Nothing!!

They are my favorite Exotic armor period and work PERFECTLY with the Sunsinger class. The only thing is that those gauntlets have been offered by Xur like a million times now and we are yet to see a few other Warlock Exotics every sold by Xur still.
What exotic hasn't he sold? I thought everything has come up now...

Im not sure but i havnt seen the hunter gloves being sold yet.

Jumped in for Broly to finish that Raid. I ended up with another Vision of Confluence and my 10th or 11th Chatterwhite. But really, there's nothing left from the Atheon checkpoint on Normal that I need anyway so that's cool (though it wouldn't kill the game to give me another ship or sparrow instead of so many Chatterwhite, would it?).

I still have the Hard mode Atheon save on that character if anyone is interested in trying to beat that. Just let me know.

Otherwise hopefully I can get the Oracle hard mode checkpoint again Monday night and we can do what we did last week (full Normal Raid followed by Oracles checkpoint on Hard).

Bungie needs to add the ability to make a fort out of your excess crap (whether that is Chatterwhite, or shards/energy). There should be a place in the Tower to do that...

Oh yeah, I was also the backup Relic holder when sinfulfate wasn't in there. It wasn't as bad as I anticipated, even with my level 28 character. Just jump and right trigger like everyone always says...

Thanks for jumping in with us, io.  Glad you got to add to your Chatterwhite collection.  Maybe in the dlc there will some use for them that hasn't been revealed yet.  The dlc is on the moon, which is all white and grey, so maybe only Guardians will need to build a big, chatterwhite tarp to hide under in camouflage or something as part of the new raid.

It could happen.

I'm glad I finally got at least one piece of raid armor for my warlock, but I am frustrated that other than that I kept getting energy, energy, and more energy.  Only 3 shards out of the whole night.  Oh well.  I also broke down and bought the Sunbreakers, even though I already have a maxed exotic helm for my warlock.

I was glad to get our friend Dizzy through the raid last night.  That was fun.  Honestly, that was the first time I went through it without cheesing Atheon, so that's a bit of an accomplishment.  Finally got a piece of raid armor, too, so I'm happy.

Then I got the Titan Alpha Lupi chest and a new set of legendary gauntlets....and I'm back from 29 down to 26, Lol.  Oh well, it'll give me something to work on while I work on the exotic bounty I picked up last night.

Sorry I had to dip out last night guys at Atheon and thanks io for being there for my spot!

I was so unbelievably hungry I went and ate and then I was just like ahhhhh this feels so good. Sat on my couch and then the next thing I knew it was 8:30am hahah My body was just apparently staying awake so I would feed it!

But yeah definitely glad we got to help your buddy through, he was a nice guy! I forgot to add him and at this point I am blanking on his name but I will try to cycle through my recent players and add him.

Energy ends up being in shorter supply than shards in the long run. I have tons of shards (and that's after leveling up Raid gear for 3 characters) but am short on energy. It all depends on how many weapons you want to max out though.

I'm even ditching one of my fully-maxed Raid gear items in favor of one with slightly better stats and leveling that all over again. My Titan was too heavy on strength which, to me, is by far the most useless stat. I had 3 sets of Raid boots or gloves (I forget which) and one has Int/Dis on it instead of Int/Str so I'm switching to that - might as well make use of those extra shards.

Combine that with my switch to Armamentarium (now that I have the Raid helm) and my Titan will soon be a level 30 grenade-chucking machine (who looks like a Vex Goblin with that helm)!

I still need the Raid cuirass for my Warlock, and both the chest piece and boots for my Hunter. I'd like to get the helm for the Warlock at least so I can then use the Sunbreakers. On my Hunter I'm good with the exotic helm I already have so no need for the Raid helm (though I would still try for it just because).

Just got back from BB and I finally "Jumped In" ... or whatever slogan Xbox One has  .

Traded in a spare PS3 Slim for the 150 credit and used up some trade credit on the COD bundle. Preferred the Sunset bundle, but you know, 0 stock and all... at least I've got the 1tb drive.

Now... am I stupid enough to start Destiny from scratch on the ONE :whistle2:k . That's a tuffee. Might need a kegger to figure this out.

