Do all the decent girls always have bfs?

I haven't posted too much on CAG and certainly not to talk about personal stuff before but I thought I would today to vent.

I have a question for fellow CAGers. Do all the decent girls have bfs? There are very and I mean very few girls I'm interested in and every single one of them seems to have a bf. Wtf is up with that?! Are the decent girls never single or something? Am I the only one in this situation?

Think about it this way, if they are decent to you and not fucked up somehow, they are probably the same to a bunch of other guys as well. Basically there are a lot of guys interested in them so they find boyfriends easily. ;)

the decent ones always get married eraly.

And they stop returning your calls after you try to break up their weddings by riding in on a horse during the vows.

I understand that but there aren't many decent guys out there so the decent girls should have trouble finding decent boyfriends. The only logical explanation is they don't wait for the decent guys and settle too easily for less desirable guys. It seems like girls in general always have bfs. I definitely meet more girls of any quality with bfs than I meet guys with gfs. There's something wrong with that though because there are more females in the population than males. It's a paradox.

It depends how old you are.

If it's the later years of high school... most girls are with someone because we've gotten to know many of these people, and in high school, there's still the peer pressure that you must be with some guy, even if you don't like him that much.

If it's college... you should be interested in a lot more people. College is all about meeting tons of people.

I'm 23.

Hmmm... well, then you need to open your options.

Go to public places and meet more girls. You're right at the age where women start realizing they can't have fun like they used to, and prepare to settle down with someone. Thus, it's harder to find someone unavailable. But, they're out there. And you may need to lower your standards.

I'm not lowering my standards. I'd rather have no one than settle. Obviously girls don't think this way.

Or just do what I've done in the past couple of weeks...find one that fits your extremely high standards and steal her from her current (undeserving) boyfriend... ;) FHM would LOVE my story!

You don't really know a girl until you start talking to her, at least. Give it a chance.

Yep... and then we'll see how you feel after she leaves you in the same way.

Once a cheater. Always a cheater.

Bitter.

Lose some weight, learn some charm, grow a bigger dick, make more money, have an optimistic attitude.

Then the girls wont have to settle when they pick you.

I really don't want to steal anyone away from someone. But it does seem viable to wait for a girl I'm interested in who has a bf to break up with that bf.

What's the deal with girls settling so easily? I've had a number of girls who have been interested in me over the years but because they're not what I'm looking for I have zero interest in them and don't date them in the first place. I guess girls aren't that picky?

She makes sense on this one. Can't make a choice of people to pick from when you're limiting your possiblity for options.
Off-topic, but I love your sig, Slipknot9762. We should start a petition to ban Zion.
Personally, I rather like zion.

Guys have to ask girls out 95% of the time. That's why we're less picky.

Plus, some girls will say yes to anyone... because they're desperate, or don't want to hurt people, or just stupid.

Are you simply basing your judgments on girls by their looks?

Bah...she was already leaving when I met her...
And I didn't do anything til they were done...

If it ends this way - oh well...

I'm a firm believer that things will work out if they should, so I don't get stressed when a g/f of 4 years leaves me for no reason, then gets a new b/f in 2 weeks lol

I'm not picking these girls from a distance. I'm talking about girls I've gotten to know usually quite well. These are girls that are often times my friends. The ones I'm interested in dating always turn out to have boyfriends.

The 5% that ask guys out tend to be the real keepers, since they know what they want and go out to get it. Nice trait to have in a GF.

And yes, some women will say yes to anyone, usually not wanting to be alone, though desperation can be driven by lonliness, stupidity, or both. Not wanting to hurt people can just be a case of not thinking of themselves first.

Anyone judging girls/women only on looks needs to have a quick kick in the conscience to get their head straightened out.

That can be a problem.

Try not being friends with a girl before asking for a date. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those girls lied they had a bf, just so to not hurt your feelings, and keep you as a friend.

I've pointed this out before, and people went crazy on me... so, I'll just leave it there. ;)

If they have BF's, then why not be friends with them? Some women learn to love the people they're good friends with, instead of learning to be good friends with the people they love. Never know what happens until you try.

