Brazil's air force: Debris not from Air France crash
The Brazilian air force said Thursday night that debris picked up near where officials believe Air France Flight 447 crashed Monday into the Atlantic Ocean was not from the plane. The announcement came after helicopters had spent the day hoisting pieces of debris from the water and dropping them into three naval vessels. It was not clear what the recovered materials were or where they were from.

On Wednesday, searchers recovered two debris fields and had identified the wreckage, including an airplane seat and an orange float as coming from Flight 447. Officials now say that none of the debris recovered is from the missing plane.

Call me crazy but I just got back from watching Glenn Beck's comedy/teabagging show at the theater (my uncle and I got free tickets). It was wild. He had some good points but it's weird watching politcal movements...
 
Not really JJ. Planes don't usually just disappear. I mean, I guess it could be a smaller plane, like a learjet or something that also went down in the storm. The only way that wouldn't have been reported missing though is if it was something like a drug trafficking plane.

Even if it were a smaller missing plane (a non-commercial flight), flying in the same area, they probably would have announced the possibility of a collision, especially in that weather.

Eh, planes do have a habit of never being found. Though this one wasn't some small personal plane, hard to believe they can't find even a piece o fit.

I mean, they found the oil slick, that's what brought them to the debris. This plane crashed probably that same night or the night before I would imagine.

If there's a second plane, it's possible there was a collision that brought down both.

There's no way it can be a commercial plane though, otherwise we'd have heard about it missing as well.
 
I'm going to a professional career fair in Cincinnati on Tuesday the 9th. Hopefully some good will come of it.
