...Lowered Star Ocean Til the End of Time (like new, complete, non greatest hits) to $40. That's the lowest I'll put this game at .
You're selling used items not even rare at practically the price it was when it first came out. :applause:
True. But the thing is, there are collectors out there who are willing to shell out the extra bucks for the Non Greatest Hits. Yes. It is actually important to some people. As such there are other sellers on Amazon that have listed a used copy at much much higher price than what I am asking, and I would say that they're selling the non Greatest Hits, but hoping that if someone sees a higher price then maybe it'll be a rarer version or something.

Hence I feel like I'm being reasonable.

I mean if you want it and will definitely buy it from me, I may be open to giving you a slight refund after you buy the item from me as a "discount".

One that has the slipcase in great condition didn't sell for $10. One that has the slipcase in excellent condition sold for $19 with free shipping. A sealed copy sold for $33 shipped. I think you over-price stuff and then continually drop it until it's low enough for somebody to actually be willing to pay the price you're asking.
So I guess I could lower it to like $35.
That's still more than a sealed copy sold for. You have to weigh how much you want to sell an item with how much you're willing to get. If you don't care that it might stay up for months and months, then keep it high. If you need it gone, you're going to have to LOSE MONEY. That's life. Why do you think people hold lowball sales?

If you want a good idea of what people are realistically willing to pay, watch this item:
The problem is, my "market" is Amazon.com and not eBay.com.
Regardless, people could go to eBay and buy a copy in the same/near the same condition of yours for a bit cheaper and be reassured with the "eBay we'll screw the seller" clause and most likely come out happy. The expedited shipping you promote is a little ridiculous (you will ship out the next day if people pay more? Why can't you do that anyways?) but I guess your methods have kind of worked in the past. You do have some good stuff, I will say that, but you just seem to over price your stuff all the time. You should ask people what they're willing to pay and try to figure your price from there.

The reason why I only offer next business day shipping for Expedited is because it takes a bit for Amazon funds to be received into my debit account and I am unemployed at the moment so I do need the money to be able to buy shipping labels without going broke even further. Also, for serious collectors, they're going to want to get the games faster so if they do, they'll pay a few bucks more and get it mailed out next business day.

I know people could go on eBay, but eBay has a reputation for having a lot of scams, fakes, and not 100% as describe. Yes there is that seller will get screwed if buyer not happy thing, but I think people would want to skip that possibility and go with Amazon, and with a good seller such as myself.

A reason why I price my items a bit above others is because:

a. i offer fast communication. and if you request pictures of the actual item, i offer it if you give me an email address to email it to
b. i offer usps priority mail with standard shipping (it costs me a little bit more to ship it out) but i offer expedited as a means for me to get a dollar or 2 more (even out the shipping costs) and for the buyer to receive it sooner
c. my items are 100% as described

1. Amazon contains a "Charge When Ship" system, which means the money goes into your account once you confirm shipment.

2. You do have misleading or false descriptions on items, such as saying that you have some rare black label edition and listing it under collectible when, in reality, all versions are black label (example: Star Ocean on PS3 and Neo Geo Battle on PS2.) Your listing for the PS3 Star Ocean claims this:

"Black Label/Non Greatest Hits in like new condition, complete condition. Pretty much no other seller here sells this rare version."

When, in fact, that is the only edition available. Seems like a pretty eBay thing to do, providing false info in an attempt to get more buyers.

Well, in case by the time someone shows up to buy it, and a Greatest Hits one did come out, I want the buyer to be 100% certain that it is a Non Greatest Hits/black label version.

=D

Buy shipping labels? Are you fucking kidding me? You ever heard of pen and paper? I don't proclaim to know how Amazon works but even if I choose to use USPS when I ebay, since I don't have a printer, it costs me a whole .80 more to add delivery confirmation if I take it to the post office instead of printing my labels from online and guess what, I don't PAY for shipping labels. That's retarded.

PM me your address and I'll send you a pen and some paper, no charge cuz I'm a nice guy. Then you can remove expedited shipping which only means I'll take my lazy NO JOB havin ass to the post office.

I know times are tough, but if you just want to charge more because you want to, just do it. Who really cares? Just don't make lame excuses about gouging for shipping.

Whoever is editing my comments and tags, I find that very immature and uncalled for. If it is a moderator or if someone hacked into my CAG account, please stop. It's very annoying.
Was Till the End of Time in the high twenties earlier this week, and now it's almost $40?
It wasn't selling so I decided to raise the price a little and add a brand new Sony 8MB Memory Card. I found it on my gaming shelf still sealed and whatnot. I must've bought an extra one but never used it.