Looks like we're working from cross-purposes on this one. :D

And crazy is only a perception, anyway.

It's not a good trait. I know exactly what I want, and I'm more gutsy than most... but, I'd never ask a guy out first.

Asking a guy out = Slut. At least for people my age, and younger.

I'm not bitter just annoyed.

I'm not fat. In fact I'm on the slim side and am currently bulking up. Most girls find me very charming. As for my money and penis no trouble there either. :D In fact I'm from a fairly wealthy family and I downplay that when talking to people normally because I don't want someone who is money hungry. I try to have an optimistic attitude but I have been looking for years for the right girl. Many girls have been interested in me it's just the ones I'm interested in are always taken. I don't see why you're insulting me. I wasn't insulting anyone. Just stating that the girls I'm interested are always taken. And no girl would be settling if they picked me believe me. :D

I did really well in College with the girls. Things gets harder when you leave school and you enter the real world. If you are having trouble now, I suggest you do some soul searching. Maybe a change of clothing, hairstyle will help.

I kinda agree with Lina. College is the time to have fun and not think much about relationships and stuff. Remember you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet your prince!

Not from my view on life. Knowing what you want and being gutsy enough to go for it is somthing I find to be quite appealing. I'd like someone to tell me how it is because they're direct and not some passive situation in not telling me.

Any woman who asks out a man, IMHO, isn't a slut. Which is a difference of opinion, though that does happen. They just know what they want and plan to try to get it.

Because they like you that means they aren't picky? You must have really low self esteem.

People like who they like. It's a mixture of nature and nurture.

More sage advice.

College is easily the best place to meet people and get to know yourself. And unless things go very well, the people in college aren't the people you end up meeting/dealing with in real life.

Real life has different situations for meeting people, so the "rules" change a bit. Have to adapt to them.

I disagree with Lina on this point. I've had Girls ask me out and its been all goooooood. I never thought of them as being sluts.

Usually the ones who toss out the insults are a bit self-conscious on their own, so take that into consideration when worrying about insults being tossed around.

Good to know I'm not alone in that thought, not that I was worried about that in the slightest. :D

Obviously, it's all good for you. ;)

It's different on the other side.

Soon enough, when I'm able to go out again... I'll probably be asking some guys out. But, I admit I'm a slut, so I don't care. :)

And they should be damn lucky you are asking them out. ;)

Nothing wrong with being a slut, they're needed like anyone else. :D

This one time, I pretended to be gay to get close to a girl....

I didnt get the girl, but I got a part in a play.. ;-)

Well, I slept with her....and said some shit like "I've never done this before, this is so exciting!" In my best C3PO accent.

yea i also disagree... whats with the gender sterotyping of who should ask who out? Thats more messed up that DDF.

I guess. Although, I feel bad about it. The last thing I want now is a relationship. I just want a sex buddy. It's been a long time.

You've made some comments before about not being able to go out.... you have a broken leg or something?

Also, about the slut thing....Call me.

I dont really know what I'm doing, but I can do it all night... ;-)

 You just started a stampede.

But I agree, sometimes a sex buddy is all that one can handle.

If you don't want a relationship and just want someone to enjoy some horizontal pleasure with, you shouldn't feel bad about it. It's your choice, you do what you want to do, that's best for you. If you feel that a relationship isn't wanted, then don't pursue one. Pursue something that will get you what you want, someone to enjoy some physical pleasure with.

Seems simple enough to me. No possible confusion there.

I'm not basing it just on looks. I look for the complete package.

I know these girls aren't lying because I either know them so well that I know for a fact that they have a bf or I don't know them that well and they mention they have a bf before they even know if I'm single or not. I'm also not asking these girls out. I find out these girls have bfs before I would ask them out in the first place. Often times they tell me about their bf and then ask me if I have a gf or not. That makes me wonder... Do girls ever lie to guys about having bfs because they're actually interested in the guy they're lying to? Like they talk about a fictitious bf to try to find out if the guy they're lying to has a gf or not?
