I'd like to know this as well. Need to know, so if I have to, I can go out and buy some Dr Pepper before the promotion ends.
 
From their twitter:

"The delay in kit upgrades DLC for Battlefield Bad Company 2 also affects the Dr Pepper promotion in North America. The kits are coming soon."

They're taking their sweet time.
 
Doesn't the Dr Pepper code promotion expire soon? If they don't have it fixed by the time the promotion ends I am going to demand they pay for my two sodas I bought just for the BFBC2 DLC.
 
I can't seem to get the Sentry Interface. I've used three codes and only get two choices each time. What do I need to change?

I BELIEVE (I don't know for certain) that they are going to stop making the Dr. Peppers with the codes on them for a while, but as long as you still have the codes they can still be used until the promotion ends (in 2011 I believe).
 
Some answers to recent questions:

The codes linked at the bio site only work for two of the ME downloads.

The Sentry Interface trick no longer works, you have to use a real code for it.

BF:BC2 DLC is not yet available through the promotion - probably because it hasn't passed MS and/or Sony certification yet.

Timing: It's in the first post. March 31st they stop shipping bottle codes and begin the cup promotion at 7/11s and possibly elsewhere through the end of the year. July 1st they start doing bottle codes again through the end of the year. Codes can be redeemed through the end of the year.

It's unknown if any DLC will go away, rotate, etc. but it's probably bet to grab stuff you want ASAP just in case.

I don't understand this: aren't the codes supposed to be universal to choosing the DLC and is just waiting on the actual DLC? Sounds like bullshit to me. . .
 
/shrug There may be a delay adding BF:BC2 to the actual website.

The process of redeeming a normal code is: entering the code, logging into your Dr. Pepper account, picking the game from a list, picking the specific DLC from a list, logging into your EA Account, and finally clicking through to confirm the actual DLC.

For ME2 that clickthrough takes you to your social.bioware.com dlc inventory, for BFH it takes you to your BFH account to sign in and pick a hero to apply the equipment to, etc.

If they're having website trouble anywhere from picking the game to the clickthrough to confirm the DLC, that could cause problems or open up the possibility of an exploit, which would lead to a delay until they recode things.

I think you give them way too much credit since we've already abused the hell out of the ME2 codes. The DLC simply isn't ready and they're trying to cover it with a cheap lie? Whatever, call me when it's ready I say.
 
Anyone else now having problems redeeming these codes for items besides Mass Effect 2 items?

I've tried CBEEAAAE98ZV and CBEEAAA41NWH and both of them only allow to choose between Mass Effect items (I was hoping to get the Battlefield Heroes sets). I still have some actual codes from Dr. Pepper bottles, but I don't want to waste them if they'll only give me the same item choices for ME2, and no additional games.
 
Yeah, I think someone told them about that thread because they've fixed the sentry_interface glitch and limited the codes to ME2-only.
 
While browsing through Youtube, I was able to come across two new videos showcasing the two new maps coming out. The description says that they will be available for all platforms on March 30th. This could possibly coincide with the release for the Dr. Pepper Camouflage DLC.

Not preorder, but VIP related. Basically whoever has a VIP code will get them for free, everyone else is SOL. The VIP code comes with any new copy.

This is very off-topic at this point, but does DICE and/or EA say they're VIP maps? When you go to Store on the 360 BC2 title screen, the VIP tag isn't there.

Though it is really 1 conquest and 1 rush map, basically already in the game but not previously available to those modes.

I really only play rush/ some squad DM, so I will get 1 "new" map. It's free so I'm not complaining.

Not sure what you mean. When I go to the store on BC2 on 360 both Map Pack 1 and 2 have the VIP logo next to it.
 
So did anyone get the BC2 codes working or what not? Are these unique codes or are they just universal codes? I would assume universal. Oh wait the title says BC2 - Delayed.
 
The Map upgrade thing was just a server side update. No download necessary.

Still can't believe its taking this long to get that DLC. Glad I already have my 4 codes though. :)
 
I have two codes, I would have more but my brother failed to save me the caps after I bought him a Dr Pepper for when he went to work.

They added that when they released the maps Wednesday. When it was in the upcoming section there was no VIP tag. Now I wonder if the kits will be VIP-only as well. Does the ME2 Dr.P stuff require Cerberus?

I'm just wondering, but those character skins in the link for BF: BC2 are the same skins in the PC version. I can not tell any difference.

EDIT: Ok I noticed the russia medic hat is now green instead of red, getting that skin for sure.

Perhaps give the medic a "Dr. Pepper" perk where they can run really quick and their defib and medic pack animations are sped up =P

this whole thing is messed up w. BFBC2 - i saw the ad for DrPepper/BFBC2 content on the 360 dashboard recently, but the thing ended b4 it even started?? WTF??
 
Wow, what BS. I had a crap ton of codes as well cause I thought Skate 3 was going to be supported? SO now what do I do with all these stupid bottle caps? I hate promo's like this. Oh sure, DLC is coming....but wait, you can't have it cause the promo ended.
 
The promotion is supposed to start up again later this year, but this is still fucking ridiculous. I made sure to have enough codes to get the Battlefield content but not only does it get delayed, but now I can't get it because of this bullshit. :bs:
