Of course there is nothing new over the weekend, but I want to point out that they do have some SNES accessories in stock (not always available).

I picked up an extra (working) SNES deck at a rummage sale about a month ago. Since it had no hookups and they knew nothing about it, they let me have it for free :)

Anyway, I ordered a power supply, AV hookup (under N64), and controllers (spending a little over $10 in EB credit). I'll dump it off soon on ebay with some extra games and maybe pickup $40 for it.

You can check online what items are available at which stores? I thought that was Gamestop?

It will pop up on the right side when you look at the item, it only shows up to three stores, and not the actual inventory. So if you look at a popular new item, it will most likely show your nearest three stores. Or it'll have a place for you to put in your zipcode, I don't recall how it gets that info.
 
Can someone please explain what the term "warped" means when its relating to a game disc?

Probably it's all bent and not flat. How this would happen, I don't know. Washed and dried, perhaps.

Sol Divide is somewhat hard to find but I've never really found it all that rare. It's somewhat of a mediocre shooter with a fantasy theme. If you love shooters it's certainly worth a shot or two just because but, otherwise, most people can pass it up and not be missing anything important.

It also received a fairly poor translation, both in-game and in-manual as well, making it just all the more enjoyable. You would think that one person could just proofread a small manual before it goes to print but...guess not. I don't remember if this was an XS Games publishing job but, if it was, I wouldn't be too shocked. The garbage they pulled on "Mobile Light Force" and "Mobile Light Force 2" (Gunbird and Shikigami no Shiro, respectively) was complete ass.

Yeah usually if it has your zipcode saved, it'll show the three nearest stores and say "In stock as of 8am, please call store to confirm availability". It's not as flexible as the Gamestop locator, but it's better than nothing.
 
ok it's been posted to the point i had to drop the bomb on SMT: Nocturne. cheapest i'll ever get it unless eb has another B2G1 on used games.

I don't care for the B2G1 type deal because I have too much trouble finding 3 comparable-price games.

I like Sol Divide.. its easy.. but fun.. and very pickup and playable.. definately what appeals to me the most in games like it. fun. definately for the

I'm glad I posted the Nocturne then since you guys got it too (there were only 4 left when I got mine). Sure I could have waited untill the B2G1 deal, but the chances of it being in are slim...

I had to walk down to my local EB to buy a giftcard WITH the one I had, so I could use it online :lol: I thought for sure it would be gone before I got back here lol...
 
Received a complete Vanguard Bandits in great shape today. Even included the Lunar demo. A little bit of the bottom of the case chipped off, but still happy with the condition.

Also got Tales of Destiny II complete, excellent condition. Thrilled about this, as its the first copy of this game I've been able to get ahold of.

Valkyrie Profile came disc only, however.

Sucks about VP (although expected), but all things considered, that was a great grab.

Saturday I got my TODII and that also was complete, almost brand new! I am very pleased...however, I picked up San Francisco Rush 2049, Crazy Taxi 2, and Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast, and they were a mess! Ogre Battle was disk only but I want to contact Atlus about relpacement cover art and manual. Can someone hook me up with the website again? Thanks!
 
Missed FFII for probably the fifth consecutive day... Brigandine stayed in a stock a lot longer than I thought it would. Must have had more than just one copy.
