Okay, I've done that. Does anyone think I should make this a wiki thread?
If you don't mind, your oversee of this thread has been great. Keep it up!

I made it a Wiki thread. I just ask that you don't change the overall format of it, just the content if you don't think I've been doing my job.

Also, if you do, make sure you make a post about it to keep others informed.

I think just the serial #, but Club Nintendo has that information. Since I don't have a 3DS I never really checked.

EDIT:
Just an FYI, it appears that Virtual Console games (maybe others) that are bought before the end of the Club Year have their Post Play Surveys end at the end of August, so 2 months. This happened to me for Mega Man X so it'll probably happen for others in the future as well.

This change only occurred when they did the update here a while back to keep people from hoarding coins, I just had everything registered (VC, Wiiware) a few weeks prior and all my post plays are good through 2012-2013.
Do I need to connect my 3DS to the internet to get points? to register? or just the serial #?

(the DS requires internet link)
You might just need the code from the Club Nintendo paper that's along side the 3DS instruction novel. I did put in my serial number first though.

Yeah because I have 2 DS's which is 300+ coins, but I never could redeem them because I never wanted to link my DS

I'd say that you need to link your 3DS to your Club Nintendo account to get the coins. I asked my friend if I could register his DSi serial number on my account for the extra coins, and I did. The 160 coins are still pending because I didn't link the DSi to Club Nintendo.

I registered two 3DS systems so far. Didn't need to link anything. Could be because there isn't an eshop for it yet.

Wii budget lineup incoming

Brawl is probably still selling crazy good. Wii Sports is probably still packed in with the system. No Wario Ware. I'm surprised

I'm happy that Fire Emblem is there, and I might get Mario Party 8. More Coinage = Good.

Ditto, I've been wanting to get it for a long time now, but the secondary market prices have never come down for it since it wasn't released in large numbers.

But one thing I have to say is "About Freakin' Time!!!" why'd they wait so long to do Player's Choice again, one of the stupidest decisions they made this cycle was to phase it out...until now.
Wow! That looks pretty awesome. I'm kinda shocked Other M isn't in there, seeing as a few retailers dropped it down below 19.99.
Because that's still the original stock.

Whats the original source of this image? I thought the line was supposed to be called Nintendo Selects? While I dont doubt the list of titles, just want to know for sure!

Yes, that image is a complete fabrication. The line is called 'Nintendo Selects' and you can see the initial line-up here:

These packages are far more attractive than the GCN greatest hits covers IMO. The $150 Wii with Mario Kart pack in has also been confirmed. Apparently the bundles will come in black and white with Wii wheels in their respective colors. Very impressive, but instead of buying yet another Wii I will simply buy software and hold onto it until the release of Cafe.
Probably is. Sigh...
Yeah, I said, "No way" when I saw Fire Emblem is a Player's Choice title. It'd be fantastic if they did do it, though.

Will the Nintendo Selects version of Animal Crossing: City Folk come with a Wii Speak peripheral? It'd be a shame not to own/not be able to use it with one of the only games that actually supports it. :whistle2:(

Just received this email fellas!

Dear Valued Club Nintendo Member, Thank you for recently registering the Nintendo 3DS system. We are giving a small number of randomly selected Nintendo 3DS registrants the opportunity to take a special bonus survey about their experience so far. We would be grateful if you would be willing to provide us input on your experience with the Nintendo 3DS. The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes and you will earn 30 Coins for participating. You have until May 8th to provide us your feedback. Please log into your Club Nintendo account to find your Bonus Survey https://club.nintendo.com We thank you in advance for your time, Club Nintendo Team
I would register my 3DS, but I'll need the coins next year since I'll be 150 short on next years platinum
That's what I'm doing. I will register my 3DS when the club nintendo year ends in June.

As long as I've spent the amount that I earned in the first club year, I don't have to worry about expiring coins, right? Seems intuitive, but you never know.

1st Year: 600 coins
2nd Year: 600 coins
3rd Year: 760 coins

I bought the Hanafuda deck so I'm all set, I would think.

For me, after I log in, my coin balance (to the left of the screen) says this:

Current Balance:
1230
Coins Expiring 06/30/2011: 600

If you don't have that message then you should be good.

Does anyone remember when the reversible pouches sold out? How long has that "back in stock in a month or 2" message been there?
I really want 2 pouches but I think I'm going to nab a fan for now, before they sell out. Then if the pouches never come back I'll get a poster set or something. That should take care of the 600 coins.
I think they sold out almost immediately after they got in. Like almost every Club Nintendo item.
That would have been the beginning of February. I'll keep checking everyday then.

The 3DS games fit nicely on the game rack. Mine is completely full with 4 DS games and 5 3DS games. It's supposed to hold 8 DS games, but I think it could hold 10 3DS games.

Would you say the 3DS games fit snuggly like the DS games?

Much appreciated.

They fit on the rack exactly like the DS games since they're the same shape.

I'm not positive about how snug it would be if it were loaded with only 3DS games since I only have 5 at the moment.

To me it looks like 9 3DS games would be a loose fit and 10 would be pretty snug.

I've heard they want your information so they protect it so they don't have to go through something like when PSN got hacked. Has anybody else heard about this, they also said if it doesn't happen they'll get rid of your club nintendo account.

I didn't get this email. Does this mean I have already agreed to the new terms? I signed up for Club Nintendo late last year if that makes any difference.

So i figured the game & watch DS games wouldve already been sold out .... i had exactly 800 points expiring soo i went ahead & bit on the 1st one .... im thinking there just for collectors only , id rather just out rite buy them. Has anyone actually purchased one from anywhere & if so how much??

Wii Play Motion is $50 MSRP, right? If so... The remote inside is worth the same- and I would love to just split the cost with someone and buy the game for $10 or so. I did that with Flingsmash (awful game).... and it worked. Just posting this incase anyone else is interested in something similar without the remote. I am holding off for a gold Wii Remote Plus bundle for Zelda (speculation).

You can register the original labeled games and nintendo select versions on the same nintendo club account. I've registered Zelda ttp, wii sports, and mario sluggers, but I did not get coins for zelda oddly enough

50 + 10 for wii sports and super sluggers
