I'm currently watching Azumanga Daioh, watching one episode per day. I have the original dvds that came with the pins and translator notes that I don't think are included with the Class Album thinpack. I love reading the notes after every episode that explain the cultural references.
On a side note, this may be a loaded question but I'm going to ask anyways. I want to get a bunch of manga with the DeepDiscount sale going on, and I've narrowed my choices down to two of the more popular series. It's either Bleach or Naurto (I already have the first three volumes). Which should I get and why?
I believe the manga choice would primarily lean on your age. I'd say 16 or lower and your better off with Naruto. If your older, like me, go with Bleach. I love bleach, its an awesome series and with more mature/likeable characters than Naruto, although Naruto does have some interesting/entertaining segments (i.e. The Preliminary Matches) or the Land Of Waves Arc.
The only main beef Bleach fans had was how everyone started powering up and they likened it to Dragonball Z. The main protagonist, Kurosaki Ichigo, is much better in terms of personality and is not as annoying as Naruto. The plethora of characters are very unique and could probably have a series revolve around of each of them if they went deep enough. The moves are neat and their Zanpaktou's are very cool in their own right. The story is very involving and can stir up a lot of sentiment at times, the characters' personalities always stay true (at least so far) to who you remember them to be, oh, and most importantly, Rukia's Drawings. Her drawings are an immense contribution to the series for your all-purpose needs
^^
I'm used to so many damn questions that end with "and why?" (i.e. College English essays, critical thinking questions, Forum inquiries, etc..) that I end up typing/writing way too much, but I enjoy it all the same
