Had an interesting experience last night. I have several Xbox 360s and use a memory card to transfer my profile between boxes. Now all the game data I just save on each individual Xbox 360. So I inserted a new game in my 360 and after a million attempts I finally got the game to work and I installed it to the harddrive so I don't have to rely on my crappy DVD drive. I start playing the game, and when I check what the achievements are the game isn't showing up on the my played games list. I'm wondering how this is possible, but figure that it'll fix itself once I get a save or achievement. So in the game the announcer says when you earn an achievement and when I got my first achievement the announcer just kept repeating it over and over again, but no achievement popped. It got so annoying I couldn't keep playing. So after some messing around with deleting the game off the harddrive and reinstalling it etc, I finally realized what the problem was. My memory card with my profile was full and couldn't add one more game to my profile. What is weird about it is that the game was saved on the console's harddrive and not the memory card, but somehow it used space on the memory card, despite never asking for it.
Anyway, I thought it was weird, and I shit a brick for about a minute till I figured it out.
