I just wanted to comment on your sig with the Pokemon in it.

Is that going to be your actual team (of course all evolved), or is that just the normal Pokemon you carry around?
 
im figring out my future team and am looking for advice this is what I figured out.


I HAVE THESE THREE FOR SURE

Tortera=Grass/Ground
Staraptor=Normal/Flying
Gyarados=Water/flying??? How is he flying?//


WHAT IM THINKING OF GETTING

Hippotatas=Rock/Ground
Charzard=Fire/Flying
A good Psychic but I dont know who Im thinking alakazm but it could change



So thats waht im thinking waht do you guys think any sugestions especially on the psychic

and some of those were proble spelled wrong as I cant spell

Oh yeah, something that might interest you hardcore pokemon fans out there. I have a handful of adamant Larvitars bred with Dragon Dance. These aren't for give away though. I'd at least want a fair trade for them.
 
Hmm, sorry Theduck, I would give you a ditto, but gave em to someone else earlier today, and I'm actually looking for more.

As for a good psychic, it depends. Though I really don't like psychic, I'd have to say medicham for a good all rounder. I truthfully dont know any good movesets for them either, sorry.
 
Ok I have played pokemon before, all of them like most of you but have never gotten that in to em. My girlfriend gets most of my time so what is with their natures dose it make any diferance. To show you how much a noob I really am to this game I have beat them and done some trading with friends and know the pokemon but dont get in depth. Hopefully this one will change that.

P.S. is alakazam a good psychic choice and if so when should i trade to evolve him from kadabra

and if you dont think psychics are a good choice what would you recomend based on my future team goals listed above.
Or a ghosts???
 
Ok, nature, here's an example. Pokemon have different stat values. i.e. HP, Speed, Defense, Sp. Defense, etc. Natures perm affect them. Say a pokemon is Jolly. According to this chart, the pokemon would get +10% speed boost and -10% deduction from Spec. Attack. Certain Natures are better for certain pokemon. But this is entirely dependent on base stat distros, types, and movesets. More info on this can be answered in the seperate game discussion thread.

Oh, Psychics aren't bad, I just don't think they're "cool", lol. Alakazam is a very good psychic. And as for when to trade, you can do that anytime. The stats aren't time dependent or rather crucial on which level they evolve. (I believe, I'll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure).
 
Thanks a lot you have been a huge help thats real in depth for me and my casual play my last question is what is an oval stone used to evolve and dose anybody need one.

Is a psycic or ghost better on that route or dose in not matter because I think gengar is a bamf and spirtomb
 
Sorry, stumped on the oval stone. But I definitely like (actually, more like love) Gengar, I'm planning to put him on my team. And Spiritomb is definitely on my team as well. However, it'll take some time to make spiritomb effective, I think.

The oval stone also known as the round stone evolves happiny into chansey so if you want it let me know I dont want a chansey.

I would not have Hippotatas in there, especially with Charizard in there as well. They are both vulnerable, x4 and x2 respectively, to water, which is common for most people to have. Maybe put an electric type in there.

I also like Gardevoir for Psychic. It all depends on what you would use the psychic for. Sweeper? For status inflictions? etc.
 
Personally, I like ghost better. However, I think Psychic would be a better choice in your situation because I feel they fit better into that sort of group. Ghost isn't exactly direct damage all the time whereas psychic is moreso along with usual added manipulation.
 
Who needed an oval stone, because I have about a half dozen after stealing for lucky eggs.

Also Halu, I have a seviper I pal parked in I can breed for you if you still want it. let me know.

Ok I may try for electabuzzez evolved form hes cool but I do love my hippos they are cool the animal that is I need someone to replace my steeix he holds many of my HMs

so If anyone can help me with that elctric pokemon It would help tell me what I can do gor you.

I'll breed up a Croagunk and Finneon for ya, mind if I snag a Ralts and Elekid? I'd love the Advance-gen starters and the R/B starters as well, but I can wait until you do another batch of breeding - I just want them for completion eventually. =)
