E3 2009 - MS Press Briefing - What Did You Think?

This looks incredibly cool....but I get the feeling this is going to end up happening with the NEXT Xbox and not the 360, ultimately.

Pretty incredible looking.

as impressive as this project natal sounds, I don't see myself doing all the jumping and moving around. I guess I am not a big fan of the motion controls etc, but I am interested in the voice recognition, and using my hands to navigate the menus and dashboard.

FULL BODY motions Do you guys know How serious that IS????

And as far as accuracy??? Its as accurate or more accurate than the WiiMote thats what I saw.

For people missing the video:
Theres a canvas. You say a color out loud, then move your body to splash the paint.

Official. NATAL is cash from everything they've shown

I have to admit, I honestly am interested in this new motion control. It has a lot of potential if it's market well enough.

It honestly doesnt matter if it works. Without being a standard pack-in, it wont get significant support. It'll get mostly supplementary support like the balance board or motion+

I LOL'ed at the elephant bit. I wonder how well the voice and facial recognition will work in actual use. Tech demos are always better.

fuck that. An A.I that can interact and recognize me. No thanks, I'd rather not relive my childhood nightmares. It's like a real life Tamagotchi.

Ok, this is fucking ridiculous. They won't be able to do all this shit. At least, not anytime in the next year or two.

fuck games on the way.
MS has set the standard for E3. I can't wait to see Sony attempt to come close to this -- that console is fading into the sunset, no doubt about it.
it's a great blu ray player so... yeah.
