I found one copy of VP2 but couldn't find anything else... so I passed. I was thinking about going back tomorrow but I just realized the 2 for $30 sale ends today. D'oh!
 
I hope this 33% off more is true. I want to grab Ghost and Goblins and Metal Gear Acid for the PSP. Also, maybe another copy of Devil May Cry collection and Valkyrie Profile 2 for trade.

god i hope that this time the games ring up including the 33% off, otherwise we'll have to deal with all the calculator hassle until they fix it during the week.

I already have the game, this would've been an extra copy for trading, especially if it saved me $5 on Picross or Brain Age 2. Oh well.

BTW neocisco, has Stranglehold shown up at CC yet? There have been CAG sightings at Walmart and Best Buy, so I'm wondering if its the same at CC.

Nope the gamers 10% cannot be stacked on top of any other discount. So it's basically 10% off regularly priced games though you can take the 10% off the clearance games, but not if it's an extra X% off the clearanced price, then you can't stack the 10% on top of that.

hmm. i bought a game for 16.96 and used the card, im gonna try and get another 33% off of that lower price. worst case scenario i just get 23 more percent off
 
I bought some clearanced games at the beginning of the month. I would like to get them price adjusted but I don't see the sale advertise in the ad this week.

It doesn't need to be in the ad, if the price of something drops in 30 days, you can get the difference back.

got an adjustment (with a calculator) on one of my old orders, but they said I have to go back to a store 1/2 hr away because they said their systems are "incompatible"... anyone know if I can call the 800# and get teh adjustment from a store receipt? IT was $90, all clearance items :(



Are the GTA 3-packs for the PS2 on clearnce too? What about hitman and the NFS triple packs?
 
hmm I bought it for 2 for 30 on clearance games. Do I have to go ahead and returb both items and repurchase them at the 33% off price or can it be automatically adjusted?

No need to return/rebuy, take your receipt in and say you want the adjustment.

Warning: It's not in the ad, and I almost didn't get my Adjustment as I didn't find the signs in store... employee almost didn't give it, even though I had just bought a bunch of clearance stuff for $11.36.

He went back and found the sign, though... all I had with me were the receipts.

crap i just read the policy and you need to show them the advertisement, so how do we go about adjusting prices on older receipts? can you just return and rebuy at the customer service desk?

This one was a 1/2 sheet of paper printed on a dying laserjet, taped to the side of a clearance bin out away from the game section.

So look for it, or ask for a manager. At least at the manager level they should know if they were SUPPOSED to make signs.

It is in their system, you could also ask them to price check the game on your receipt....
 
Like the majority of this thread, I'll have to see if VP2 is available. Monkey Ball Adventure is tempting too, although I believe there's a Wii version of that game.

i am gonna give this a shot, but i am pretty sure they wont adjust as the workers at mine can be such a-holes.
 
Just got back and I saw:

Winback: Covert Operations (PS2) - $6.00 (price tag said 9.96 so about 60% off!)
NFL Head Coach (PS2) - 3.32 (price tag said $4.96 so 33% off)

I tried to find some others so I may go back tomorrow.

If it gets them out of business, oh well!

:argue: I had to grab the same title from the bin as it wasn't displayed in the ad nor did they have the extra 33% sign up. The girl working said the only way they would take the extra % off if I can show them some way physically.
 
They don't take it off manually it is already in the system as 33% off. Just ask to see the price and it'll be right.

The prices are in the system. I had to do that to get a price adjust on MGS PO and DMC 5th Anniv. The total for those two games is now $22.54 because of the price match guarantee. Pretty sweet price for two games.

I saw VP2 there, also Ultimate Ghost and Goblins is also $11. I think most CC have VP2, you all shouldn't have too much problems finding it.

I went to two CC in Vegas (one in Henderson & and the one on Maryland Pkwy) and saw no VP2 at either of them. They didn't really have much of a selection at all. I left with nothing.

I was at the N. Vegas CC and same thing there, no vp2 and i forgot to look for Pirates! for psp, d'oh. the store was pretty cleaned out of clearanced games, no dmc anniversary. or nothing. but did get age of mythology for 5 bucks which was the last copy i saw.
 
I got the last copy of VP at the store I checked out.

wow... saving receipts saves you in the long run... took 5 back to CC today for price matches... and walked out with about 42 bucks in credit back on my card :)
