You can register multiple games, but you won't get multiple points. You can only get multiple points if you have multiple accounts.

On the same account I registeres

wii sports selects 50 + 10
zelda TP 50
zelda TP selects no points
mario super sluggers 50
mario super sluggers selects 50 + 10
animal crossing 50

Maybe it's confusing it with TP for Gamecube. No coins were given for Gamecube games, after all, and TP was originally scheduled for that console. =\ Still sounds like you should have 60 extra coins.

I think something's up with the Nintendo Selects version of Twilight Princess. After I filled out the survey it just stayed in the to-do list. I tried it two more times and it never would register as completed.

On another note, Ocarina of Time for 3DS is available for Intend To Buy as of today and also the Wii remote wrist strap set is back in stock.

Ugh, so tired of the crap rewards from Club Nintendo US. Freakin' UK has the SNES controller, golden wii wheel, gold Link statue (well, all gone now), our PLATINUM reward from last year, OSTs from Animal Crossing / Galaxy, wall stickies..

Don't forget their limited edition DS.

But at least we don't pay coins out the ass for things.

Yup same here.

EDIT: was there ever a registration for Wii sports that came that with the Wii console? Bought mine used and did not see one, other wise completely new and sealed.

Ordered the wrist strap set, which completes my spending for this year. I still have tons of surveys and other incomplete registrations, but I'll hold off until I see something I actually want next year.

This is the first Club Nintendo cycle I've participated in. Any currently active points expire June 30, correct? So if my account had zero points and I registered let's say two DS games for a total of 60 points on June 30 but didn't do anything with them on July 1 they would be gone? Or would the points still be there and they just wouldn't count towards next year's gold/platinum status?

This, they would expire in a few years though. It would be pointless to register your games now unless you can do 600 points till the end of the period, just wait you have enough points or until after the end of the period.

I just used that as an example. My actual account is currently at gold and I plan to get the Zelda posters and get my account up to platinum before the end of this cycle. Do you think the Kirby patches will still be available after June?

It looks like they fixed the issue of the Nintendo Selects Twilight Princess not giving any coins. I just did the survey and it gave me 60.

Mine was going to expire in 5 days. I guess they extended the time frame but not by much so if you still have this survey in your to-do list I would fill it out asap.

EDIT: Regarding the Kirby patches, nobody knows for certain how long they'll be available, but I would bet they they will still be there after June. They're still pretty new and priced relatively high.

Just a reminder: If you forget your password like I did or have issues, here's the support info:

[email protected]

1-800-255-3700

Representatives are available 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific time, 7 days a week

Might be a good idea to put that in the OP.

Isn't Nintendo known for their great support?

Too bad I can't call today because it's a holiday, and I'll probably forget it because I have a whole bunch of other stuff to do this week with the house.

I stopped by a gamestop today and kinda did a gag-like double take. Walked by the DS section and outta the corner of my eye I saw the Mr. Game & Watch Collection for sale.

Almost want to pick it up, but for 18.99, I might actually fair better on eBay. That and the whole, "Not For Resale" thing is iffy.

Dammit, I don't think I'm going to get to Platinum this year. Watch the platinum prize be something incredible this time around.

If I get 50 coins for the Wii Selects version of Zelda, I'll be like 40 points away. I already have pretty much everything I'm interested in other than Punch Out. Hmmm...

I don't think they can top the statue from last year. I'd like the handkerchief set from JPN's Club Nintendo year end reward if possible though.

As for needing 40 more points, you could always just purchase the coins from somebody. CAGs trade them a lot, and there's a seller on eBay now with a listing for DS codes for only 1.00 -- with no shipping cost. After a post play survey, there's your 40 points.

maybe if they do a Zelda statue like the Mario one with characters from the series

i want the badge set more =[

Just finished about 10 post-play surveys to reach Platinum status. I don't know if I'll be able to achieve it next year without resorting to buying or trading for codes.

