMMV DEPENDING ON YOUR PREVIOUS SUCESS USING COUPONS AT CC)

Remember the "$5 off any xbox live BB gamepro magazine" coupon?

Well it works at CC
Here's the 1 game i used it on:
Phantasy Star Online 1&2 , with coupon dropped to $5

Apparently u can only use 1 coupon per purchase.
I will try it with Nfl Fever 2k4($5) to see if i can get that game for free.

This is breaking news that is YMMV.

Not all CC's take competitor's coupons. Mine in my local area don't.
any idea as to when this sale starts?
Started yesterday unoffically, from the CC reps, it's supposed to be Friday, I think.

The prices were valid yesterday in-store and on the website.

My local CC does not let people "double dip" by using coupons with their low clearance prices...

I tried once... CC ended up calling BB to check on the price and the coupon got shot down.

i just got back from cc, picked up 9 games. add the following games to the list:

ps2
amplitude - 9.96
haven - 4.99

gc
bill hatcher and the giant egg - 14.96

i also talked to the only competant employee there and she said that they will be having one more huge markdown sale before the end of the year! she said it will be comperable to the summer sale with nearly every game being 4.99. she said that this sale was just to make way for the overstock they will be receiving and marking down for the holiday season.

tentative date for final cc clearance sale: DECEMBER 15, 2004

note that this is tentatively the official start date of the sale, meaning that we should be looking for the clearance games at least a week or two in advance.

I went out to CC today and got I Ninja for PS2 for 4.96 and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter for 4.96!!!! Being a CAG kicks major ace!!!

i like how you say final like they are going out of business. its just a rumor, and if it happens itll be the next cc clearance sale.

sucks tho thats the last week of my fall classes =o\ hopefully ill have to to check it out, should it materialize

damn and i just went to CC yesterday man.. if i would have known.. well anyways definately checking out my CC today even though i just wasted my money too yesterday. man so many sales gotta save up

Doesn't trust the website to tell you what's instock at your local CC B&M. The website said they didn't have any of these games in stock and I went there and they did. Good Luck! I appriciate the list OP!!

well I'm sort of late to this party but does anyone know if this is for B&M or internet only, because for the past few days I have been hearing that these are there prices on the website.

It was a typo on my part. It is $19.96 as I corrected it as soon as someone noticed the mistake.

CC.com doesn't track what the local stores have as far as games, movies, and music. Since there is so many items and with the rate media sells at it would be hard for our system to tell you if the local B&M has it in accurately.
