Dragonball: Evolution - New Trailer Now Live

as much as this movie is raping my childhood, I need to see it when it comes out.

what can I say, I like to watch train wrecks :lol:
 
It's not saying much, but the game will probably be better than the movie.

This seems odd. It's a game based on a (awful) movie which is based on a manga/anime that has already received (I'm sure) over a hundred video game counterparts.......... what's one more?
 
As a huge DB series fan, I considered getting a PSP just for that game, but then I was like, "I dont even want this in the first place". After the piece of crap that was Burst Limit, it's gonna take a lot to make me want to buy another DBZ game.
 
You can't be much of a Dragon Ball fan if you were considering buying a PSP just for the game based on the movie. Stick with Origins on the DS.

I was kidding ;) ... also IMO origins was only slightly above average compared to some other DB games (my favorite one being Budokai Tenkaichi 3)
 
You know what scares me? The in game avatars are actual photos. Now that screams of crap.....also, whats this I hear about spike? I thought piccolo was the bad guy............I mean, if we were gonna throw in obscure characters, why not make a musical number with King Cold (played by Tom Cruise, of course)?
 
I saw this last night and it sucked. Thank god I watched it off a video sharing site. Although it game me some good 4 in the morning insomnia laughs.

Yeah, where I'm at it's already been in and out of theaters. Didn't even notice or remember that it was playing.

Anyone actually see it in theaters? Any more noteworthy reviews from CAGs?
 
I saw it the weekend it was released cause nothing else better was playing in theaters. I personally thought it was an alright movie since I wasn't expecting much and the person I went with payed for the movie, but I'd see why people hate it.

The movie seems to be filmed for people with A.D.D. cause shit happens fast, one moment they're one place then they're somewhere else and suddenly Goku knows how to throw a fireball. They don't explain anything so for people who don't know anything about Dragonball, they won't know what the hell's going on.

The only things that bothered me were how bland/non-threatening Piccolo looks and
Goku's magic clothing that fixes itself after he turns back from changing into Oozaru
. It's hard to take a movie seriously when it's based on an anime with talking animals and dinosaurs that run around, it was a fun movie for me. Though almost every shot of the movie has cleavage in it, so you can't complain about that.
