Final Fantasy XIII, Just Cause 2, and Supreme Commander 2 - Amazon DotD

Thanks Pennywise!
You're welcome Warlock (aka Julian Sands)!

Thats just messed up on Supreme Commander. It was around $16 the past couple of weeks now its a DOTD for $25??

As for a review of Supreme Commander I obviously don't like RTS, so it was boring to me. I'm actually waiting for the trade in value to go back up to $16. IDK the tutorial wasnt that great and the graphics were fair. Maybe if I spend some more time with it I may change my mind. Its not going to change your mind about the genre.

Tempted on Just Cause. Think i can wait until it's under $30.

Picked up FFXIII at that price at K-Mart back in May, and finally started playing it two weeks ago. Fifteen hours in, and i thoroughly despise it like no FF game before.

Amazon is having Square/enix games up today for the deal(s) of the day. Final Fantasy XIII $29.99 for both xbox 360 and ps3. Just Cause 2 is 36.99 for both consoles as well, and $26.99 for PC. Supreme Commander is $25.99 for xbox 360, though I have never heard anything about that game.

Stick with FF13 - I thought the battle system got really fun as it opened up, although I realize it's not for everybody. $30 is a really good price for this; I only wish Nier DoTD got to this level last week.

Just Cause 2 is a hell of a game with a HUGE game world(and alot of secrets). Although the flight controls in planes leave a little something to be desired. I slammed into the water at full throttle numerous times.

Other than that, I had a blast with the grappling gun and I literally used it to traverse entire mountains in the game.
Oh man, I was like "Oh ya! Just Cause 2 for $30!" then I saw the price not realizing only FF was $30.

Now I continue to play the waiting game.
Yeah, I didn't put any prices in the topic title but somehow it magically appeared there (mods?). ;)
can't believe FFXIII is cheaper than JC2, amazon am phail
FFXIII is the bigger, earlier release. It has been out longer and they most certainly have more copies they are trying to clear out.
Hmm...JC2 for the PS3 or the PC?
Guess it would depend on the aiming system. If it has auto-aim, I'd say PS3; otherwise PC all the way.
Just Cause 2 for $30 and under, please!
I want it but I am holding out for $20 or less. It should get there at some point.

To be fair, they came out a week apart.

Hmmm...wasn't FFXIII $10 with the Best Buy Rewards coupon last week, provided you could get it applied to the sales price? Like every other FF game, this will be sub $10 sooner rather than later.

Agreed, FF games tend to hit $19.99 fairly quick after release and usually stay there unless tied with another offer. JRPG's are no longer in demand as they used to be 5-10 years ago. WRPG's and shooters are now in vogue and the stereotypical JRPG plots haven't helped either.
