I believe they're earned through some achievements, much like the PS3 themes are earned through trophies. Best way to confirm this is to find out if those who have the gamerpics, have the game listed in their recently played list.
 
I saw the Xbox 360 Final Fantasy bundle... SO Pretty outside!!! Pictures Galore... But inside, NOT even a Final Fantasy 13 Xbox 360 skin to apply to your console

I used a bunch of accumulated GS credit to preorder one of these as well. I'm glad I never opened the Arcade I bought during the +$25 GC deal.
Thankfully I was able to snag my faceplate and console at midnight. The store even let me buy a copy of ME2 for $30 (which I'll be trading in for profit :lol:).
I really wish they had put a little more effort into this SE console. IMHO, the faceplate should have come with the set and not as a preorder bonus.
Nonetheless, it's a decent set if you were already in the market for a :360:.
 
Anyone gotten a chance to see the case of the game? I'm really curious as to how they packaged the 3 discs and to see if they did it with an environment-friendly case.

Same way they did Lost Odyssey, all three discs are stacked on one another.

Is one disc in a sleeve case? That would explain malfunctioning discs.
 
I saw this at Walmart today. Beautiful box. Someone else mentioned that the faceplate should've been included in the package and I wholeheartedly agree. If I didn't have a 360, I wouldn't be able to bring myself to buy the set at Walmart because I'd know that I'd be missing out on a part of the "package".

about an hour into the game. just got control of hope and vanilla.

god i hate vanillas voice. SO ANNOYING. trying so hard to be a little girl voice.

lakers on, will play some more. Loving it so far even though you just kind run in a straight line which is pretty lame. hopefully the visuals later are in better environments.
 
Ooh, I dig the troop avatar gear. I may have to pick up my 360 copy sooner rather than later. Planned on playing through the PS3 (which I am currently) version first and grabbing the 360 later. More I read about, and watch the roommate play his 360 version, makes we want to get it sooner for the code tho.
 
Damn you Amazon! or UPS! My console came damaged and Disc 3 was cracked in the center. O well, at least Amazon has an easy return process. Just gotta wait a day to play!, Ahhhhh, I can't wait that long!
 
I played about 3 hours last night. So far, the reviews seem to be spot on. I haven't done anything other than run in a straight line and fight battles so far. Supposedly the game opens up about 10 hours into it.

The good things: beautifully crafted world, gorgeous cut scenes, good story, great voice acting (other than Vanille), and the most fun battle system of any Final Fantasy.
