Most of these games have already been previously clearanced and have just dropped in price. There may be further additions during the month and, if so, I'll add those with an update notice. I won't be adding titles from previous lists but feel free to reference the April/May clearance thread that Derrick1979 started.
I recall when I very much wnated Oni for being one of the first combo fighter/shooters. I'd snag it at $2.
Actually, I thought everything Oni did was done better by Minority Report or Aeon Flux. Sure, the latter don't have the whole anime ripoff thing going on, but they brought fun in ways that Oni dreamt of being fun.

i was at a CC today and noticed Zelda Four Swords (GC) with the Mic combo for $16.96. i remember paying for these for $13.96 sometime ago, it wasnt cool deals either.
Picked up Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin at 16.xx last night.

Oddly enough they had a truckload of Guilty Gear NDS copies there, and even odder was the fact that they were priced at $19.99, rather than the clearance price of $9 from the last big clearance. Ticked me right off.
good find as far as C:pOR! everybody wanted that! and yes, i actually did noticed the guilty gear ds games. they had a like 15 of them. i never saw them stack games that much lately, they probably bought them for $10 each or something and selling it for $19.99

Well, they had them on sale about a month or so ago for only $10, which is probably why they had so many copies out. Of course, no one still didn't buy the game, therefore leaving all the stores with a shitload of copies for an even higher price that no one is still gonna buy.

shouldnt the 4th of july sheets be leaked soon. I think it was around the 20th of june last year the list were up. Only 13 days till the 4th

Man, I hope we hear something soon...this is one of my fav sales during the year!
if anything have some dope walking around there scan it for you...
What I would give for actual staff at my local CC. I believe managment there is conducting an experiment to see how few employees can be on schedule, and how long they can keep customers waiting.

I went to Circuit City yesterday and bought MLB 07 The Show for the PSP for $16.97. When I checked out, it still scanned at $39.99, so I think they fools marked down the wrong MLB game. But I still got it at the $16.97stickered price!!!

I am doubting they will even do a big clearance again this year, since they've been doing monthly clearances and it seems to be working ok.

If anything, they will just discount what is already on clearance.

Yea, they've done it every year, but they also didn't do monthly clearances in the past either - I just have a feeling they wanted to get away from the chaos that the July 4th clearance caused every year.

I think they did a few last year. Didnt advance wars DS go on sale in May same with FF 4 for GBA (th0ugh it was never to be on the lIst)

then again maybe not (they might been Pre 4th sales)

They did monthly clearances last year. It started in December 2005 and each month, new games were added and older games kept dropping ($16.96 to $10.96 then to $8.96 then to $5.96 then to $3.96 etc.). They stopped doing it after the $8.96 clearance last year and then resumed again but the difference this year is games are dropping as frequently as they used to with so many games still at $16.96 and $8.96

I think that this is the case. My stores were ransacked well before July 4th, and trying to find anything once the clearance officially began was an effort in futility.

There's still a chance the clearance could happen this year, but I doubt it.

But we can hope RIGHT?!!! :)

How much is Enchanted Arms for PS3, at circuit city?

I bought one on eBay last week and the person shipped me the game sealed with a CC sticker on it, was pretty odd. Anyway I only paid $30.99 shipped for a sealed Enchanted Arms on PS3 :)

You may want to add the following Neo:

360 - $16.96

Virtua Tennis 3
DOAX2
DDRU (Game Only)
Eragon
Bionicle Heroes

Wii - $16.96

Happy Feet
Avatar
Meet the Robinsons
Ice Age 2

DS - $16.96

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
FFF: Chocobo Tales
Magical Star Sign
Contact

Rayman Raving Rabbids for PS2 is also $16.96.

So I guess I was right in assuming there won't be a mega July 4th clearance sale this year like the years before it?
I hope so, seems like whenever there's an awesome sale hoarders clean out the place before I get there. I like the way CC has been lowering games to 16.96; I still have a chance to find the games I really want and 17 bucks ain't so bad a price.
Same here - buying early and price adjusting, added to the usual hectic crowds of everyone waiting to storm the gates on July 4th, made me really start to hate the CC clearances.

I like the new way a lot better - some games pop up, everyone gets a fair chance. And $17 isn't bad since most of these games are $30 and higher.

Wow, if Chocobo Tales is really only going for $17 now, then I'm glad I didn't pick it up at TRU today. It almost makes it worth it not to find another $30 game I wanted.

I wish the starting point was $10.96 instead. Just over $10 to scare buyers away from games that reach double digits in $$, but low enough to make it attractive to those who really want the game on the cheap. Most games drop to $19.99 over time and a $3 savings at $16.96 does nothing for me.

