your tactics advance is still way too high.

people can buy a complete copy from warehousedeals for $12.99 with box and manual, even the little baggy.

http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy...2L77EE7U53NWQ&s=generic&qid=1285608931&sr=1-1

and you should stop listing things that aren't collectibles as collectible. unless the game is actually something that has that kind of value, you should stop overselling and actually look at what the prices are in the used, since that's what those games are.

trying to overpromise and oversell on Amazon is a bad idea, especially with warehousedeals right around the corner, most of those games you have listed can be found complete with box and manuals and so on for much cheaper.

but the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is complete overpriced and you should really do some more research on that.
I think it depends on how long he can sit on it. I've seen warehousedeals come along and artificially depress the price of a game, and then when they run out of stock the market will recover. If it were me I'd split the difference and set it at $25 or so.

This is the same guy randomly spamming everyone's inbox with PMs about his Amazon store?

Can we stop this garbage?

EDIT: Since I've been asked, yes he has been PMing inboxes randomly. I have nothing on my want list that remotely matches what he is selling:

i to got this exact same message from this user.

OP get the fuck off this site with that spamming. If you're that impatient pawn your games....Oh that is right you won't get shit because your prices are based on fanboyism market.

I understand where you want the prices you want because Amazon takes such a heavy cut from the seller. THAT is why everyone thinks your prices are high, because everything on Amazon is usually several bucks more expensive then ebay which is several bucks more expensive then you expect people to sell at on CAG.

Well, I'm competing with the other sellers on Amazon and given the condition my items are in and the free upgrade to USPS Priority Mail shipping, I was hoping people who find my item prices fair. Some items include extra things.

And yes, Amazon does take a chunk for each sale, but it's sooo much better than eBay + PayPal fees which were ridiculous if you ask me.

So what's your explanation for randomly spamming people private messages to try and get them to pay for your glorified overpriced items?

Just tried to see if anyone might be interested but haven't checked this thread. That's all. Not forcing anyone to buy anything. I just asked.

>_>

We might be coming off harsh, but if you bump your thread the 3 times a day during decent surfing hours your list will be seen. If people are interested they'll eventually PM you. I know because I am the top viewed TL when DV8MAD isn't doing a lowball sale.:p I've also had the occasional CAG message me because I had an item on my want list that they had to offer up. Generally speaking you should limit your random PM's to CAG's IMHO. Obviously you're not forcing anything on the CAG's you're contacting, but it can be construded as pushy and spamming.

I am not saying Amazon is worthless, just that the giant chunk it costs you to sell there means Amazon seller prices are usually inflated and do not represent the market. It is cool to sell stuff at Amazon, but what you do is have your inflated Amazon prices and then sell stuff here cheaper because no one gets a cut here. So for instance lets say you post a game for sale on Amazon for $50 and it says Amazon takes a $12 fee, that means when you post it at CAG you match that $12. No one here would be annoyed with you if you would first off not spam inboxes and second have prices like that. I sell at Amazon and here as do many others...its just expected that when you try and sell here you mark down your prices from Amazon because Amazon is no longer taking a cut of your sale.

Ok~

Well I'm just trying really hard these days, and yea I am desperate since I don't have a job, no insurance, no unemployment checks, and I have things to pay like student loans and the credit card each month.

I haven't even been able to afford to buy 1 single video game or 1 single anything hobby/entertainment wise for a while now. Yea.

I can't even seem to get a part-time cashier job. I mean that'd suck but on the flip side, it's better than my current $0 an hour... >_>

I just added:

Star Ocean First Departure (PSP)
Star Ocean Second Evolution (PSP)
Star Ocean Til the End of Time (PS2)
Star Ocean The Last Hope International (PS3)

All them are like new, complete, and non Greatest Hits.

all the star ocean listings were okay up until you get to Til the End of Time. What were you even thinking when you listed it for that price?

This is a good point in part; if you're reaching the end of a negotiation and the buyer isn't a douchebag, sure why not let them get an item for what you'd clear if it makes the sale? However, I wouldn't advise matching that $12 to start out with because that gives the buyer room to try and haggle you down another 20% or so.

On the point of Amazon's prices being inflated though, I'd have to disagree. Unless the demand is really strong for an item, there's a lot of games that fall way below Gamestop prices. Your competition ranges from every Joe Shmoe who wants to get a buck more than Trade-in Value to people who list stuff so low they can't possibly make any money. If I charge $11 + 3.99 shipping for a game, that means a physical storefront could get away with charging $15, maybe a little more if they accept returns and get a customer "owned by the company store" due to trade-in credit.

All good points, but I need your help to figure out the $45 Star Ocean: Til the End of Time.

It's quite a mystery my dear Watson.

Yeah, that one doesn't have a chance in hell; I'd think that listing it at twenty would take a fair amount of guts, spit in the wind courage and all that. Anyhow, isn't the Greatest Hits version the Director's Cut (which other than the color you'd think would eventually become more desirable)?

The Non Greatest Hits/black label is rare and sought out for. (pretty much no seller indicates it; if they do their price is way higher than mine)
The game itself is new (minus me opening it).
The cardboard/paper sleeve case thing is still included (not every seller has it)
The game is being shipped out USPS Priority Mail at no extra charge.
I have reliability and honesty in all things I sell.
I communicate extremely quickly and frequently to emails, IMs, PMs, message board posting

The "Director's Cut" is the North American version.

Both the black label and Greatest Hits version of the North American version of this game are the Director's Cut.

I love your description for Star Ocean: The Last Hope International for the PS3:

"This is for the Non Greatest Hits/black label Star Ocean The Last Hope International."

This is despite the fact that there is no Greatest Hits edition of the game.

The same goes for your listing on Neo Geo Battle Coliseum for the PS2:

"This is for a like new, complete, non Greatest Hits NeoGeo Battle Coliseum. Most sellers only sell the Greatest Hits version and or fail to tell you what version you're getting with the excuse of the UPC code being the same. Those sellers are obviously selling for a business whereas I am selling because of financial need."

LOL, I'm sure they're selling the imaginary Greatest Hits edition that was never released.

Good luck otherwise though.

Okay, I wasn't sure about that. Still somebody could get a sealed game for the same price as what you're asking for an open one?
