Here's the new thread. If there are any other links that you would like added or removed (sorted by system, rare games, etc), let me know and I'll take care of it as I have time. FAQ:
How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 7:30am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

I got my Project Horned Owl and the generic light gun I ordered today. Surprisingly the generic $7.99 light gun ended up being a Guncon 1. Pretty cool.

Plus if you want Evolution you can buy Evolution Worlds on Gamecube and it's an updated version of both 1 and 2. Which, to put it lightly, both suck.

I only ever played this on the GBC too without a problem, so maybe the save problem only surfaces on GBAs?

Does Project:Horned Owl work with the Guncon? I ordered that game too but didn't think it worked with Guncon.
 
I overslept a little (don't use an alarm) we were watching 40 year old virgin until late . . .

Anyway, blurry eyed I watched Act Raiser 2 slip away at the final stage . . . then lost Earthworm Jim 2 in checkout . . . bummer.

I thought that at first but I pulled out the ol' GBC and gave it a go and it still had the same problems. It's not with the save function itself (which works quite fine, thankfully!) but it's mostly a combination of factors that results in the game being unable to save unless you turn off your GBC or whatnot. It's really odd and, obviously, frustrating if it happens, but it doesn't make the game not worth it for $2.99 b/c!
 
Weird, my order from yesterday (Thur.) arrived via 1 day UPS today (Fri.) . . . was free shipping (checked invoice). I have older orders I'm waiting on.

Well, if there is one today, I hope its some time in the next 15-20ish minutes, before I go out into "Hell on Earth" with my fiance. Crazy idea of finishing Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve. Heres hoping we're out there early enough to miss the mad morning rush and to miss the insane asylum letting loose at about 10.

As for an update happening, 3rd time could be a charm, lets hope its a charm for us and not EB. Though I am hoping for a Valkyrie Profile to show up and fall into my lap, that would make today go by a little better.

I live pretty close to a mall (Fox Valley, Aurora, IL), and getting home from work last night was the bitch of a bitch goddess. I made the mistake of going into the Walmart parking lot to avoid the traffic jam I was in. It did not help. I went to the Goodwill to pass time looking at crap. There was a lady next to me who, while looking through cassettes and VHS tapes, kept saying to some guy, "I wish I had some gloves, because....." Because, filling in the blanks, she wanted to look, but she didn't want to touch.

Back to thread-topic, when Saturday updates happen, what time do they normally occur? Regular, or decaf?

yep, this happened to me with disgaea. had it on hold, came a couple of hours later and guy told me it was sold. and yes he got his face chewed off by me.
 
There has been an update and VP was in stock . . . just for the fuck of it I decided to order it and it got plucked from my order at the very last second . . . whew! I don't need a scratched up overpriced disc!
 
i found a complete Irritating Stick at gamestop yesterday, as well as a complete Gallop Racer. i heard a lot of hullaballoo about IS i few months ago on the update thread. anyway, it was $3, and GR was $12.