I'm noticing that too. My shard pile is starting to grow, but energy isn't. Currently have 3 that I definitely want to max out. Two of them are exotics so at least I'll have time to collect more energy, considering how long it takes to build up the experience on exotics.

io, I'm down to try that hard mode run at Atheon. I just got my hunter to level 30 today.
Maybe we can do something Sunday evening? If anyone else is up for it let me know. We'd need 29-30's for sure to even give it a shot (unless Gotdott wants to try to cheese ;)). Broly, you want to help?

I probably won't be able to help out sorry. I will be on off and on all day as mini breaks but I do have a bunch of stuff to do so I can't really commit to a solid chunk of time for that. Best of luck though! I look forward to reading about your guys' success Monday morning : )

To be clear, we are just talking about the Atheon checkpoint. So I'm hoping it isn't any sort of solid chunk of time - because I don't have that to spend either ;).

I was hoping with you, Gotdott, Drunkz, and a few others at 29-30 we could knock that out in like 20 minutes.

Ahhhh I forgot you had said it was just that checkpoint. If you guys are all together and still missing a 30 just shoot me a message on Live, even if Im not online. If I can hop on then I definitely will. (with 29s even, beating him legit is tough as shit though so definitely more 30s the better)

Anyone know how the digital upgrade program works for Destiny?

As in, am I able to play on 360 & make progress then switch over to the X1 and continue that same progress.  Then switch back down to the 360 version to keep progressing.

Thinking about some friends that are still on 360 and haven't bought the X1 yet.  fI'm just not clear if my progress continues the same when switching back and forth.

Appreciate any help clearing that up.

I haven't done it, but from what I've seen on Bungie's forum your progress is stored on the server. So as long as you are logging into the same family of consoles (Xbox/Playstation) you can go back and forth between consoles to your heart's content.

It is really too bad it isn't cross-console as well. They'd have gotten another sale from me if I could switch back and forth between PS4 and X1.

Yes it is seamless between the 360 and XB1. Everything is exactly the same. Your characters and progress are all on the server so you can pick up where you leave off on either console.

Only (small) issue with switching between consoles is the preorder bonus red Sparrow. My code was for Xbox 360, so on Xbox One it's in my inventory but it's greyed out with a "Requires DLC code" message. I would imagine that it's the same with any other preorder bonuses, like the COD themed shaders, too.

That is weird that those don't transfer over. I bet if you shot a message to Bungie they may be able to fix that. I would say the sparrow doesnt matter because you should have better ones by now but that shader is pretty awesome looking haha

Oddly, I thought I read that any of the preorder bonuses would not transfer between 360 -> XB1 or vice versa. They are locked to the console you redeemed them on. Only the Game, Season Pass, and I believe Vanguard will transfer from 360 to XB1.

Hm, that does sound vaguely familiar now that you mention it actually. At least they arent anything really important to the game, just purely visual.

Also forgot to mention that each is considered its own 'game' so you can get 1000 achievement points for each version if that is your thing. They unlock immediately when logging into the game if you already unlocked them on the other version.

Can't believe we have to wait another month for this expansion to come out. I need more bounty space now, lol. I am getting backed up by having 2 exotic bounties active at the same time. I need to grind some crucible matches to get this Bad Juju and then start on the other one I have open. Wish we could just get a group together and grind these kills out. Don't really feel like playing hours to do this legit. .

Solution?

Play Sunset Overdrive, MCC, GTA V, Dragon Age and Super Smash Bros until the DLC like me : D

And I suppose you can play FarCry 4 if that is your thing too : P

We going to have enough raiders tomorrow or is everybody going to be busy with new releases? I have the day off so I'll be able to get my gaming in and take a break to try again for my boots... Even though I'm starting to feel like I'm in an abusive relationship with Destiny. ;-)
I would love to raid tomorrow if you're doing normal mode. Assassins can wait. :)
I figure I'll play through the Halo campaign since it will probably still be shorter than the time I put into AC. May as well take a stab at the raid if enough people can get on. And yes, I would do it on normal. :)

Yeah, I still need multiple runs through on Normal for my other 2 characters.

I'll do the hard run with that other group tonight if they need me - then hopefully I can get the Oracles checkpoint and we can run that Tuesday evening after doing it on Normal just like last week.

I don't know if I'll be able to run hard mode tonight though. I got almost no sleep and had to take my daughter for a college visit at 7am this morning. Usually I work at night and sleep all morning. Doing a hard raid after 1am after having gotten up at 6 the day before is gonna be rough ;).

