Exchanged mats, used coins, had many motes, got at least 12 engrams and got F'D IN THE A...multiples up to 3 of a kind of old shit and not a single new helmet dropped again. I rage shut off the ps4.

I feel your pain. The last time Xur had helmet engrams I bought 14 and got doubles and triplets of all the original and TDB helmets that I didn't want or need. Not even one new HoW helmet. I flipped my controller in the air and was so mad that I almost didn't catch it. Cooler heads prevailed though. RNGesus can be so damn cruel.

I still need The Ram and ExoTac Angel Hunter exotic helmets. To wait for Xur to carry them or just buy another half dozen engrams? Hmm... :whistle2:k

Cashed in a few Vanguard and Crucible packages last night, just to make room and got the God of War shader out of back-to-back packages.

My Titan and Warlock be ballin :cool: .  Now I want a 3rd for my Hunter :lol:

 
Day with destiny after a week of witcher;

15 exotic engrams resulted in 6x third man's eye 2x helms of inner most light 3x skulls of ak... 1x celestial nighthawk (already had) 3x the glasshouse.

Pure shite.

Got up to 6-0 in ToO just bought free loss and 2 wins boon and I get disconnected 1 round away from winning the match.

I give up.

Oh yeah i leveled up New Monarchy last night and got Themisto, my 3rd NM shader. ;) Only bad thing is its almost like one of the others i got. But one is more white and one is more silver, both have red underneath. Now i have 3 NM and DO shaders, 2 FWC.

PS. Why am i still playing Destiny when i have Batman Arkham Knight.

Was it a DDoS? I haven't played trials this week and won't be playing until tomorrow night, if you want we can give it a try!
 
Yeah it probably was, error code baboon. I won't be playing until Monday, found that to be the best time to get to the light house. No need to get myself stressed out over something trivial.
 
Anyone still need/want 34PoE? Maybe later this afternoon or evening? 

Might be willing to try a 35, if you know what you're doing ('cause I certainly don't).

 
Logged in just to buy engrams and try to get The Ram. Bought 8...first 7 were shit I already had. Finally got what I wanted on my last engram. Now I have all exotic armors, and I'm just three completed bounties from getting the cipher weapons. I have one on each character, buuuuuut don't really feel like it.
 
I hate you...bought one last engram last night and got a triplicate of one of the earlier helmets I already have had multiple times. I have like 8 shards on each character now...

 
I just don't want to play anymore (I do enjoy crucible here and there), but psn not having the freaking "invisible/offline" options is a big pain in the ass. Sometimes I just want to play a single player game without being bombarded or being told why I didn't join said party last night  :bs: .... people can be so sensitive sometimes

I just played a control match using universal remote + Felwinters lie + Tomorrows Answer and went 31-8, with a K/D of 3.88. Got my 15 shotgun kills bounty done in one match, and got a party crasher+1 as a reward. Everywhere i turn its shotguns!

Also WHY AM I STILL PLAYING DESTINY!? Seriously i think since Destiny came out my gaming log looks something like ..... Destiny, AC Rogue, Destiny, Bloodborne, Destiny!

Haha I gladly play with anyone here, but I am on the same pattern as you, I have so many freaking games and yet I keep going back to Destiny over and over again, and I hate turning people down too so I end up booting the game up again and again :drool:

Heck I was helping out some friends do Crota last night on normal even tough I swore I would not do it again. 1 hr for a normal run, since they would not pay freaking attention :wall:

After going 7-3 in ToO twice this weekend, i finally got my 8th package today and got 111 intellect warlock gloves with faster reload speed for heavy weapons. Not too shabby, though i was really hoping for the sniper or shotgun. I had a few 15-20 kill matches this weekend in ToO.

 
I decided the Titan armor was too good to pass up, so I ran a 32. I ended up soloing all the way to the last round before I messed up with the boss at about 20% and decided to invite people in. I was in a party chat with my friends who were running trials while I was playing. They were at 4-0 when they started. They won the first two games easily to get to 6-0, then they won two games 5-4 to get to 8. The whole time we had been  joking about how the game always decides to put you up against some MLG pros when you're going for the last win to get to the Lighthouse. Sure enough they get matched up against a monster team and get rolled and they had already used the mercy.

I'm going to make one last push to try and get to the Lighthouse since I'm off tomorrow and like the map better than most of the ones we have seen so far. If I don't get it I'm over it. I started working on my backlog a bit this week and really didn't play much Destiny after Tuesday. It was just the PoE and a little bit of trials.

 
This week's Nightfall was easy, right? If anyone still needs/is willing to play, I'd love to knock out 2 of them sometime today. Also interested in doing a Level 32 PoE with my 34 Titan if anyone's down.
 
Yeah it was hella fast...just burn the boss as soon as you get in there with rockets...the tank takes like two seconds with ice breaker or the crota sniper and you can start shooting it before it lands lol

Oh yeah if you got those new titan boots you can one smash the majors with shields for fun and profit.

Finished my 3rd cipher, so I now have all three weapons. 

Also happened to get a new cipher from the 34 PoE.  Gonna hold onto it and go for another QbB.  Maxed out my first one and was having fun using it with the combat scope.

So it doesn't take up a bounty slot, you can delete the cipher after you turn it into Variks. You're able to resume it later by going to him.

 
That's crazy, Jem! I got the boots but haven't leveled them yet.

I played 2 hours early on today and completed a ton of Queen's bounties I'd been holding on my Titan. Finally leveling the Fatebringer so I can ascend it. If anyone wants to do Nightfall, I should be back on around 6 P.M. Pacific.

