You're not giving anyone any deals thus the reason you're not selling. Seriously 35.97 for Star Ocean? Plus the external HDD why buy your when I can get a 500gb external for almost the same price.

I'm not going to sell it for any less than that. The game itself is practically new since I never used it. I only opened it. It's the black label version, has the card board thing, and i'm including a brand new sony 8mb memory card

The game itself is selling for much higher on Amazon. Yes, I know people are selling it dirty cheap on ebay and whatnot, but if they want a quality item and fast USPS Priority Mail shipping, they'll buy it from me.

And if you were talking about the PS3 one since i have both priced at 35.97, i have someone who emailed me that said that they might be interested but need a bit more money saved up.

Just wondering, why only a partial refund?

Because he failed to read that I do not ship the military addresses.

So you're going to penalize a person by missing a small description? You do realize that you're going to not get any business from him or people he knows now, correct? You could have kindly said "Oops, you must have missed that I don't ship to Military addresses! Is there any way to fix this problem?" but holding some of their money from them? I honestly hope it was only a dollar or so. That's not only shady, but makes me think about purchasing items from you in the future. That's a shitty tactic.

Think of it like this; a website accidentally lists a new game for $5.99 instead of $59.99 and you jump on it. You didn't read the fine print that says "if there is a pricing error, we will hold your money and put it towards the full actual price of the item." That is essentially the same thing.

You want to sell your items, and we all know that. We're not trying to call you out, but help you. Your prices are too high, you seem to not be willing to go out of your way to help somebody, and (now, with partial refunds) your service sounds a little bad. Plus, the extra money for expedited shipping (which actually buys you nothing) is wrong.

Yes. It was like $2 total.

How is that being shady? I call that not being able to read and a "restocking" fee. I can't have people waste my time like that as I try to be as fair, accurate, and as fast as possible.

Makes you think about purchasing from me in the future? Why is that?

1. As long as you pay.
2. As long as you have a domestic, continental 50 state address

I see no problem.

The Expedited Shipping helps me quite a bit. Why? Every "standard" shipping that goes out, I end up paying a little bit more to have it shipped USPS Priority Mail. I take that hit hoping that people would appreciate the fact that I'm trying to get people's orders to them as fast as possible.

Restocking fee? As in putting it back on your game shelf? It's better that it wasn't much, but it's not a good business tactic. I'm sorry you felt as though it was a waste of time, but 99 times out of 100, people appreciate a kind seller. It's how you keep bringing people back. Doing little annoying things will make people take their business elsewhere.

It's honestly just a shit thing to do to people. You need to be friendly and courteous to everybody buying from you. If you ran a book store, would you make people buy the magazine before looking at it? Again, it's the little things that bring people back.

Heh, this makes me laugh. I ran a lowball sale in the summer of '09. It was the first time I really started shipping stuff out, and I did my best with figuring out shipping prices, but when I allotted myself $xxx for shipping (by charging $3 + $1 for each item, minus the larger items) I ended up having to use around $80 of my profit to cover the rest of the shipping. I didn't go and charge the buyers more money after the fact, I just ate the costs and didn't let it get to me. I learned my lesson, but it wasn't a huge deal because I got PM when a box of comics was about $5 more to ship than the person paid for the comics plus shipping. It's like he got the comics free and paid a discount on shipping. People appreciate that more than charging them extra to get it out a day quicker. If you shipped same day, that's different.

"You need to be friendly and courteous to everybody buying from you."

I am. As long as you read the descriptions, communicate back with me through the emails I send, and pay.

I ALWAYS take a hit on shipping on every single item. I pay extra to have things shipped. The "shipping credit" that I receive from each order NEVER covers the shipping amount.

Finally someone with a regular address.[/QUOTE]

It's not like military addresses are challenging to ship to.

And I don't understand why you keep listing non-collectible games and items under collectible. Your Star Ocean on the PS3 would probably have sold by now if you would have just listed it under the normal used section which gets way more hits as most people don't even click on "collectible."

Also, charging a re-stocking fee for no reason is not cool. I could understand if it was a factory-sealed game that someone opened or something, but you didn't have to re-stock or even ship anything out. Seems like a BS move to me.

Well, after closing them and moving them to the "regular" used section, I have yet to see a single sale. Maybe tonight or tomorrow.

They're not going to sell immediately, especially on a random day in the middle of the week. I can expect your PS3 Star Ocean to probably sell soon since it's cheaper than the competing listings but the games you overprice on will take awhile to move if they do. The fact that your PS2 Star Ocean listing is on page three should tell you something. I don't see how bundling in a PS2 memory card and increasing the price on the game is going to make it sell quicker.

For now, I'm going to keep the prices as they are, and I'll adjust them every so often. I hope that I make a bunch of sales this week.
