FAQ:
How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 7:30am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?

Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

Hesitated and missed Bust A Groove 2. Oh well, it wasn't on my 'have to have' list.. none of those came in stock today, of course.
dang it
missed castlevania chronicles again
but finally got point blank 3
Am I doing something wrong? I type in Point Blank, Point Blank 2 or Point Blank 3 but I do not see these games in stock. Is the search word different?

how much was Bust A Groove 2?

got bust a groove 2, missed point blank 3. hope it comes complete.

for those who care, my suikoden 2 came in disc only. however, my tales of destiny 2 was complete.
Front Mission 3's on there for $5.99
I've had that on open order for a month and counting.

Not a bad update for a Monday.

if your eb giftcard does not have a pin number on the back, would they let you place an order with a credit card and then call them and ask them if you could use your gift card to pay for it?

Didnt work when I tried it. I was able to call a store and have them switch my card to a gift card and then give me the new number over the phone. It was a pain, but I have no EB with 200 miles.

WTF? Squaresoft made a racing game?

I'm in even though the 3 reviews on EB's site says it sucks, you just about can't go wrong for under $3 shipped.
Hmmm...I disagree, it's one of the worst racing games I've ever played. Luckily, it was a friend who collects racing game's copy, I didn't pay for it.

Square made the original Rad Racer.
Can anyone see or use the Store Availibility feature anymore?
Ask psiu ;)

Nah, I haven't seen it for a good week or two.

sorry to grovel, but i lost my discount card, can anyone help me out please? :)

How are EBGame's in-store prices compared to the online ones, I mean if I see it on their website will it be the same price if I were to pick it up at one of their stores? I know I should call them, but the store locator thing is gone for me too and I can't find the number right now. Thanks ahead.

In my experience, 99% of the time they're the same. The only difference I've seen is if its one of those random temporary price drops online.

they are pretty much the same. we all like eb on-line though, since there's 25% off on everything after the CAG15 code (15%) and the EB Edge card (10%.)

Got my Carnage Heart and Legend of Legia today...Disk Only and crappy. Back they go! Anyone know if Thousand Arms was in today?

You might want to check Gamestop for Legend of Legia. Mine had a mint copy for $9.99 - I passed though. It looks like one of those old PSOne RPGs that were good for its time because there werent many great RPGs out yet in 3D.

Driving Emotion Type-S is one of those games that I wouldent buy, even for $2.99 BC. That money can be better spent on something fattening, such as something at Burger King. I'd rather get a tasty burger that some crappy racing game :D

I think its lame that EB got rid of the store locator.

well those 15 games i posted about a few pages back came in, and 3/15 (20%) were complete, namely cool boarders, bio freaks, and killing zone. all the disc only did indeed come in perfect cases, so i'll swap those out with some of my collection. the rest i'll probably never play, but throw in on a massive disc only ebay auction that will hopefully cover their $.74-$1.49 costs.

20% is much better than my all-time ratio. Anybody else keep track of their success?
Yawnnnnnnnnnnn
Big yawn, hopefully an early update. I need to study for my physics exam.

Up until about six months ago, it was a solid 50%.

In the last six months, it's about 20%. Less, if you consider that I've gotten several games with only the manuals, and no artwork.

Also, I've received just over 10% of my games in the last six months defective (two of these discs were actually cracked). I got tired of taking them back to the store, so I finally just started throwing them in the trash (these are all $2 or less titles).

Prior to this, I had probably 2-3% of my games arrive defective.

My completion precent is around 10%. I've only gotten 1 title complete and the rest were cart only or disc only in the crappy cases.

My lone complete game is Toy Commander.
