omfg that sux so fucking bad
That distribution center is like 45 min from me. It has to be where my games have been coming from.
And they also, always honor their prices. They honored their Donkey Konga 2 mix-up and also Trauma Center for $19.99. :D
exactly, GS doesnt do that shit. Iremember the coloseum fiasco. They cancelled orders hours before it shipped

you don't like a magazine that has B2G1 free available for almost 2 months? personally, GI's my favorite mag. they thoroughly cover the gaming industry, more so than EGM and Gamepro. i am glad EB doesn't include their mag with the card, because after the first time i subscibed to GMR (do they print this anymore?) i was like "never again."
Oh, the coupon is fantastic, no doubt about it, but I never really cared for GI. I felt their Letters section was juvenile, most of their content, while certainly welcomed as far as news is concerned, is also akin to being a step above GamePro as far as "humor" matters, and I don't agree with most of the reviews they give to games [I don't mean any offense, I just don't like the magazine myself although I do admire their specials and their exclusives]. I think what it comes down to is that I tend to buy magazines nowadays for the reviews, and I'll only pick up magazines that more or less have reviews that sort of touch upon what I find to be important aspects of games. It's the same with movies and the like, you go with what works for you. I used to like GMR mostly for their special monthly features, such as their six-page spread on SHMUPs that, really, few other magazines focus on nowadays but even there their reviews were hit or miss most of the time.

Overall I tend to read Play, GamesTM (love the Classics section, it's godly even though I don't tend to buy European gaming mags), Game Developer (as well as Gamasutra.com), and Retro Gamer for the most part nowadays and tend to stick with Magic Box, RPGFan, NCSX, Lost Garden and a few other websites and blogs for upcoming game info, development, game construction, things like that.

Woo, tangent.

I've been watching for Ninja Gaiden Black . . . was tempted to buy it for $20 at BB. But the $20 here is with credit :)

I also ordered Hyperzone for SNES . . . anyone ever play it? I'm sure it sucks but it was .75 ac
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/119169.asp

I bought Ninja Warriors SNES for $2 at Goodwill yesterday . . . how come there are so many SNES games that I don't remember? I guess I sidestepped the crap when it was new.

love to know who paid 39.99 for a disc only Lunar

lost

monster rancer 2 gba and dragon valor psx from cart

hell i sell you a complete LOM ps1 for 29.99 shipped : )

No Ultimate Muscle for me. There were 2, quickly added to cart, checked out, gone. Oh well. I only wanted it to see what it's like, anyway. The $9.99 pre-coup price was right.
exactly, GS doesnt do that shit. Iremember the coloseum fiasco. They cancelled orders hours before it shipped

Christ, then I bit on Mana . . . but if it is incomplete, its going back.

The Diablo I ordered 3 weeks ago came complete and nearly mint.
I was soo psyched when I got home last night, and ripped open my bubbelmailer to find a complete and nearly mint copy of Metal Slug X. The case was cracked, but thats already been replaced, and everything else was in excellent condition! :D

Congrats!

You never know . . . I've had it go both ways.

I almost crapped when my minty complete copy of Klonoa PS1 arrived 6 months ago.

I'm so sorry everyone - I gave in and horded all 6 copies of this gaming gem:
I just couldn't stand the though of it falling into the wrong hands!!!
Barbie Race and Ride

Honestly though, if you don't own the following game, buy it now.
Such a great action-adventure title by Rare that was sorely underappreciated:
Jet Force Gemeni (N64) $4.99 b/c
Gamerankings.com - 81% - Overall from 39 reviews.
Gamespot.com 8.8 / 10 - Great score from a tough review site.

Good buy. I rented that game back in the mid 90's and spent a long time afterward trying to find a copy to purchase. I finally managed to track one down last year.

I really liked the combos/special moves in that game. It was kind of easy, though.

The first comment on the barbie game is wierd

I LOVED THIS GAME!!!!
I bought this game like a couple days ago, right before my big hamster photo shoot, i love it..............played it like 5 hours straight non-stop, the horses look so real, i cant believe they havent made a sequal to the game yet if they do they should put it on the 360,

Love, Chauncy Vaitor
big hamster photo shoot? what the hell? maybe its one of those things girls do that men dont know about? I could hear my gf now "What you never had a big hamster shoot". Sounds a bit pornstarish.

thanks for the Lunar Legend post.. it'll make a great gift for my lunar fanatic girlfriend. EDIT: i guess i got the last one.. it was about 12 bucks after coupons and tax.

ya know lunar legend's like a crappy version of the CD and PSX one, minus the cutscenes. i thought it was an all new game when i bought it.

I just got this yesterday and I encountered a problem.

The controls for player one are all messed up and I cant change them. I can change them in the options screen no problem, but as soon as I actually go start a match of any kind they are all screwed up. If I pause and go to change the controller buttons, its greyed out and I cant access it 2/3'rds of the attack buttons are not even mapped.
This glitch makes the game completely unplayable. Has anyone encountered this problem? Its not the end of the world, cos I have the game for the PS2, but I bought this Exhibition disc specifically for this game!

Anyone have thoughts on Pitfall: Mayan Adventure or Zoop for SNES? I was curious about those too. I played a demo of Zoop back in the day and it seemed kind of fun.

I kinda remember Pitfall:MA being pretty good, but I havent played it in years. A fun scrolling platformer. I also remember it having really good graphics, at least it did in the 16 bit days. And iirc the original Pitfall game is a hidden unlockable.

Awesome choices!

No, I had the same problem when I loaded up the game as well. If I recall correctly, it depends upon the choices you make right before you start the game. I think you can choose between EO and some other option and those seem to be important since they determine the button layout. One will be very funky (and overly simplistic since the D-Pad movement will determine supers and specials) and the other will be the typical button mapping.

I've only experimented with the "demo" for a little bit though so I could be off, but I think one of the modes is just meant to be simple while the other one is supposed to be standard (or the way you set it up in Options). A bit disconcerting, to say the least.

i think they have B3G1 free in store. about a discount of 8% worse than B2G1 free.

btw, is it just me or is it much easier to type in store than B&M? you have to like reach for the 7 to type it.
That is a good price. I got mine for about that on a trade-in. Definitely need to play that one more.
I bought my Panzer Dragoon Orta for that price Brand New at one of the first KB Clearances. The best $10 I ever spent.

I need some help....

Every so often someone will say "ebgames.com has # of a game in stock". My question is, how do they know that? Is there some way of checking the inventory of ebgames.com online?

you jsut add an insane ammount of whatever the item is and it will correct it to how many are in stock...on a related note, I bought a ps1 game as a filler for an order, and it was the worst condition i've ever received. It had rental stickers all over it from two fucking stores.