I swear, these surveys shouldn't be so long or so redundant. :bomb:

Yeah, I'm with you. I haven't had any issues gaining Platinum thus far, but next year is going to be tougher. I do have a few codes I saved, but it's going to be rough getting there.

lol, what do you mean "iffy"? You think it has a chip in it that tells Nintendo you purchased the game instead of getting it on their website, that way they can send the FBI after you to seize it?

being that I have not registered a DSi or a 3DS, I feel that next years Plat won't be too bad.

However, I kick myself every day for not reaching plat last year.

Couldn't believe my eyes, the pouches are back in stock (kinda). The page says:

The Reversible Pouch is currently out of stock. We expect to begin shipping again on or after June 14. You can place your order now and it will ship as soon as stock arrives

Pretty decent of them to let you order early. I ended up getting one of each.

Nah, the FBI will only get involved if the value is over 75,000 USD.

Derp.

Awesome thanks! I ordered one of each as well. :bouncy:

Fantastic, thanks for the heads-up. I've been waiting on the pouches to come back so I could start ditching the coins that expire in a month. Got one of each color.

By the way, how long has that DS game case been sold out, and is there any hope it'll come back in-stock before June 30th?

That reminds me, I have to register all my stuff. I really hope I have enough to go plat this year, it might be close. Depends on how many surveys I been saving up. Next year, I know there is no way I am getting platnium unless the project cafe has at least 4 games I want at launch.

Sold out about a week ago. There isn't a "coming back soon" message either. Then again, the wrist straps go in and out of stock, so maybe?

It has the magnets going for it, but it only holds 6 games. I know it's meant for portability, but I still really like the game card case I got from Penguin United
http://www.penguinunitedstore.com/products/DS-24X-Game-Card-Collection-Pouch-%252d-Grey%7B47%7DBlue.html

It's teeny, can hold up to 24 games, and has a cute penguin on it.

Heh, I'm going to have to go through all the surveys I had left over from last year. Think I have like 150 saved up. I'm not sure that's enough to put me over, but fortunately I have a few games on my backlog I haven't registered yet.

+1 for the Penguin Pouch. :D
What is the difference between elite status and platinum?
Elite status is a term for both gold and platinum statuses. Gold is for earning 300 coins in a year and Platinum is for earning 600. So far gold has received a calendar every year and platinum got the cooler rewards.

Nice, I've been checking almost every day for the pouches to get back in stock. I had forgotten to check today, then I saw this thread had some new posts. Got one of each.
What is the difference between elite status and platinum?
You achieve Elite status when you register enough games, which qualifies you for a free gift depending on your level. There are two levels of Elite status: Gold and Platinum. You reach Gold at 300 coins, Platinum at 600 coins. You can read the OP to see what prizes each level qualified for in previous years.

Oh, ok I reached platinum. I thought Elite was a third type of status. Thanks

Thanks for the response. I even contacted Customer Service about it, but there were, as I assumed, less than helpful.

I was really looking at it because it seemed to be able to hold 3DS games as well, which is what I need. All of the DS cases I have are very form-fitting, so the extra tab on the 3DS games makes them a total no-go.

That Penguin case is quite nice... would that be okay for 3DS games? If I could get something that holds that many games and accomodates both DS and 3DS ones at the same time, it'd be ideal.

Phew... just finished 5 post play surveys to get me to platinum status. I have 14 post play surveys to do, so I'll be at 140 points not counting the couple of games I still have to register. Hopefully, I can make it to platinum next year too without having to buy too much.

I finished 5 of them last night and got platinum myself. I hope this years prize doesn't suck...

I managed to reach Gold status, and I don't think I'll be able to reach Platinum this year. I hope Nintendo decides to give out something decent and NOT another cheap calendar.

I am going to hit 600 coins soon for platinum status, thanks to a very generous person on another message board who was giving out Club Nintendo codes for Wii games. This will be my first time hitting Platinum, so I hope the reward is good.

The calender's weren't bad, I was always able to sell them for at least $20 on ebay after I got it, which is why they weren't bad.
