CAGiversary!
I'm sure that most of you have already seen these deals posted on the main page, BUT!...

...most of them show that they are SOLD OUT on Circuit City's website!

Still, there is hope!

I went into my local Circuit City yesterday to see if they still had any of the following games in stock that were advertised cheap on this website, but were sold out on THEIR website. I found the following (all for PS2, btw)-

Alter Echo- Priced @ $20, but rang up for $10
Breath Of Fire: Dragon Quarter- Priced @ $30, but rang up for $10
Tenchu: Wrath Of Heaven- Priced @ 40, but rang up for $15
Wild Arms 3- Priced @ $30, but rang up for $10
Zone Of The Enders: The 2nd Runner- Priced @ $30, but rang up for a cool $15!

And lastly, for you Gamecube owners...

I found a copy of Resident Evil: RE pricemarked @ $30, but ringing up for $20! I brought this up to them, on the wim, that as it was an older game, it would probably ring up cheaper than marked. I was right!

I dropped a little less than $90 (after tax), but walked out with 6, count 'em, SIX!, "decent to good to GREAT!" games!!!

That averages out to less than $15 per game people!

The guy that scanned them for me even admitted that they had some Re-pricing to do! So, now is the time to hit Circuit City! Before they catch up with their pricing, and other shoppers SEE the bargains!

If you have a CC in your town, do as I did...

Start by searching their website games (even if they show that they are "out of stock"!), then compile a list of what you want. Go to the store and hunt them down. Take a pile of games up to a clerk, or register, regardless of the "marked" price, and have that person scan them. They should match the website price. @ least they have @ my local CC here in Springfield, MO.!

Don't waste another minute. Plan your strategy now as Black Friday's coming and after that, they may be GONE, due to all of the bargain shoppers!!!

~~When life gives you lemons, return 'em @ Wal-Mart for higher credit! LOL~~
same thing happened to me yesterday...but i did walk out with 3 $5 games for the ebgame deal

what games did you get if you don't mind my asking?
i got haven, JSRF, and Murakumo that day..

i also got mat hoffman 2 for $5 today...it was the one still priced at $50...the ones marked down to $20 ring up at $20...and would this game work for the ebgame after xmas sale? like do you think theyll call it a sports game?..

Well, I went to another Circuit City yesterday, in the Chicagoland area...

Circuit City
7200 W. Grand Ave.
Elmwood Park, IL 60707
(708) 453-0099

I was looking for Capcom vs. SNK 2: EO (Xbox), Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions (Xbox) and the Xbox Exhibition Disc Volume 4. I did find 2 copies of Wreckless, the non-Platinum Hits versions too. But the back of the game cases had many dimple marks and scratches because the hard plastic containers the games are in have an opening in the back. So, if you live in that area and want Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions for $5, and don't mind marks and scratches on the game cases, 2 copies are waiting for you...

Oh, by the way, there are 2 versions of Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 (Xbox), that have different prices. The game that has a Circuit City Value Priced sticker on the front of the game case and a SKU sticker on the back of the game case is priced at $20. The other has no Value Priced sticker on the front of the game case and there is no SKU sticker on the back of the game case. The SKU is printed on the back game label cover. That version is priced at $5...

My search still continues for...

Capcom vs. SNK 2: EO (Xbox)
Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions (Xbox)
Xbox Exhibition Disc Volume 4

I've looked every where on the web site and I can't find it. Would someone please post a link right to the Capcom vs SNK 2 EO listing on the circuitcity.com web site? Also, I live in Chicago and plan on going to the CC in Niles Illinois (I only 20 minutes from my house and right next to a best buy and a GameStop). Does anyone know if the 10$ deal for thsi game is happening here as well?

Dude, the prices should be for all CC stores across the nation, it isn't YMMV. The reason you can't find the price on the website is because the website has them sold out. Hope that helps.

My last post got me thinking...
Since we found all the prices originally from the website and then applied them to the stores, and then the website sold out of those games and the price wouldn't appear anymore except at the B&M...Do you all think we possibly are missing some games from the list because they sold out at the site before we got a chance to find them?

this is all of the deals we have so far. cause some ppl won't post which system there for so there are a few games not listed like somebody said Robotech Battlecry was $10 but never stated which system so therefore i never added the deal.

when i go to the site, i only see alter echo, i dont see the ohter games, i search and it says nothing matched ? anyone have these game websites saved, or have a actual screenshot?

^^Sweet...it will really be instore? Thats a lot of games, i just hope other people in my area dont know about this...=D

grrr....i they didnt have any in stock and when i asked a guy that worked there, he said they werent valid because they were from a website when i showed him the list.

