Lol, searching for the lucky egg was the worst time I ever had in this game. I don't expect to do it again for a long long time.

Anybody happen to know a good team for beating the Battle Tower Tycoon? I was thinking maybe ice/water pokemon and an electric to deal with Milotic. I got really pissed when my grass pokemon just got owned by one of rhyperiors ice beams, 'twas gay.

edit: Oh, and I was thinking of a moveset for spiritomb. And I was thinking a focus sash with the moves pain split, curse, hypnosis and dream eater would be good. Though I'm not sure how it would actually work out, since I haven't tried it. Either curse or maybe Night Shade. Spiritomb seems enticing at first because of no weaknesses on his part, however his stats are so lame, much like Sableye.
 
Focus Band would be better than Focus Sash for Spiritomb. Spiritomb has pretty decent defenses for something with no weaknesses so the chances of him getting one-shoted are pretty low which is what the Focus Sash prevents. Focus Band is more general with a had of enduring a hit no matter what the the holder's hp was. focus sash is more valuable on more fragile pokemon.

Getting a lucky egg wasn't too hard for me. I simply put my banette in front and didn't pay attention except when a chansey appeared since i surfed the internet at the same time. I tried pokeradar but I was running into Tauros, cool but not what I wanted

Yeah sorry, I meant band. A well timed pain split would at most take off half their health and giving the band another use. This is especially good since spiritomb is slow. However, if it's a pumped up pokemon, all that'd happen is spike, painsplit, spike, pain split... etc.

Of course, getting the lucky egg isn't that hard, but chances are usually low, which is time consuming. I'd rather be leveling up instead. The way I did was just repeated Sweet Scent, didn't really feel like running around.

Here are my pokemon I have made do it over and over. Take them off of my hands. I am looking for the Regi pokemon for a side quest. If I can just borrow them for the quest, that would be terrific. My list so far.

So I made a stop over at Penny Arcade's pokemon thread and got a Mudkip which will be breeding heavily once I lvl it up to about 22 so it doesn't cost me 100000 to take it back.

It's a really good move. However, it's so good that it's usually banned from comp. play. Plus it ticks off people and makes them never want to play you again. Same goes for Minimize and the like.

I bred mine from level 1 to 5 eggs and they might have gotten to level 18, worst case scenario. That's only 1800, and it goes slower and slower as you go on. Don't waste time leveling.

He's up to 28 now. I'm breeding for nature and a female so I am just gonna breed a whole box of em so lvling them to near 30 saves me alot of cash.
Plus i need to lvl Baenette(sp?) for item stealing anyways so dual purpose.
 
Hey, Kendal. I've been wondering. When you breed like crazy, how on earth do you keep your Pokemon boxes sorted so you know which Eggs are which? I would think the potential to forget which Egg is which would be there.

Well I take an empty box, and say to myself, I will put X here. Then when I breed them, I atleast hatch two of the Pokes. Put them at the ends like bookends. I am sure I could use the markers, but I am a complicated fellow. :D
 
I used markers when I bred my batch.

Kendal, could you put me down for a Bulbasaur? I need it to breed whore it and/or collection purposes. :p

Comes out to like $230 for the DS. $330 - $70 for games = $260 - $15 for guide = $245 - $5 per pin ($15) = $230.

I'd buy it.

If I hadn't upgraded to a Lite yet and didn't have Pogeymanz, I really would consider this. That is a hot DS Lite.

Not quite as hot as the engraved DSes of Nintendo characters they gave out for something in Japan a while ago... but hot.
