Sweetness. From the mock-ups, looks like the top cover will be semi-gloss as well ala the iPods (4G and earlier)...will probably look pretty nice in hand, scratching issues however, is another issue. Kind of looks like the result of meshing an iPod, the original DS, and a bit of the old redesigned PSOne for some reason to me; in conclusion looks pretty nice but still not as sexy as the PSP overall, but with that said, the DS Lite looks like it will be getting a new client in their handheld consumer camp.
Although I do feel for those who just bought it and are upset, it's just like buying any piece of tech nowadays I suppose, outdated 5 minutes after checkout, but I have to admit it does succeed in doing what Nintendo probably is launching it for...people on the fence about buying a handheld sys and/or people deciding between which sys, heck, it's got me excited to the point where I'm probably going to be buying/trading for DS games I want now, even though I'll have no system for like what, 6+ months? Sigh...more money out the window...(that DS money printer photo is lol great btw, ahem, right on the money, pardon the pun)