Were there people that were looking for Prysm? I just went to CC today and they have about five copies. I also saw some copies of Frequency and Amplitude.

I picked up 3 copies of Haven for trade-in at EB. 5 bucks each. Wreckless rang up for 20, though and so did Matt Hoffman Pro BMX 2 (both xbox).

i went to Circuit City today looking for Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, it was marked 29.99 and i just had a guy who worked there do a price scan for me and it was 14.96. woo. i cant wait to play it when i get back from vacation

yea with those circuit city deals just go grab what you want and just ask them to do a price scan and such.

hey i bought Tenchu today to and its a great game. i love it. kinda like splinter cell ninja style. u have to use stealth or else u will die.

Yeah I went back to CC for trade-in purposes and it took me a while to find any of the games. Only got 3 Havens and 1 Murakumo. They only had PH Wreckless...I didn't bother trying to have it scanned. I should have since this is the CC from Savannah and not the one in my town.

These are CC's CLEARANCE prices. That said, it basically "ends" when the games are sold out @ any CC within your area.

I found Giants: Citizen Kabuto for $10 in my CC, marked 19.99. Didn't get it though. $0.01 JSRF/Sega GTs are nice, as are 4.96 Havens.
Panzer dragoon orta for 9.99 = :D
Are you sure CC lowered the price of Orta? I checked a couple of weeks ago and they hadn't. Can anyone confirm the price drop for Orta?

Dug through their 50% off bin, found orta tagged at 49.99 ( )
Had the guy scan it, rang up to 15$, with my purchase of Morrowind GOTY it came out to 9.99 :p sorry for any confusion

I don't think i was supposed to get the 10$ off discount but my employee was more interested in talking about his poptart he had for breakfast than he was about checking the deal's fine print.
Anyway, end purchase was
Xbox live 12 mo sub card: 34.99
Orta: 9.99
Morrowind, GOTY:24.99

i just hit up circuit city and god crazy game deals, skies of arcadia for gc rang up at 24.99, breath of fire: DQ for 9.96, guilty gear x2 for 19.99, and ikaruga for 19.99. plus this week with the buy 2 save 10.00, buy three save 20.00 the prices were 18.42, 13.42,13.42 and 9.96, 4 expensive gaves for a grand total of 58 dollars, hit up this store with a vengence good luck to you all

Why didn't you go to BB instead and do the gamer's gift coupon? Would have been cheaper.

guys i just got back from a cheapass trip and picked up

RoboTech BattleCry - $10 (xbox)
Clock Tower 3 - $10 (PS2)
Resident Evil: Remake - $10 (GCN)
Murakumo - $5 (xbox)

whats clock tower 3 like? good or bad? as for murakumo i didn't remeber the name but the box art i do. i really wanted to try it out when it first lanched. but never did. so i guess i will try it now. they also had RE:0 for $20 but i thought i had enough games to play (still havn't played some from last cheap ass trip).

Edit- in there Bargin Bin (so to speak) they had Evergrace for $10 (PS2). i remeber its a older RPG. my friend had it and i watched him play it for a hour or so (a long time ago). but i didn't play. Is it worth $10? They also had MegaMan BattleNetwork Transmisson (GBA) (i think it was that. tomorrow when i go i will get it right) for like $12 i price checked it but don't remember the price. im going back there tomorrow because my robotech disk is scratched on the edges and a small rough scratch towards the middle and its skipping so i need to get another.

I just got back from Circuit City.

I picked up :
Murakumo for $5
NBA 2k3 (xbox) for $10
NCAA basketball 2k3(xbox) for $10
Ikaruga for $20

I am didn't notice NCAA basketball 2k3 and Ikaruga on the list above. I should have scanned NHL 2k3 as well, but I didn't think about it at the time.

Thanks to all the previous posters in this thread.

lets not put $20 games on the list because if there $20 everywhere thats not really a CC bargin. so u could jus goto BB and get it for $15. Ikuraga is $20 everywhere (im pretty shure anyway).

EDIT- ya know when i went last night they had Murakumo and all the times before they didn't so is it possible that they will keep like restocking games. Also when i went to get my friend Capcom VS. SNK 2 EO for a christmas presnt they didn't have any. went last night and they had 1 copy left. which means they apparently had got more in. Whats the deal with this. the keep staying at cheap prices but keep getting restocked. but hey whos complaing.

cegha, it's possibly they either had more stock in the back or are switching stock between local stores. or maybe smeone returned a copy of Capcom vs. SNK after xmas.

Damnit, I was just there and I was looking, but didn't think to have him price check Clock Tower 3.

Anyways, I saw Phantasy Star Online there for $20 (was marked at $39.99) for the Xbox.
