Here's the new thread. If there are any other links that you would like added or removed (sorted by system, rare games, etc), let me know and I'll take care of it as I have time. Everything else is included from the previous OP. N64 used link is here now, Playstation only shows used items, and DS (new and used) links are added.

FAQ:
How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 7:30am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

in other news, did anyone see the amazing boxing day deals canadians are getting at amazon.ca? crap like Game Boy Micros for $70CDN, NHL 2K6 (XBOX) for $11.99CDN, MK: Shaolin Monks for $13.99CDN, and FIFA Soccer (PSP) for $8.99CDN. those prices are insane and on par with the TRU sale.

yeah they are open. all stores are usually open the day after xmas to cash in on holiday gift money. but yeah i guess it's a possibility that there won't be an update because of the holiday.

wow those are some really good prices. especially considering it's CDN money.

i didn't witness it, but I did happen to check the preowned DS games last night, and there is 1 more now than there was then...

I left my PC with SNES stock open overnight (I've been holiday oversleeping these days . . . I don't teach again until Jan. 17th). Anyway it said 50 and now says 52 . . . I'd say that's an update.

It was exactly the same this time last year . . . really, really, really crappy.

It is going to take awhile for EB to reload. People really sacked the stores.

My last order came in today (Unless I can find a copy of MvC2). Has anyone else's older titles come caked in white powder? I assume it must be resurfacing residue.
 
I got my most recent order in:

Thousand Arms : both discs resurfaced, back insert only, case broken

Arc The Lad Collection : Most of the discs resurfaced, no inserts/manual etc, case broken.

I'm definitely returning Thousand Arms.
 
I haven't had any trouble with the resurfaced disc that they've sent me. Just get a damp cloth and wipe the residue/dust off.

They've probably been doing this for the longest time (at least since summer). It just seems they're more sloppy now.

Depends. If its a well done professional job, you and the system won't be able to tell. If its you doing with a Game Doctor (or something akin to it), there's a good chance it won't play on some consoles. I had a sorta scratched up copy of PSO on Xbox and I used the Game Doctor on it. Needless to say, it was an awfully long week waiting for Gamestop.com to send me out another copy.

same with arc the lad.... its going back one of these days cause Disc only isnt worth 31 bucks... when i was able to find a complete mint for 29.99 at gamestop
 
Got my copy of Thousand Arms in the mail today, complete and in good condition. It's one of the few games I ordered that I really cared if it came complete or not :D

You can order the Ogre Battle case from Atlus, they're sold out of the manual though.

My Thousand Arms came the same way...Disk Only, Back Insert, case broken. I can get the inserts from Atlus, so that isn't bad. Just need to find a manual...

Try emailing them to see if they have a manual. I just sent $5.00 (3 for the manual and 2 for the inserts) for Ogre Battle, and they sent me both! Doesn't always work though (Hoshigami). But they'll email you and ask you to pick something else. I was able to get the SMT: DDS2 soundtrack that way!
