FYI, ADV (and Funimation, I think?) are closing down their individual online stores and moving online sales to RightStuf (aka TRSI). RightStuf is one of, if not the, top legitimate online anime retailers, and they occasionally also publish series.

I just received the product. It wasn't as "impressive" as I thought. It was addressed from rightstuf themselves.

(A) I received a regular DVD black case with proper artwork, but NO insert.
(B) The coupon was simply a coupon code printed on white paper that is SPECIFICALLY used on www.rightstuf.com during checkout for $5.00 off the Devil May Cry Volume 2 plus artbox. It's basically your regular rightstuf.com coupon codes.
(I'm heavily disappointed that this is not a coupon that you can take to your normal retailer such as Best Buy or FYE).
(C) The "coupon" expires 12/31/2008; it is a one time use code.

I will need to contact rightstuf to see if an actual "insert" was supposed to be packaged with the case.

Nevertheless, it's okay for $3.99. I'm grateful for the case.

i just got it today too. pretty disappointing. i was expecting a collector's box, as in an outer cardboard box + dvd case. but it's a just a regular dvd case.

the coupon code i got is: dantebox

just to see how much it is using the coupon code, i went through the checkout process:

Discount: -$5.00
Shipping: $3.00 Economy (UPS Ground is $7.00
Tax: None, only in Iowa
TOTAL from Rightstuf: $31.99

compare it to me buying it from Best Buy with no discounts, even with the pretty high Chicago tax rate:

BEST BUY
DMC Vol 2 + Artbox: $29.99
Tax: $2.77 (9.25%)
Total: $32.76

you're better off buying the DMC Vol. 2 Artbox from Best Buy. you won't have to wait. and you could also wait until they have those 10% off games, movies and music Reward Zone coupons.

p.s. - don't know if it's a unique code, but go ahead and use it if you want since i'll be getting mine from best buy.
 
Actually, ADV Films just lost a key investor who has a relationship with the company that distributes for ADV Films. But things maybe looking up because it seems us anime DVD reviewers are starting to receive stuff from them again. (well, I haven't yet...other reviewers have as of last week).
 
Mine arrived as well, and same all around for mine. My code was also the same as mentioned previously, so it may be a one-time use code for the account that made the order for the kit, though it's certainly not a unique code.
 
Can someone who's received the mail away case post pics if it's not too much trouble?

I was going to order a case, but I didn't want to create an account on a site that I would never use again. If it looks really cool, I'll just go ahead and sign up.

Yah, know about the fax/mail thing, don't care. I would charge it.
