191 hours... I might have put something like that many hours into a game when I was playing Dragon Warrior Monsters years ago. But that's a friggin lot of hours in any game.
 
I'm at 101 hours and half of my team is complete, and the 4th is halfway EV trained. I suspect my team will be complete in 2 weeks, after finals are over and summers begun.

Tonight,(or tomorrow depending on my free time) Offering any pokemon(s) or item(s) you desire:

Rules:
1) Must be a CAG Veteran+
2) If you have beaten the game, the pokemon can be level 50+ and final evolution (Must prove this to me someway or another). Otherwise, the pokemon will be level 2-3 and in the basic form.
3) Don't trade me eggs, magikraps will do.
4) Limit 1-2 per person. (varies)
5) No legendaries available. PERIOD.
6) Don't tell me a story as to why you should get Mewtwo before beating the first gym leader.

Does anyone have a Chimchar? Having one would be nice...actually if I just hacked one at level 1, would it be known as a hacked pokemon or legit? I want a legit one, but it will probably be hard to find a Chimchar with a good nature (I can't even choose to seek it in the trade section...)

Lol I don't have much to trade though...picked the penguin at the start but I liked the monkey too so...ya. I don't care what level it is though...but I have like some machamp guys, psyducks, onyx, geodude...and ya the regulars :p
 
If anyone is up for some battles later this week, Ill do a 3vs3 (legendaries or no legendaries,either one is fine,just no Darkrai or Arceus if you somehow have one).

In other news, Im trying to catch a shiny Heatran. I am expecting a LOT of resetting.

I don't know... looking for a shiny, especially a legendary, just seems absurd. I mean, you do have that, what, 1/8000 chance you'll get a shiny, but that doesn't even guarantee in 8000 tries you'll get a shiny. :roll:

You'll have to raise its happiness to 220. Happiness is an invisible stat that ranges 0-255. Leveling up gives you +2. Walking 256 steps gives you +1. You could have it hold a Soothe Bell, and it'll gain an extra +1 on top of whatever you get. Getting a massage in Veilstone city (once a day only) gives +3. If you have access to the Ribbon Society in the resort area, you can get massages there too. Supposedly, that one adds a lot of happiness.
 
well I'm at 195 hours now into diamond ALONE, and about another 30 into pearl. if anyone wants to 3v3 or 4v4 lvl 50 battle later, i'm sure i'll be on.

You can also get it by going back to the old lady in Celestic Town. She'll show you an image of Dialga/Palkia depending on your version of the game, so you have both in your Pokedex.

That sucks. Perhaps Nintendo Wi-fi will update sometime in the future so you can go online. I really do not know much about wireless networking so I have no idea why they do not support it. :cry:
 
Hey guys, I bought a Sapphire catridge that contains a lot of shiny (and rare) pokemon, but unfortunately, most are hacked (if every one of them being SHINY didnt give it away, they all have perfect IV's). Everything from Bulbasaur to Deoxys is in there. I don't like using hacked pokemon, since it is an unfair advantage, but if anyone is interested in using them for fun, then I can import them and trade them for something (I won't ask for anything legendary or hard to find).

Ok, so far 2 people have contacted me over my hacked Pokemon. Since I am betting that a ton of people are going to want the event legendaries, Ill make a list of who gets what. Now remember, these are HACKED pokemon, and are NOT legitimate. What you do with them is up to you. The only pokemon I have duplicates of is Mewtwo, Lugia, and Ho-oh, as I have two of them. Everything else there is only one of, and after that there will be no more. So if you didn't get the one you wanted, ask the person I traded to to give you it. Also, since I can only get six pokemon per day, this could take a while if you want more than six. Ill put the first two people who contacted me down. First person to post what they want gets it. MM, if you need a manaphy, I'll give you one, however it is "hacked". But i can make the stats high or low, whatever you'd like (of course within the limits of the game).

Also, battle tower wifi is full of hackers (yes, I'm being hypocritical). I was wondering why my 510 ev pokes were occasionally being sweeped by one pokemon, when I should've been able to put up at least some resistance and I decided to investigate.

I generated a pokemon with 255 in all stats. Surprisingly it wasn't disqualified or the stats capped to 85 in all (510 total). Although people say the pokemon are capped to 255 in each stat, it doesn't stop the pokemon from having 255evs in all stats. Pretty lame I'd say.

An extra 255 in def/sp.def can mean the difference between winning and losing, and unfortunately there are people abusing the wifi battle tower. Sigh.

EDIT: Oh and there are reports of pokemon like Spiritomb and Sableye who dont have weaknesses and have Wonderguard. Which makes them pretty much invincible except to Leech Seed, Poison, etc.

No, I didn't make the hacked pokemon. They were on the cartridge,and I really don't want them. However, if people are opposed to it, I won't trade them.

Moving onto another subject, I am trying to get a Giratina with good IV's. Should I stick with this one or reset?

The hacked pokemon aren't my doing, but if people are against me trading them, I won't. Probably wouldn't be a good thing to let loose illegitimate pokemon into the trading economy anyway.

Moving on, can someone check this? I imported a Metagross from a friend's game, and either I am calculating wrong (I am using the IV calc on serebii.net), or it has perfect IV's in FIVE stats (odds of that are about the odds of winning the lottery. Twice). Here are his stats:

They should've done that from the very beginning... However, I hope they don't ban pokemon generated from AR that are still within regulations. I mean, look at serebii Pokemon of the Week. It's the legendary bird Moltres and his moveset requires Hidden Power, and uh it's a legendary...

Well, now that I think about it, things generated from pokesav, which I admit I use can't be detected since it alters the save file. I believe that announcement only addressed the specific AR codes and the GTS, since that's essentially outside of the f-code system.
 
Anybody know how I can trade for a Mew or get one as I don't believe there is any "LEGIT" way? Does anybody even trade that thing? Anybody cloned it in Emerald or something? I really want a low level Mew. If you have a Gamershark, AR, or anything from a previous game to get it and would give me one. I would really like it. I don't cheat in the sense of battle or anything but I don't think there is any way to collect this pokemon other than some GS or AR device.
 
How does one tell if a Pokemond is hacked? If someone shares a save file online so they can keep giving everyont the same rare Pokemon over and over is that considered hacked or is that something different? I just want to make sure I avoid hacked one, but at the same time I don't mind if someone wants to give me something rare. :)
 
hey I'm just wondering what do you need in order to save your pokemon save file from the DS to the computer? Eventually I'd like to play the game a 2nd time, but I also want to get really good pokemon guys and maybe battle a bit...so I won't want to delete the DS file. So ya...if theres some way to transfer the save to my computer and then back to the DS later I'm set, otherwise I might buy the other version in the future.

You'd think they'd realize the dilemma I explained existed...eh...actually I bet they did, they just want you to waste more $$$ XD
 
I've been looking around the Internet for a mew and there is all this talk about legit and non legit Mews. What is the real difference? Does one get banned online and one doesn't? I'm not getting it. Somebody clear this up please before I do any trading.

Non-legit means that it was gotten through the use of a cheat device. Other than that no real difference other than it's stats may be higher than what's actually possible or something of that nature.

I have about 10 legit mews, actually. Make some offers and maybe we can work something out.