It looks like I'm going to the MS store tonight for MCC. At least they are doing that at 9pm and not midnight.

Probably down to raid tomorrow.  I wont be getting Halo until after work so I doubt it will be installed and the patch downloaded in time to play much tomorrow, lol.  Might have to let that fuck 'er update overnight...

We got MCC tonight and it didn't take more than about 30-40 minutes to install (and download the patch). Or at least it let my son play at that point even if it wasn't done yet. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Edit: OK, I take that back. He only got Halo 1 or 2 to run. It is now 2+ hours on and Halo 3 and the multiplayer have not finished installing/updating. But you can play whatever parts get installed first as soon as they are finished at least.

But in any case that's for him - I'll still be playing Destiny ;). In fact, if it is not done installing by 1am I'm booting him so I can hit the weekly reset on Destiny.

im good to spend an hour or two tomorrow. idk if i want to run nightfall anymore though (especially if its archon tomorrow)
Well, let's run with Raid first for sure then. Nightfall can always be done later anyway. I've kind of reached the same point though. There isn't much need for the exp bonus from the Nightfall (unless you score some Raid gear you need to level up). And there really aren't many drops I'd even want from the Nightfall until they add more items with the DLC. I'm pretty much set on non-Raid weapons and armor. Hell, with 80+ coins I don't even need to do the Weekly, really. And I've already stopped running the Daily on all three characters.

I find the raid gear levels pretty quick even without the xp bonus.

Didn't finish Mordor last night, but i saw I was up at 11 so I tried out Halo. It might be just me, but it is tough to adjust to the controls after playing Destiny, Call of Duty, any other shooter with ADS. I know you can change the control layout (which applies to all four games if you want) but I can't find one that's close enough.

Try green thumb. You zoom in with RB which is a pain but it's pretty solid.

I thought that 30-40 minute estimate for total install was too good to be true, lol. My brother wanted to come over to play after work and I told him he should just wait until Wednesday. He only plays multiplayer so sounds like that might be one of the last things that gets installed.

I decided to do some Crucible to work on these exotic bounties and actually enjoyed it. Also got that pesky Triple Play achievement out of the way. I'm 2/3 of the way to Bad Juju and about 1/3 of the way towards Thorn. The latter would be much easier if I actually had some good void weapons (hint hint to the Destiny gods for an Atheon's Epilogue drop tonight please).

Can anyone recommend any Legendary Special or Heavy weapons that cause void damage? I have to use some of these crucible marks anyways so might as well get something to help grind the kills for that exotic bounty.

When going for Thorn I equip Atheon's Epilogue, Pradeyth's Revenge and The Truth.

I am pretty sure New Monarchy and FWC sell legendary Void heavies.

Yea, if I had those weapons it would be a breeze, sadly haven't received any of them. :wall: Have been making due with some blues that I had stashed on other characters. Would be nice to get one of those during raid today. I'll have to check out the vendors tonight and see if I can upgrade what I've been using.

Goodluck! May the Raidrng be with you.

After getting the 2 pieces of raid armor I needed to hit 30 in the hard mode run last week I'm guessing my luck probably won't be as good but we will see.

I guess I can keep camping the heavy ammo spawns while invisible for a bit longer if I don't get Atheon's Epilogue, but it would be nice to be able to get void kills with all weapons..

Hopefully this does get changed, and soon. I seriously can't get over the fact that end game activities mean running around a planet picking up rocks or plants.
Hope its strange coins/motes of light conversion to upgrade materials (spinmetal, spirit bloom, relic iron)

dont even know why the material exchange currently in game want you to exchange these items for weapons when it fact farming these upgrade materials is pain enough.

Id rather grind vanguard strikes than do patrol missions bungie!

I would like them as like an additional bonus for the weekly and nightfall. 25 random farmable material or something even for each one would be something. The sheer fact that there is NO other way to get it is ridiculous. But yeah I totally agree, I would rather go play a strike and get material than run around aimlessly to get some.

I'd like some straight up conversion between each of the mats (spin-spirit-helium-relic). I spend so much time on the Cosmodrome that I'm always pinging the 200 limit, so it'd be great if I could convert X amount of spinmetal for Y amount of relic iron, etc. Maybe a 10-20% fee, so 10 spin = 8 relic.

As it is, I tend to make special trips to Mars and Venus just for those mats since I find those places boring to patrol
