Nearly 90% of games come out on Wednesday. The only games I can think of that normally come out on Tuesday is Nintendo 1st Party releases.

I'll be finishing my financial aid tommorow, and since my EB is nearby where I'm headed I'll pick up my copy as I head home. God I love public transportation *sarcasm*. As soon as I get my first save file, I'll start downloading the locker keys.
 
Tried a few stores today because i was near them and nobody had it as I expected. Guess I will pick it up tomorrow after work even though a Gamestop emplyee warned me if I do not preorder I will never find the game tomorrow. haha. I'm still trying to pay less then $60 for this damn game though. If anybody knows of any deals please let me know.
 
I'm probably gonna be trying to sleep in a couple of hours so I can be rested to get it. Besides, I'll probably be running around the area with my mother and sister anyhow.

Now if only the whiskey and sleeping pills would start worknig together in the next hour or so

hope my order gets here tomorrow. When I check my tracking number it still hasn't even began to ship. Which worries me. It normally gets picked up for delivery from the gamestop.com wherehouse around 10PMEST. it is now like 1AMEST.
 
Goin' to Wal-Mart at around noon tomorrow to grab a copy. I can't see myself not playing this all day tomorrow.

Should be. I downloaded all the RR6 content before buying the game and it worked fine.
 
This game didn't live up to my expectations. It was fun, and i'd purchase it for 20$ but it did not do justice to what a Zombie infestation could have been inside a mall.

It doesn't really feel like survival-horror, more like kill zombies in funny ways. I would enjoy it more if it had a little bit more elements of survival and Multiplayer would push it over the top.

Dude, seriously... I hated the Table Tennis demo because it wasnt a 2D Capcom Fighter. When I downloaded it, I was like... what the hell is this shit? Ping Pong?? fuck!

Man, for real, I wanted to shoryuken that asshole Mark, and the closest I came was launching a ping pong ball into his nuts.

I'm just waiting for Best Buy to get this in now... one store in Tampa already has it, just waiting for their locator to say my store has it and I am gone.
 
I think I'm going to wait until the price drops (I'll probably change my mind in 5 minutes though). It's not like there is going to be anything to miss out on because there is no online multiplayer. I won't have to worry about finding other players or anything if I wait...

Genji 2 doesn't really seem like a good Japanese historical fight recreator. It has the giant enemy crab, but where is Mothera or Rodan, not to metion that Godzilla is no where to be found.

To me it feels like a kill fictional characters in a boring way, it would be good for 20$, but not full retail.

Hmm... I'm smart enough to know that a lot of people are going to buy this and trade it back in relatively quickly since there is no online play. So I could wait a week and get this cheaper, but even though I know this, I'll be picking up my pre-order whenever GameRush gets it in.

No, I could probably get it from a mom & pop store for $30-$35 next week. That's about the amount I spent to get it at GameRush though, so it's about the same.
 
I can't read a single fucking word in this game, on standard definition.

The parts of the game where there's no dialogue, and the game is giving me commands via-text, are absolutely grueling.
 
Not sure if mine will make it. It still syas on time and delivery date is 8/9 which is today. But according to the tracking number it is still on the other side of the country.

Well, I won't be picking up my copy for a couple of more hours. Oh well, I've waited long enough for the damn game to even get released. So whats a couple more hours...

You know, there's a real shortage in this industry now of original, unique, and fun games that really try and do something other than the cookie cutter FPS. Problem is a lot of them (BG&E, Psychonauts) sell for shit and so devs don't have incentive to keep creating them. Instead they make the next Halo wannabe or WW2 turd. When a game comes along that looks different (e.g. Dead Rising), I don't mind spending a few extra bucks in support of the developer. Wait for it used and they don't get a penny from that sale. I bought this game as much in support of the risks taken as anything else. I'll cheap out and buy used copies of the next splinter cell/rainbow six/EA sports rehash instead... It's just me, and it may be completely delusional, but I like to think I'm at least trying to support some new ideas by buying certain games new.
 
Waiting to beat Prey so I can use it for Trade-in credit. Probably this weekend. Just trying to power through those last puzzles, because I was sorta dissapointed in how it turned out.
 
my copy is left Memphis at noon. It should be on its way to Houston then to my house tomorrow.

Assuming UPS doesn't lose it like Lord of the Rings.
 
I can't decide if I want to go grab it at Wal-Mart in a couple of hours or if I want to wait and see if I can get it from Gamefly (although renting anything you want from them is a gamble) I could get it from GF for roughly $43 ("keep it price" plus a $5 gift certificate), but I guess I'll wait and see.

Thats what I am doing. I sent Chromehounds back way early to try to make sure I would get Dead Rising once they get it at Gamefly.
