I thiknk they would probably have it, but did you rent it first? I was pretty disappointed with the overall game. The Arwing levels were good, but the ground and Landmaster missions sucked. IMO of course...

Starfox is a beloved franchise of mine, I will pick it up even if I hate it.

If you Pre-Order it, can't you do 5 for $50 credit? (Assuming you have 5 games that aren't excluded.) You should do it that way, if it's cheaper.

I waws pretty amazed on Sunday when I made a quick check of my local TRU and found they'd put out more copies of Primal!. This was at around 3:30 PM so I can only wonder what else had been there earlier.

If TRU keeps this up I may be looking to place a pre-order on an Xbox 2 if that gets an official realese announcement for this year at E3.
 
found 0.99 rayman arena, mojo, r racer w pacman bonus disc all at my TRU, they didn't have a green tag, but it rang up for 90% off

Went to EB this weekend. Traded in 4 TRU games and got $28 store credit.

The trade in values for the games were nothing before the bonus $10. All 4 games got me $8. Thank god for the bonus credit.

I still feel like I'm being raped when I trade in games. It's so shady. What sucks is they will give me a dollar on a trade, then turnaround and sell it for $15. :evil:

That's why I'm glad they're running an offer like this. I would get like $40 for what I traded in on Friday, but instead I got $130 w/ Devil May Cry 3 payed for in full. I'm thinking that I'll trade in some more stuff just to get as much as I can so I'm set for game buying through like the whole friggin summer and I'll trade in a bunch of PS1 and Dreamcast games for some pocket change. Of course, I wouldn't sell anything rare or valuable to them considering the shit base price they give you.

And by the way i traded multiples(like 10 of each) total of like 40 games(only like 4 titles) couple days ago to eb no problem, clerk was like dam hit a clearance?

At most, 3 of them in one sitting, and never any more than that total. If they don't sell, they go back as a return, not as trade-in fodder.

But shrike is right. Look at his K Mart trade thread for crying out loud! He's selling games that he bought for $15 + tax for $18! He's a true CAG. To many of you are just rapists. The point of CAG is to help everyone, not rape them of the ability to get good deals as well.

Yes, I do have 12 orso copies of primal, but I don't trade in anymore than 2 per visit (the funny thing is, the guy at my EBgames said, bring in as much as you want, I sold the ones you brought in over the last week already, and he loves sealed games, they fly off the shelves).

In any case, I traded in 12 more games today, no problems at all. Went back to toys r us here, they were half restocked, picked up some more $1 titles.

No. we are angry about everyone doing this. I have had about 17 copies of Mad Maestro! that I got at Xmas for free (Don't worry. There were over 50 left when I left, and there are still some today...). But I didn't run to EB and rape them with these, along with eJay and Clubworld, etc... I got the Maestros because at the time, everyone was complaining about their TRUs not having any. But then, everyone must have gotten some eventually because I couldn't find anyone who still wanted one. So I gave them to people at school who had PS2s. I didn't try a rape job.

The worst part is, you not only contribute to deals like this being ruined, but you come and brag about it after the system has been changed because of these exploits/rape jobs. Like I said, find the nearest bridge. I officially announce the first nomination for the 2005 Cag Villain award. Not only did you exploit and brag, but then you try and defend yourself. If you were proud enough to brag, then you shouldn't feel the need to defend yourself.

It rang up because I had 5 of them in there (Bloodrayne, Red Faction II, Ty The Tiger, among others). So, instead of getting like $8 credit, I got $10. Pretty cool, and I didn't have to put it towards a pre-order I didn't want :)

Sounds like we need to burn the "cag1000 rule" and "slidecage rule" into CAG lexicon as the following:

"cag1000 rule"/"slidecage rule": when you make such a nuisnace of yourself to EB/GS/GC/GR/etc. in trading in large multiple of games from TRU/Overstock.com/etc. that would make any retailer gag on the sheer quantity of the same title, they make up rules about trade in quantities and you're such a dumbass, you actually believe them and think it applies to the rest of public, and not just yourself

I'm planning to take advantage of this deal and trade-in about 160 games in my collection. However, after calling my local EB to find out the limitations, they said under no condition will they accept more than 12 games per day per customer. The guy on the phone said they aren't even supposed to accept more than 6 per day?! Anyone else having trouble getting your EB to accept more than 12 per day?

I don't think it would make a difference at most locations, but the manager of my local EB is literally there 24/7. So there's no way around him, except going to another location.

Nope, I didn't have a problem. Then again, I was in there on Friday and things might've changed since then considering extent to which people are screwing over EB. Not that screwing over EB is bad or anything...
 
Wow, you guys need to calm down (page 17 of this thread).

I brought in 2 Jampacks and 2 games from my tradelist (no one wants them). Devil May Cry GH and Unreal Championship (both free from TRU in Dec.). My EB is picky about not having 2 of the same at once.

The manager rung them up ($12.25 for each) DMC and UC got $2 plus the bonus. Then he told me (nicely) that I couldn't trade in anymore JPs because he doesn't have the space for them . . . true enough it is a tiny, tiny mall store.

Not a problem, I only have 2 more JPs to trade in . . . I can hit another store in the next 2 weeks.

$24.50 credit for $1.60 cash. Quietly up to $78.75 in credit by trading in ten .80 JamPs and four free games. But, I'm running out of stuff to trade in . . . I can probably do 2 more sets of 2 (2 JPs and 2 games).

The computer accepts 6 titles for the promotion at once. So if you're trading several dozen, be prepared to sign multiple trade-in slips. There were several games excluded from the promotion which surprised me, including some wrestling and racing games (listed below). I'm pretty happy with the haul so far though.

Games Traded: 76 (60 Xbox, 5 GameCube, 11 PS2)
Credit: $499.50

i went to eb today to get the credit. i gave in 6 games. the lady was talking about TRU in a low voice to another worker, while she ringing my games up. later on, while she giving me the eb edge card, the other worker smiled and pointed to the turok:evo game. i guess they know about the TRU sale.
 
oh yea i forgot. after that trade in, i went to tru at times square whihc i heard someone said there are around 30 primals. i went and i dont see any primals. no primals, no mojo, no frequency, no fantavision, no mad maestro, no turoks, no olsen games, no ps1 green tag games. NADA. i guess those green tagged games are gone. i do see lots of dead or alive 3 for xbox and oddworld munch. i didnt get what i wanted. i shouldve picked up DOA. plz dont PM me to pick up DOA for u ppl. im not wasting my time going there again. thats 1hr train ride. post office near me too far.
 
Took 12 games there tonight before promo $9.00 in store credit, after promo $69.00 in store credit. Plus I traded in 2 sets of games on Sunday at another EB for $24.00 in credit. My TRU's were all picked through so most games were games in my collection. I did get a Primal and a few of the $1.00 music games for the PS2 at the TRU's in Altoona, PA yesterday(if anyone cares they had a ton of jampacks and like 30 E-jay games). And for any Pittsburgh CAG's all the Pittsburgh stores are cleaned out of the 90% games but had Bloodraynes, and Turoks for all systems.

I did find a GH version of GT2 for the PSX for $0.70.

don't see u jealous haters jumping on this guy. dam he almost outdid my trade. And yes i will defend myself and slidecage for taking heat for something we all contributed to. Something even you whiners contributed to in a small way. Take some blame and stop blaming others for your shitty trading skills. I bought all my games on Fri and Sat gave all you whiners all week to take your pick. I took the scraps.
