My titan already has like 16 or so blue engrams that the cryptarch wont decode. Holy vault space, i am running out of room already. LOL

Judging from the Reddit posts it looks like there were issues for almost 5 hours. It's working fine for me now. I just finished all the Queen's bounties. Those scorch cannons are fun.

The cryptarch is refusing to take some of my engram's at the moment though, so it seems something may have gotten messed up. I came to the tower with 5, but there are 3 that he won't decrypt. The exclamation point is there, but when I talk to him they don't show up for decryption. I tried going to orbit and coming back and nothing changed.
 
The engrams he wont decrypt are likely DLC items. I got like 20+ now on my characters and in the vault from getting those chests multiple times before the key runs out. Bring them back to him after the DLC drops!

I really hope Xur has helmet engrams next week, the new exotics look awesome and have some neat perks. I especially want all the helmets. But the warlock seems like its getting the best exotic set out of the three classes. They seem the most useful in terms of perks.

How in the hell are they in a 6 person fireteam in that location on Venus, when the 6th guy loaded in @ the starting/patrol dropoff. Only way I can think of is that they loaded up VoG....but he should've started @ the gate instead.....

Knocked out all 4 bounties last night, per toon... back-to-back-to-back. Kinda glad those four aren't available again once they're done.

The wait for the event to trigger made the whole thing tedious by the 3rd toon's run.

Missed the chest about 3x's, but made up for it by spamming the ones I did find. Best I could muster were 3 hits on a chest before the timer ran out. And of course there were those times where the chest would disappear even though I still had plenty of time on my screen.

Nothing special for me; just a bunch of engrams that are currently in the way.

If I had known that I was going to get so many engrams, I would have cleared out a bunch of the old engrams that were sitting at the postmaster. As it is, those went to waste... oh well.

Also tried to do today's bounty this morning, but it was locked out. Didn't go live until 10am PST, or there abouts.

That spawned in where there's normally a Public Event for the Warsat or Extraction Crews (the area off to the left as you enter Anchor of Light). None of us found the chest though :whistle2:(

Looks like it so far... and doubt it's possible to hit Rank 2 (to buy the shader), considering how much rep we get per bounty.

So best you'll be able to do is hit Rank 1 and buy the emblem

I still had my stuff from the 1st round of QW and I was wearing it when I turned in stuff but it didn't seem to make a difference. This seems more about building hype for the release more than anything else

Are you talking to the Queen's emissary? She's the one who has the Queen's bounties and she's back in the area where Loard SaladHead hangs out.

BTW, it's really annoying to see the marker on my hud (for the Queen's emissary) down below where the mentors hang out.

Im getting on to mess around with the new shits now for a couple hours before dinner. I got one to spawn at cosmodrome but didnt have the right guns on me. That last guys shields are a beeeaotch.

I can raid maybe tonight later like after 9 or sunday morning early afternoon...if we set a time I can try and make it...im off tues-labor day so I'm down for whatever. Only plans are to see Avengers again and Mad Max and play Destiny....oh and clean up storm damage stuff WOOT WOOT.

Just a heads up:

The Queen's Emissary grimoire card is bugged right now. It SHOULD unlock once you hit rank 1, so for those wondering why they didn't get it, don't worry, it's not just you.

 
I knocked out all of them on one character and did a few multiple times to try and get more chest action. Nothing super awesome from chests for me. A bunch of engrams I cant decode. I dont have the vault space for this shizzzz. Seems like everyone is farming chests on Venus. Nix helped me out by showing me chest locations and doing the two on venus and the one on the moon with me. The cosmodrome ones are sucky for finding chests and hard to solo, but its doable with the right guns. 

So are these going to be timed like iron banner or reset weekly?

The bounties from yesterday didn't come back. There's just the one new bounty today.

I managed to double dip on 2 chests. But I just now re-did one of the moon events and got to the chest with over 40 seconds on my timer. Then my timer disappeared and I couldn't loot the chest. It said "Need Ether Key". Bleh.
 
I'm using a make-shift method to avoid filling up your guardian's gear and shared vault inventory. Before doing the events fill up your guardian's weapon and armor inventory (all 9 slots). This way all of the engrams from the chests go to the postmaster and you can use that to store extra engrams for the time being. I've only taken the legendary engrams from the postmaster just to be on the safe side before the new DLC is out on Tuesday.

How has everyone's Treasure Key success rate coming? I've only received one so far across my three guardians. I'm assuming the drop rate is pretty low, it's probably close to the legendary engram drop rate.

Today was a great day in Destiny for me.

I got the treasure key from a chest that i was grabbing the 2nd time. What i wonder is will i need 3, because i read there are 3 chests at the end of the prison of elders, or will 1 key open all three chests.

