I think I'll be using mine for Digital Devil Saga 2, since Makai Kingdom is already paid in full in store. I'd rather have a 20% off coupon to use on something that won't drop price for awhile, than a game that will drop price in about three months.

I checked on the status of my order this morning and notice it was cancelled.....no surprise considering I read this before I even checked......then just got the same e-mail with the coupon as a couple of you as described. I still think that's pretty shitty of them to cancel the day before this was supposed the ship....I don't think the 20% off really makes up for this at all...and to think very soon this will be the majority company (taking over EB Games)....ughhhh......also I'm guessing this can't be combined with the free shipping code...mehh......

But if everyone (including me) gives in on the 20% off coupon, we're basically telling GS "It's ok as long as we get something in return" where as GS should have just simply shipped the games at $10. I'm sure there weren't even a few hundred pre-orders at that price, and It's like GS was gonna be in debt if they allowed it to clear through. It was something that wasn't gonna happen more then once this year.

20% off code 50-75
25% off code over 75 bucks
so they are mostly just givin you a 5% discount

Haha yea, the coupon is 20% off any order, which includes new games. This means I can get a preorder of Digital Devil Saga 2 for 40 (usually 50) and Nintendogs for my gf for 28 (assuming the price really is 35).

I used the coupon to score Oldboy for $15.99 PSP UMD shipped. It says GS exclusive on the Oldboy UMD, not sure how "exclusive" it will be, but for a Movie in the top 100 on IMDB I figure It'll be worth owning.

I haven't received any cancellation email from Gamestop either but my order has been cancelled as well. Damn GameStop. Just one day before the game is shipped and they do this to us. An apology for pricing error would have been.... nice.

If you read up a few posts, you'll see they did send out an apology letter, along with a coupon for 20% off your next purchase (excludes systems and video cards).
Not sure why some people got them and others didn't, though.

Still no e-mail, looks like I'll have to call these guys up tomorrow.
Mine too was cancelled and I sent the following email to the "Orders" rep:
Today I checked the status of attatched order and noticed that your company had cancelled it. Now I am aware and have seen in the past that your company tends to do this quite often due to an incorrect price posting by your webmasters. I feel that you are somewhat just in your actions, but this is unfair to the consumer. If this were to happen in many retail stores I would recieve said item for advertised price. In the past 2 weeks I have made four orders online for videogame related products, 1 at gamestop.com and 3 at EB.com. I have recieved one item so far from EB and know I will recieve the others. Now I am well aware that gamestop has taken a closer step to monopolizing the industry by obtaining EB, but even though this is the case I still prefer EB customer service to gamestop's. Hopefully your executives will adopt a good portion of intel from EB with the merger and can improve on consumer relations. Thanks for your time and good luck with the merger.

that is gay. seems that i am the only person charged the 9.99 last week which yes, was weird. i come home today expecting to play this game and no go. didn't get a cancelation mail from them so i assumed maybe i got lucky and they sent it....nope! called my bank to check recent purchases and omg....they refund me 12 dollars. odd. well at least i made 2.01 dollars out of this. still gay though since i wanted to play this game. now ill never buy it. but i refuse to let this go unheard they are going to feel my wrath. i will annoy all there reps beginning.......NOW
