Favorite Star Trek movie?
Nobody liked when kirk said "I NEED MY PAIN!"?
people who enjoy that movie need to be shot with a phaser set to kill :p
Damn it, I really liked Nemesis, much more so than Insurrection.

Can y'all explain why you didn't like it? Just curious.
Just read this.
T
-The lack of other federation ships helping out in a big space battle
I agree with that, but the battle was in Romulan space. If that Federation fleet had entered Romulan space it would have been an act of war.
Just read this.

i forgot about that site, lol funny as always.

uh not if the romulans asked for help. do you think that star fleet would sit and watch from a distance while there flagship gets the beatdown?

Didn't the Romulans only ask for the Enterprise to come? Despite the fact that the Romulans most likely wouldn't have started a war if the fleet came to help, I don't think the Federation was going to risk a war because of one ship.
Besides, Janeway is an Admrial. Does that give you much hope for the intelligence of the rest of the Starfleet decision makers?;)

uh yea they would risk a war if the romulans destroyed there flagship. I would be pretty pissed if my flag ship and famous name ship got blown up by my enemy who tricked it into crossing the border under the flag of peace.

looks like Kahn and the borg are neck in neck with this poll. The only reason why I didn't pick First Contact was because Voyager abused and overused them to death making Voyager the only ship in the federation to escape assimilation or destruction at the hands of the borg.

Don't forget that Nemesis takes place a few years after DS9 and First Contact. Starfleet lost a lot of ships fighting the Dominion and the Borg, and risking another full scale war isn't on the top of their to do list. ;)
And I wouldn't be surprised if they had a lot of resources tied up in occupying Cardassian territories, which would make another war even more difficult.
That's easy,

-The car chase scene
I thought that scene was pretty cool even if the way it ended was far-fetched (even for a sci-fi movie).

I don't think it was ever possible to live up to First Contact. That bar was set so high that other films were doomed to be less popular. The main problem I have is that it tied up loose ends that didn't need tying IMO. The situation with Data, Riker and Troi (nice, but not really necessary)...

I think an ideal final TNG movie would have involved Q in some way, but the character was watered down so much when they used him in Voyager. Not to mention that they have pretty much done all the cool storylines with that they probably could think of. I would have loved if the final movie could have also gotten back to the roots of Star Trek, which is exploration. For example, Data is supposedly the only known android in existence. Maybe they could have done a movie where they find an unknown planet with a race of androids and maybe when they see Data they see him as some sort of artifical deity?

that i agree on too. The federation (mostly star fleet) took a heavy beating during the war and with the borg. It would have been more intresting if they said, instead "You want us to send our flagship, the enterprise to where?...nah we will send our vulcan ambassidors instead...ever heard of a guy name Mr. Spock, hes on your planet...somewhere, just check the caves"
Is it just me or does Worf really get the shit end of the stick in all the movies?
worf gets only 1 cool moment/scene in the movies

Generatons: cant think of any
First Contact: Assimilate THIS!
Insurrection: The Klingon Zit
Nemesis: Erving Berlin :p

 He makes them count though. Since he is the most prolific character in Star Trek I guess it is alright. He's probably my favorite Starfleet character.

Yup. Only character to star in two series and the movies (O'Brien isn't in any movies TMK).

C'mon DS9 movie...I want more Avery Brooks. Do it now before everyone gets too old.

Agreed.

Avery Brooks is awesome. Man, I am going to turn to SpikeTV and watch DS9 in about 30 minutes.

You should check out Spencer: for Hire if you haven't already.

Easy choice: TWOK

Khan: "Kirk...Kirk, you're still alive, my old friend."
Kirk: "Still, 'old friend'! You've managed to kill just about everyone else,
but like a poor marksman, you keep missing the target!"

your forgetting ODO!!!!!!!!!

he was my favorite DS9 Character.......

The Klingon bird of prey in Star Trek III had a flux capacitor.

Oh, and I love they way they time travelled in TVH; slingshotting around the sun. WTF? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
your forgetting ODO!!!!!!!!!

Odo is cool but I don't think he isn't a part of Starfleet. For Non-Starfleet my favorites are General Martok, Odo, Quark, Garak, Q, Weyoun. No particular order.

I am probably one of the only people who preferred Dr. Pulaski to Dr. Crusher. I liked how Pulaski and Picard had their little conflicts at times. Beverly seemed very annoying to me.

true, I enjoyed Gul Dukat, Q, Martok, Galron, Garak and Weyoun. Pulaski started to grow on me and she could have been Picard's future wife but after one season, poof shes gone..and only 1 or 2 mentions of her afterwards.

The TOS movies didn't rely on being scienticifly acturate, just good story telling and a little fun to boot. You want technical, watch TNG, DS9, and Voyager.

MILF...

naw, i'm not down.

but i'd hit it anyways, just to see Wesley's face when he came in.

like when Stiffler walked in when Flinch was banging his mom on the pool table?

First Contact easy, seeing just how crazy Picard becomes when it came to the borg was one of the best highlights of the movie. His rant about just why he won't blow up the Enterprise is easily the coolest moment he has had in the entire franchise.

Spot rules all!!

Felis catus is your taxonomic nomenclature,
an endothermic quadruped, carnivorous by nature.
Your visual, olfactory, and auditory senses
contribute to your hunting skills, and natural defenses.

I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations,
a singular development of cat communications
that obviates your basic hedonistic predilection
for a rhythmic stroking of your fur, to demonstrate affection.

A tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents;
you would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance.
And when not being utilized to aide in locomotion,
it often serves to illustrate the state of your emotion.

O Spot, the complex levels of behaviour you display
connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array.
And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend,
I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend.