Second, i finally... FINALLY got a New Monarchy Shader, Amalthea! WOOOO! Only took me like 75 ranks between 3 characters.

I read somewhere that each guardian can choose one chest to open since there are fireteams of three in the Prison of Elders. Makes sense.

My titan got it, so its on him right now. It didnt look that great on the hunter, warlock looked pretty cool but im going dead orbit with him. My titan has gotten 2 dead orbit and 1 new monarchy shaders, my hunter got 2 of the same FWC shader and the ship, and my old and new warlocks havent gotten anything worth mentioning.

I have 160 commendations so i should be able to upgrade 16-20 times depending on the nightfall buff. Plan to use half on my hunters FWC rank which is at 33. The other half will go towards my titans ranks. He is 32 dead orbit and 26 new monarchy. I just dont know which one to try for. I know there is a new monarchy shotgun i really want, so i may try to do NM to see if i can get it to drop. But if i can just buy it i could always go for dead orbit.

AFAIK the Osiris Coins are for buying the gear you unlock by winning 5 or more games in a row in the trials of osiris. Im guessing they work like strange coings but only work at the disciple vendor in the reef.

I got a coin each time i played the PVP match of the day, win or lose. I got 2 motes and 1 coin each time, only need to play one game too.

I'm not a hoarder, plain and simple lol. Each of my characters are pretty full but they all have what I consider the necessary equipment. (An Icebreaker, G-Horn, Hawkmoon, plus various other guns I like.) The rest of the stuff like your SGAs and your NLBs get stuffed in the vault.

 
I got in. It was my ps3 that wouldnt let me in to watch netflix earlier. I wish the wolf bounties had more variety but they are still fun.

I hate it when you find a chest but cant reach it before it despawns :( 

The new one on the moon we fought him at the building at the front end and the chest spawned all the way at the far end by the moon trucks. I saw it after looking for awhile then raced to it hit square and despawn!

I gotta do the 2 on venus on my hunter then knock out the new one on each charcter. Might as well do the daily crucible too. I guess it gets you to check out some of the other kinds of crucible. I've pretty much only done control in IB. 

 
Finally got a legendary helm engram and then a key from the same chest when I did the chest glitch on the same chest. Drop rate for something good seems low, guessing 1 of 25 just from blue engram counts I have.

 
I got a legendary primary engram and 2 keys, My hunter has like no mail space left lol...I even deleted some of my weapons I had 3 of that were not exotics to make some room for engrams. I screwed up and opened a dead orbit package while my mailbox was full FML...at least I know I didnt lose a shader cause I had space for those.

I think 10 (EDIT: it says 20 online) is the max items you can hold in there.

I also got 3 of those osiris coins by sacrificing myself to people in rumble yesterday (once on each character)

Rumble seemed really lame. Huge maps, 6 people. Most just camp with a shotgun. Worst form of crucible ever.

EDIT: Ok I just read there is 20 spaces...but after I had 10 i stopped getting engrams and chests would just give spirit bloom...strange.

I have 16 engrams at the Postmaster on one of my guardians (12 & 13 on the other two). I've been looking around to see if there is a consensus and most people are saying anywhere between 20-24.

At the very least I can confirm 16, and I'll have to pay attention when if I open any more chests today. I'll probably start removing/deleting the class item engrams first if I need more room.

 
Well, spent most of yesterday getting prepped for HoW... which meant

-maxing vanguard and crucible marks

-pushing vanguard, crucible & cryptarch ranks as close to the next rank

-running the daily crucible mission, per toon

-spamming Wolves chests, looking for ONE fuck 'g key :wall:

Also went and did a bunch more crucible on my titan since it hadn't hit rank 3 yet.

My warlock is still far from rank 3 (about 1500pts), but I'll run some more crucible for it.

After that, I'll need to finish my last weekly mission and try to bank a few of the 100pt bounty's for tomorrow.

Don't know how it'll all pan out, but my plan is to buy some vanguard and crucible armor as soon as it goes live and try for Light-level 33 as quickly as possible. I'm guessing, that I'll only have enough to hit 32 1/2 that first day and should be able to hit 33 before the week is out.

Etheric light is gonna be scarce in the beginning so I want to save those for the most critical gear.

That's pretty good.

I've looted at least 50 chests (on the conservative side) and have yet to get a key or legendary. Tons of blue engrams and planetary mats though...

I'm loaded up on each toon, save for one slot per category (per toon).

I had already been banking stuff prior to the HoW Bounties

If your lost items are full and you try to pick up new items does it overwrite the oldest items you have in their or do you just lose the new items?
