Added the Securom 3rd party DRM to my post.
why in the world publisher still have DRM like these in their old games? don't they get tired of paying for them DRM license, knowing that their damn game already got cracked long time ago and any rabid fans who'd buy them along with the DRM ALREADY BOUGHT THEM?

It's Atari. They never removed DRM from Riddick: Dark Athena (except for GOG version) + TDU2. God knows what they're thinking - it's not like TDU2 is a brand new game and retails at $60 MSRP anymore. What's there to protect anymore?

TBH - this garbage should've never ever been enabled for Steam-version of any game. PERIOD. Steam is fine as DRM itself in Steam-versions.

TDU2's online servers ain't always up, either - another problem. TDU2 actually has an offline mode - so to preserve that, they really should lose the Securom crap.

I was trying to convince Amazon Tony back when he was around to tell Atari to get rid of the Securom DRM crap on TDU2, since the online servers weren't always up even back when he was around + they were still selling this game on sale. I'm surprised they (Amazon) didn't have even a similar incident there for TDU2 like they did w/ Risen 1 and basically had to pull the game until the DRM got removed b/c people couldn't get Risen 1 activated online to even boot the damn thing up b/c its activation servers weren't always on - so people were bothering customer support and wanting either a refund or a fix. At least Deep Silver saw some freaking reason.

Eden Games, the developer of this game (and Alone in the Dark 2008), was closed down by Atari in 2011. So they won't remove the DRM on both... because there's nobody left to remove it. They don't want to spend money on these. Why bother? It's not like they'll get their money back.

Re-BundleStars is at it again.

It looks as though, starting with this one, they are going to release one new bundle per day for the next 5 days. Each starts at $2.49, with a price increase after 48 hours.

I can't say that I have high hopes. It seems like the last time they did something similar it was mostly re-hashed bundle games. However, they do accidentally get a few of them right from time to time, so it'll be worth keeping an eye on.

That is good. Except it's a fighting game and WB so there will be a deluxe all DLC included edition that will hit $7.50 if not lower by this time next year. I think I can hold out till then.
If WB didn't pump out so much DLC.. I'd be buying more of their games at higher prices, so thx for that WB.

Be aware the PC port of mortal kombat X is pretty awful - frame rate issues, memory leaks, bad lag online, bad netcode, savefile corruption, and many more problems -  nethersoft has changed the developer for making patches (nethersoft made the PS4/Xbone version but not the PC version, like rocksteady and batman) so who knows how long it will take for them to fix it up.

You linked the wrong bundle. This is the correct link.

I have 3/10 games from this bundle. The games don't look too bad, but I'd probably only ever play Kidnapped.

It's not a bad bundle, but most of the games are pretty cheap on Steam. If you're only interested in a couple of games it'd probably be cheaper to wait for a Steam sale. I'm mostly interested in Abandoned.

I didn't even get the Kidnapped game, despite following and retweeting Deceptive Games.

They didn't even respond to my tweet inquiring about the issue. They're really living up to their name, alright.

Something about Early Access games being bundled is generally unsettling. To me, it really feels like the odds of a good finished product being released just goes down the drain, if the game is already being bundled. Not counting something like Prison Architect, though.
