I'd love one of those elekids as well if you wouldn't mind Yertle - I won't be home to a hotspot until 830-900pm EST tho. Any nature is fine, I'll probably breed through to get a Naughty one as well.

Also, not sure who had them offered up before, but I could use a male Ralts as well. =)

I was just looking in my Pal Pad at my friends and I did not rememer ever joining a "group." For instance Trakan is in the group CAGTAC. Maybe I did this as well but I sure do not remember it.

Will someone explain this?

In the beginning of the game, some guy asked me if I was in a group. I said no, and made my own. I have no idea where I did it though.

Talk to an Ace Trainer sprite near the fountain in Jubilife City, he'll ask you about groups. Mine is the name of my primary forum community

I am in "The Elite" group. I could not think of anything better, lol. At least I know where it is now so I can change it.
 
Does anyone happen to have any johto starters or the adv gen starters? =) I have tons to trade. I've been breeding like mad trying to get a shiny (I know my chance is very slim >.
 
If I didn't have to study for my arabic final tomorrow afternoon I'd hook you up, but it's very important I do well so I can't :(

I might try to breed a shiny Charmander once I beat the game, since Charmander was my very first starter in Pokemon Red.

So, uh, I'll probably have a plethora of Charmanders. :lol:

Idk if you guys know of the site: http://www.psypokes.com/dex/index.php but it's a pretty solid alternative to serebii since I have been having problems with them taking a long time to load sometimes.
Yertle I assume is still busy studying and can't trade so does anyone have a female elekid they can trade?
 
i just got my copy of pokemon pearl on saturday... when do you get you're friend code? i'll post it as soon as i get it so i can start trading and stuff

That's a good site too. Another one I found that's still building up is http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Main_Page. I like this site a little better than serebii and psypoke because I'm used to wiki and the search function is invaluable. Will also suffer from lag time because of how popular pokemon is right now, but this site is my favorite so far.
 
Anyone else disappointed with the Offical Nintendo Power guide? It just wasnt that good. It offers very little strategy, and it did not include movelist aside from the original 3 pokemon, cover none of any of the bonus area or any of the legendary you can get after completing the national dex. the maps are nice but thats about it.

Well, you can look up gamefaqs for that stuff. But yeah, sad to hear that the strat guides are lacking.

Oh yeah! Later this month will be the large Pokedex along with info on the stuff after the Elite 4 I believe.

The Prima one was no good either I hear, so there was not much of a choice!

This should have been in the general Pokemon discussion thread (1-B) by the way.

lol, what's wrong with bulbagarden? The wiki is pretty useful and offers general descriptions. It was hard for me to find links for info on certain things on serebii. I would ultimately have to google that site which turned out to be a hassle. And I can't seem to remember pokemon by numbers and what not.

Though, I would favor serebii over bulbapedia if it had at least some sort of word search engine on their site, or if their site loaded faster.

I would like to have a trade back with my machoke and kadabra, i also have one w/ pokerus on it... Also looking for a ditto to mass breeding. lol
 
Anyone interested in trading Pokemon in such a way that, say, you tell me the Pokemon type you want and the name you want it to be, and I tell you the Pokemon I want and the name -- and we trade? Like, I trade my male Onix for your whatever, so that I can have a male Onix that gets the stat boost from trades? I'm picky about Pokemon names, which is why I was curious if anyone else is like me and would like to trade Pokemon with prearranged names...

I have a male Onix on GTS, and I want another male Onix, specifically named Ton-ton. But I would take any good name which isn't ONIX. ;)

Is this a new feature? I remember with quite a certainty that traded Pokemon could not have their names changed. Changing your own Pokemon's names is one thing, but traded ones is another I believe.

Tomorrow night I'm going to have some time available to do some trading, and I've been preparing some eggs in anticipation. I'll make the full list available tomorrow afternoon so i don't get swamped with pms, having had to dump my box a few times in the past week, but there will be some good stuff. If any of you guys want to help me out, I am looking for an aipom, croagunk, finneon and cubone, but I'll accept Junkemon regardless.

There will be plenty of starters, this I promise

I am dying for a drifloon. I don't want to wait till friday to get the nationaldex. I can trade you one of my fossil pokemon from the underground. It is lvl 20 so you might not want it, then again you could breed it to get one you did want.
