Might price match Superman TAS Vol 2 at CC from the BB Ad but only if I can get an extra 10%. Doesn't CC give the same price plus an additional 10% or something like that for pricematching?

Yep, they sure do.

However, the normal price is only $19.99 at CC, so you're only saving 50 cents extra with the 110% PM.

if this is online, i could go crazy spending money on cds...
 
BB's Superman: The Animated Series – Volume II for $14.99 is too good to pass up. I got the first one for $12.99 clearance at a Sam's Club so this is a great price.

And Venture Bros for $19.99 at CC is too good to pass up. I've been waiting for this set forever.

Does anyone know how that Pearl Jam CD is? Are most of the songs like the first radio single (World Wide Suicide)?

Have to give props to CC for actually stocking the DVD's... 15 - 20 of each title at least that was on sale.
 
Picked up The Office Season One and two CD's. I was surprised that they had the TV DVD section organized and that The Office was there. Thanks again OP's.

Got to love my shitty Circuit City... got there at around 4:30 pm and picked up the last Venture Brothers.

I love how they are already sold out for the week the first 6 hours they were open. Judging by the small space for it they only got in about 3 copies max I think.

They had tons of The Office though, at least 12 copies. Pretty shocking to see they wanted $22.99 originally for only six episodes.

Mine got 2-3 copies and were sold out within half an hour. I got there at 10:35. :whistle2:( I took my ad over to BB and they had about 13 copies of VB and I pricematched it there. That's usually the process for me: Get ad from CC after finding no copies and pricematch at BB where they have plenty.

As for The Office, they had only 2 or 3 copies of the American and British versions when I picked mine up. They don't like to overstock, which they did with King Kong and some others, but they understock a lot of their new releases.

Unless your CC usually stocks a ton of copies of even the smallest releases, I'd plan for a secondary trip over to BB if your CC doesn't have any copies left.

I see where Superman the Animated series volume 2 is $14.99 at BestBuy. I picked that up today. Also $14.99 was volume 1 if anyone needed that. I didn't see anything mentioned so I figured I'd say it.

I'll get both Season 1 and 2 for $30, throw down a $5 reward zone certifitcate on top of it and walk out with both of them for $25.

Just thought I'd mention this to Roufuss and others that might be buying Pirates of the Carribbean... first off I heard rumors that there may be a re-release of it soon, but that is still in the rumorville.

Secondly, when you go out and buy your Pirates of the Carribbean, be sure to buy the copy that has the free ticket inside. None of my CCs had any, so I PMed it over at BB for $9.99 and got the free ticket. Excellent deal if I say so myself.

And I still have to go and get my VB and superman S2.

Yeah, it's a great deal. I was pissed because I went to Roanoke with the expectation that I could find a $9.99 copy of DQVIII at CC. They had none. :bomb: I went to BB just because I wanted to see if there was anything I wanted since it is a 90 mile round trip for me to get to Roanoke and back home. I was was VERY pleased to see the Superman deals.

After I got back home I remembered Walmart price matches and I was able to get DQVIII anyway. :cool: Thank God I took the ad from CC when I left.

Did you buy any of the Superman sets?

If you bought at least two, they you can get money back from the Warner Brothers rebate which runs through the end of this month.

Unfortunately, the animated sets don't look to be part of that rebate, they aren't listed under "participating DVD titles".