They should have given us more warning... last Iron Banner burned me out on the game temporarily. I usually like the mode, but last time sucked.
 
Got to 8 wins twice so far today. The second time we got to 7-0 with all of the buffs used. We get matched up against an amazing team and lose 5-1. We all need the 8 win package, so we decide to go for one more. The next game the other team leaves before the match starts. Obviously there was no guarantee that we would have won the last game had that happened before the game we lost and it was nice to get the package, but it almost seemed like a slap in the face.

Going to make one last go at it in a little bit.

 
Well i farmed 25,000 glimmer. Now i have to decide which chest piece i want the most, Warlock or Hunter. All i can really go by is the tiny pics below, and im thinking the hunter looks better. What i mean is, which one do i want to log in early to buy without my rank reseting. lol

God I'm fucking done with this game until TTK. Got to 7-0 with the 2 win bounty active. We are playing a bad team and go up 3-1. My buddy gets dced and we lose playing 2 on 3. We still should have won. I dropped two of them outside and had my golden gun ready for the next round, but my teammate chases and dies instead of staying on the ghosts and I lose the 1 on 1. Then I drop two of them again the next round, but my teammate dies again and I die trying to finish it without using the golden gun. I didn't even stay for the 8th win I just shut the PS4 off.

I have a Vita, but I totally forgot about IB, and didn't bring it. At least it's much easier to level your other toons when one is at higher level.

Don't really care about IB this round. I already have 28 etheric light sitting in the vault, the armor is only light 36 with bad perks, the weapons perks are not as good as pre HOW, and my vault is bursting at the seams.

7th go play batman already! I've been having mad fun playing the Witcher and that freaking Gwent card game. Tough I have Arkham Knight, I'm trying to finish Arkham City.

Not even gonna try to do the IB since I don't need anything from it. At this point I have 6 guns with me at all times (IB,BH, Ghorn, Fate, Messenger, Felwinter's ) and other combinations depending on burns. And for PvP is Red Death, Thorn or Last Word, Felwinter's and any sniper + Ash Factory. Those are really all the guns you need for anything in this game, and with the management app, moving them around is easy as heck

 
This Iron Banner is worthless unless you really need Etheric Light. All the armor is 36 light stuff again. I may play with the buff on Sunday/Monday to get both characters to rank 3 for some easy EL, but otherwise... fuck it.

I didn't get to run any Nightfalls last week. I'll be online for another 60-90 minutes from now and then back on around 5:30-6 P.M. Pacific if anyone's interested.

Cool. That sounds good. If anyone else wants to do a Nightfall, I'll still need to do one more with my second character after playing with Tukai.
 
Got my "early" Iron Banner rewards...

or should I say I had someone help me get in for the IB reset, since I had to be at work.

Got both Etheric Lights, chest for the titan and one hmg.  The chest piece is gonna replace my old lvl 30 piece

And while I'm gonna play some IB, I sure as hell won't be grinding to rank 5 like last time; especially won't be running all 3 toons either.

If there's anything I want from IB, it's boots so I can complete the Hunter and Warlock set & replace my old titan boots.

Main goal tonight will be to knock out my NF's and Black Hammer disappointment runs.  Omnigul Heroic, with no burn, can suck a fatty.

 
I logged in and bought the warlock chest piece, now i regret it, the other two classes chest pieces look better. I think the titan looks the best, and then the hunter maybe. Overall though i wonder why i even buy this shit? I mean yeah i think the old IB boots and gloves for the hunter are awesome, but they always come with garbage stats and perks so they arent worth wearing, unless you want to look cool. So i have to ask myself why am i even keeping this stuff, or even want the new stuff? Ill work all week to get to rank 5, buy the armor, then never wear it. Im never going to wear IB boots because i only wear the ones that give me more heavy ammo, unless i wear an exotic chest piece that gives me more heavy, then i wear boots that give me more special. Either way IB gear is just a waste of space. The only plus is it would give me more shotty ammo, but it would cost me getting to rank 4 and an etheric light to just get more shotty ammo, and look a bit different.

I bought the 2 etheric light, but didnt buy either of the guns.

 
Thanks to The 7th Number I was able to get into the Tower and grab a few things from Lord Salad. I bought 2 etheric light, the shotty ammo warlock chest, and (just because *sigh*) Skorri's Revenge. I guess that's one way to spend 22,000 glimmer.

In the end, the Oversoul Edict > Skorri's Revenge. Of course I'd rather have The Messenger (Adept) as well, but that'll probably never happen.  :wall:

Goes back to why we even keep playing when all this is gonna be scrap once TTK releases.

Hell, I'm thinking of passing on TTK and any future expansions until next year, but here I am still logging in for no other reason than I have fun with friends and the combat still feels good...

I really should start Sunset Overdrive one of these days :wall:

 
Well technically everything will eventually be replaced as the next dlc is released...you can really skip every couple expansions and pick up at the highest level in a day or two it seems. So the only reason to keep playing and leveling is to experience the items when they are temporarily useful. I'm so happy to not be in crota gear now I dont even care how ugly the POE stuff is. My titan looks like a dork with fish net stockings and a bed pan on his shoulder. Lets not even mention the helmet.

I just want enough etheric stuff to level up my favorite gear specs be damned...I just want to be 34 and look cool.

Purple Special Weapon Engram, One/One Synesthete, Pest Control Matrix = active trolling by bungie on my 3 nightfall's.

and one of the guys I was playing with was talking about having 5 Gjally's at one point.  :roll:
