Ohhhhh WTF.
I'm having a problem here.

I re signed up with my email address...and everything seemed to be ok. But it like...keeps saying my username & password don't work. :whistle2:s

You have to go to register and it'll link your My Nintendo account while registering (at your email address)

But it seems like it's getting hammered right now

So, I see all the games I have registered and I have 0 coins!!!

WTF!!

I am really pissed off. I got fucking shit for registering all that stuff and now they are not transferring my games over as coins.

Yeah, the site's pretty much destroyed right now. You keep getting logged off, so you have to sign back in, but it says the combination is not correct (like it just did for me), even though I was using it for like 5 minutes.

Nintendo must think like only like a couple hundred people would do this, but they were wrong like usual when it comes to online functionality.
That's what I'm doing.
I even changed my password..and ..like.. it's not working.. :whistle2:k
Exact same problem as me, I think the site is just getting pounded right now.

Going to wait until later tonight or tm morning until I try again.

Yeah, I figure it's best to try tomorrow. Like everyone else, no coins - I don't even have any registered games, even though I had 40 on My Nintendo and should have like 700 coins. I emailed them to see what was happening, though I imagine it's just... Nintendo being bleh.

Ok, nevermind. Now it's doing the same thing to me.

Seems like their site is getting hammered. I was logged in, now I can't login at all.

Oh, and btw, Wii Fit gets you 80 coins. Which doesn't mean a DAMN THING to me since I registered it already. It better be some kinda glitch or I am going to be pissed even more.

For those who are complaining about having zero points from the get-go, please note that you have to complete a survey about your registered titles before you can earn coins for them. I noticed a few titles I had registered from before that weren't on the "Customer Service" page, like Planet Puzzle League and Yoshi's Island DS.

... Unfortunately I only got to complete two surveys before getting logged out. Lovely.

Maybe it's a bit glitched at the moment..and things will show up in a day or so?...
I have so much shit, I'm gonna be sad to see 0.

But then again, I am used to Nintendo disappointing me.

If you click where it shows your systems that you have it will also show you all your games. Apparently, they don't count for shit though.

This interesting me a bit. There might be a chance that all the crap I've registered might convert to coins. Not that I want anything from that list, but there might be something down the line worth getting.

Coins work for 2 full years following your registration of it and however long is left in the current Club Nintendo year (which ends on June 30, 2009). So, everything you've registered from July 1, 2006 should count towards it. That means every VC game, every first party Wii games ,and a handful of DS titles. But honestly, they should all be grandfathered in since nothing could be gotten from it.

Don't freak out too much guys. How often have we known Nintendo for getting online stuff right on the first day?

At least give them a day or two. At worst, you can just call them tomorrow afternoon and see if you can get your stuff transferred over, at least that's what I plan on doing tomorrow.

It certainly wasn't everything I had registered that showed up. I literally have more than 100 games registered, and I had a list of maybe 30 or so surveys to take. Out of all my Virtual Console stuff, only Secret of Mana was listed, so that matches the Customer Service list perfectly. It was only with the DS games that I noticed other titles, like the ones I listed. Electroplankton and Diddy Kong Racing DS were also on there, come to think of it.

Edit: It's up again, and I'm taking more surveys!

I finally got signed up and logged in. I have a TON of registered games. Where are these surveys?

They're all listed on your "To Do" list, and all the stuff you've registered previously that would qualify for coins should be there. Sadly, the website is still logging me off randomly.

Also, other titles not on the qualifying games list that you can earn coins for are Mario 64 DS and Elite Beat Agents.

I'm able to sign in now but none of my games are showing up. As a test I put in one code, filled out a survey and got 50 coins. sucks if I have to put everything in again so I'll wait til tomorrow I just don't want to get an out of stock on something i want.

My To Do list is empty. I guess either the site is still glitched or my older titles do not count.

I was able to get 30 coins for registering my copy of Hotel Dusk that I never registered. Still, I have a lot of games here that should count towards coins that they are not giving me surveys for. WEAK.

I signed in, but nothing on my to-do list. It does have an accurate list of everything I've registered before though, so hopefully they'll show up.

The site is screwing up. I've been on for a while and now it's telling me that my username/password is incorrect, and it kicks me off randomly. Also, it says you get 10 points for VC/WiiWare purchases, I wonder how you redeem those. It shows I have all these VC/WiiWare games downloaded on my wii, but I haven't recieved any points for them.
Your Wii has to be linked to your MyNintendo account.
It was and is. I go to my registered games, and it shows my wii with all my downloaded games. I've had registered to my nintendo account since I got it last november. It even shows that I purchased F-Zero X last night, which I did.

Well, I still don't see my registered games from My Nintendo or my VC/WiiWare games.

It's getting irritating because I don't want to lose all that hard work of putting codes into the text boxes and needing to do it all over again.

I'm sure it will be fixed soon... oh well, bed time.

I am getting pounded the same way lilboo is. Well, maybe not exactly the same way. Dammit - why won't they take my information? I have a stack of games I never bothered registering bouncing in my lap.

The site must still be screwy. I can't navigate to anything after signing in, and none of my previously registered games are showing up either. I sure hop this goes smoothly because I've thrown out all the PIN# sheets after registering my games. If I'm out 1k points I'm gonna be miffed.

Okay, now I can't even log on and I get the username/password combo is not correct error. I'm praying this is just a glitch.

When you go to "My Account Settings" there is a link on the right for "products registered." There you will see all the stuff you have registered over the years, but it will not let you actually do the surveys to get the coins.

I wonder why there's some people who have full access..some others who log in but then get logged out..and then some of us who can't even get our own user name and passwords right!

Well I'm sitting at 400 points and it's obvious the site is getting hammered due to technical problems everyone (including myself) is having and the extremely prolonged load times. I'm just going to leave the site alone until a more stable time (probably in a day or two).

Jesus, the Mexican boy. I have to dig through all my DS games now too. And sit and stare at "The username and password combination you entered is not correct" while I fondle all my shiny cases. Work, Club Nintendo, work!

It's kind of weird that Endless Ocean is the lone non-Nintendo game on the list. It's fantastic, but it seems out of place next to Mario/Wario games.

Now I need to bug someone who buys Wii/DS games to give me their codes.

*looks around*

Wonder how many people will be willing to sell codes soon...

I think I'll call Nintendo and demand retroactive coins because it's clearly unacceptable that they're doing it this way.

Yeah, I've been registering crap since 03 or so in the hopes of club nintendo coming to the states.

I'm sure they'll help us out, after all, NOA is known for being very generous towards its loyal user base...
right?

sigh

Finally got in with Internet Explorer. Firefox wouldn't work after many tries. I got in and saw the only game that would allow me to take a survey was Zelda Phantom Hourglass which I registered a year ago. None of the GBA games that I registered had a survey icon by them. I took the Zelda survey, which was basically a few questions about how I heard about the game and why I bought it. I clicked submit and it took about a minute to load. Now it is done and I see I got 30 coins. I thought these were 50 each?

I agree. What really pisses me off is that I don't think games that you registered before the magical cutoff date, but are on the list for surveys count towards coins.

So let me get this right. You are going to call and complain about something that is already free and very cool (once they get the kinks ironed out). Yeah I bet they will feel real bad and give you more free stuff for bitching...

Hell, at least you got an option to do something with an old game. I haven't had any old game show up yet. Hell, even Wii Fit has no survey.

If I purchased New Super Mario Bros. or Mario Kart DS on launch day I think that I ought to get some coins for it. It is pretty shitty that they would pick an arbitrary cut-off date for games that came out before that date.