Thanks for the update, Neo.

Thanks to Speedy
, during the week of July 8- 14 at CC,

GAMERS: VIDEO GAME BLOWOUT: Take an Extra 25% Off All Clearance Video Games // Hundreds of Titles To Choose From // Clearance Games are Marked with the Following Prices: $4.96 / $8.96 / $12.96 / $16.96 // Titles may vary by store
Thanks for the update, Neo.

FYI. Speedy hasn't listed the sales for the week of July 8- July 14 here. But at DVD talk, he has listed CCs sale for that week. It includes:

GAMERS: VIDEO GAME BLOWOUT: Take an Extra 25% Off All Clearance Video Games // Hundreds of Titles To Choose From // Clearance Games are Marked with the Following Prices: $4.96 / $8.96 / $12.96 / $16.96 // Titles may vary by store

Sounds like it will be the current games list with an additional 25% off then but it would be great if new games are added.

Looks like I'm picking up Just cause tomorrow and adjusting for all 3 when the time comes. It's like getting the third game for only a couple bucks.

will i still be able to price adjust with this?

So did I just miss this earlier or am I the only one who has found Final Fantasy III DS marked $16.96 in the clearance bin at their CC?
So did I just miss this earlier or am I the only one who has found Final Fantasy III DS marked $16.96 in the clearance bin at their CC?
A new batch of clearances?
A new batch of clearances?
Perhaps, they had Thrillville PS2 marked at $16.96 in the bin too. When I had that one rung up it came out to $19.99 and they price adjusted. So I'm not sure if this CC screwed up with these two games or they jumped the gun and those are some new July clearances. :whistle2:?
will i still be able to price adjust with this?
I think as long as it's within 30 days of the original purchase.
So did I just miss this earlier or am I the only one who has found Final Fantasy III DS marked $16.96 in the clearance bin at their CC?
Um I hope you're not the only one lol That's enough to make me leave work right now
So did I just miss this earlier or am I the only one who has found Final Fantasy III DS marked $16.96 in the clearance bin at their CC?
It's currently $39.99 on their website so most likely it was a mistake at your local store.
So did I just miss this earlier or am I the only one who has found Final Fantasy III DS marked $16.96 in the clearance bin at their CC?
I saw what you said about Thrillville, but did FFIII ring up at 16.96?
I saw what you said about Thrillville, but did FFIII ring up at 16.96?
I already have the game so didn't even try. I may go back today though because they had a ton of Wii MtR and Avatar that I was considering cashing in on the GS promo with. If I do I'll price check FFIII.
Could be that someone mistagged it when they meant to mark Final Fantasy Chocobo Tales. IDK, but I'll be checking out my CC now, thanks for the info lawdood.
Denied - still $39 freakin bucks at our CC

Yeah, I went back to my CC earlier and had them scan it. Scanned $39 but they said they would adjust it and that it was probably just a new markdown. Me thinks it was probably just a mistake by an employee to have a $16.96 tag in the first place. Didin't pick it up as I already have it but they still had a couple of them there in the bin.

Well FFIII isn't but Castlevania Portrait of Ruin IS. Credit: My little bro Jaeli.

We were going through the bins at Arbor Place CC (same old same od) and worked our way to the shelves. He was digging through and found one copy of PoR, marked 16.96, but torn and the game had been stolen (along with other games in their game section ). When I brought up the packaging to the CS desk (is there EVER a person on a register in that store?!) I asked if she could scan to see if the game really is on clearance.

Yes, it is. Now I just need to find a CC with a copy of it.
Well FFIII isn't but Castlevania Portrait of Ruin IS. Credit: My little bro Jaeli.
Good find, Jaeli. Castlevania PoR has been on clearance at CC for some time now. It took me a few CCs to actually find one when it clearanced out and I also had to do a lot of digging.

Awww.. and here I thought he found something new.

That's what I get for disappearing for months at a time. Now finding it at a CC is going to be harder than I anticipated.

I just got back from my local CC (80302) and they had the following 360 games at $16.96:

Phantasy Star Universe
GUN
Virtua Tennis 3
DOAX 2
Just Cause
Quake 4
Tony Hawk American Wasteland
The Outfit

Maybe a couple others...

For anyone that cares...

WWE Day of Reckoning 2 for Gamecube is now $7.99 if your local CC still has it. Went there today and saw the game for $20, went to pay and it rang up $7.99.....nearly soiled myself. Great price for such an amazing wrestling game, a game that still considered better than the newer Smackdown vs Raw games.
