The only 5* I’ve got was a +def/-res Ephraim. I was pretty happy since I didn’t have him yet.

I love the daily free pulls. It helps me scratch the itch to pull, but not spend any orbs.

So, all I wanted from CYL1 was Ike and Lyn. This year, I want all of them. It'll make summoning easier, since I'll just spend the 20 each time, but unfortunately it also means I won't get them all.

As for which one I'm going to make sure I get; it's still Veronica. Even though I already have three horse healers, I want Veronica as a hero.

I’m debating between just choosing to get Veronica for free to avoid pulling in colorless hell completely, or pulling full circles until I’m out of orbs to see who I don’t get.

This was my first full circle!
 
Yeah last time I made the mistake of picking Brave Lyn at the start of the event.  It was formatted in a way where I didn't realize I could have waited until the very end.  So of course I pull a second Lyn and then miss out on two of the heroes.  Definitely wait until the end. 

These heroes will return often on other banners though, so it's not much of a worry.  They're in the main pool now after this.  I'll probably spend my free summons on Hector, but I'm hoping to get either Hector or Veronica with free orbs.  Hector's kit is the best since he has Bold Fighter.

Spent 35 orbs and got a Celica on my second round.  Spent another 100 orbs and got zilch.  I'm back to zero orbs again. 

I've pulled exactly three 5* Heroes since the June Legendary banner so the game has been pretty boring lately. 

 
No idea why the game gives me every sword unit known to god, and little else. lol

Seriously I have every single sword except Mia, Lene, Elencia, and flying Olivia I think.  Most of them have attack or speed boons too.

Congrats! Her skill kit looks pretty awesome right out of the box. I chose her as my free unit because I hate pulling colorless.

I was having problems with the last Chain Challenge stage (Loki+2 Dancers followed by broken armors :roll:), then I put Genny+PAzura on my second team.

If you're having trouble with the armor twins, dazzling gravity and a dancer make them easy to kite around. Then you can take out everything else and save them for last/grind them down.
 
I was at 4.75% and Brave Ephraim broke my pity yay.  Not a bad bane either, which is all you can ask. 

He's a pretty good unit!

I think IS did a great job with these forging bond accessories this time around. The helmets look a little big on the equip screen, but on the map they look right. I have the blue one on Brave Lyn and the Red one on Xander (I prefer brainless mode on FB), and they both look good.
 
I chose Hector as my free unit cause dammit I still want Hardin for Armor team but Hector will work.

I pulled 40 orbs and got 3 5* in one summon.

Myrhh, Ryoma and Delthea. This will be my 3 or 4 Ryoma and didnt have the others.

Myrrh is perfect for the final member of my dragon team.

 
I always thought Hardin was awesome.  Really wanted to pull him but never got one.  Now it's as if Brave Hector has completely usurped him. 

 
I watched the Legendary video and then spent my only 20 orbs on another Brave round.  Marth looks good, but this is easily the worst Leg banner yet.

I agree 💯 %. Marth looks good but the last thing I need is another sword unit. The only units on there I want are Hector for DC and F Grima for merges. The rest is really weak.
 
Do you ever get the feeling, and I don't know what it is exactly, that this Princess Veronica might not be the same as the other Veronica?

 
Not a chance. I'll believe it when I see them both in the same place.

I'm hoping that this isn't IS driving home that there will be no regular versions of the story villains in the future. After all, changing sides in a battle has been a longtime staple of FE. Either way, hopefully Laegwarmer makes the cutoff for CYL3.
 
My constant war against barracks space will finally reach its merciful conclusion with the next update. I think Combat manuals might be my favorite change since hats.
 
Aren't you suppose to get two orbs a day on the first map cleared on forging bond? I maxed all my character yesterday and now today, nothing.
 
The orbs are only for the first seven days.

Edit: Finally got to 2500 points with Veronica today. My points were all evenly (and heavily) distributed among the other three. I had something around 32-3300 for each of them and just over 2000 points for Veronica.

Time for my regular "complain about Grand Conquest" post. So today I woke up in the middle of round 2, only to find 12 spaces had been won by knockout. In the second round, 12 knockouts. There was no place to attack, and my team could get no more than 3 spaces which is a guaranteed 0 points.

They're making it hard to even care about the 4-5 orbs I get for signing up and doing a handful of fights.
 
I have spent 200+ f2p orbs and have pulled Celica and Ephraim.  Hector is going to be my free pull unless I can pull one of the final two. 

They are all pretty awesome units.  It's nice when we have a banner like this only every couple of months.

I chose Veronica as my free unit because I knew I wanted her and didn’t want to pull on colorless. I’ve pulled 2 B!Hectors so far (one went to H!Jakob for BF)

I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it to keep pulling for Celica or Ephraim. I have a +9 Chrom as my main sword and got lucky to get a L!Marth on about 30 orbs. And I’m not sure how much I’d use Ephraim since L!Hector is so good.

I kinda want to start saving for the next Halloween units. I’d love to add some merges to my H!Jakob.
 
I am not a fan of these stupid VGs. I always seem to pick the team that leads the entire time, making it impossible to get the bonuses, then losing at the end anyway.
 
Yeah, I've been on team Veronica and I've only used one flag each time since she's always ahead. But, I HAD to support Veronica anyway.

So, I was wondering what you guys thought of my plans for my og Celica. Everyone seems to be hurrying to go with Fury/Brazen + Desperation, but I'm thinking about something a bit more enemy phase oriented. Something like double DD + Vantage. Maybe even Watersweep so she doesn't get nailed by vantage on the following turn.

When attacked, she'd have the following stats:
HP: 40 Atk: 48/55 Spd: 42/49 Def/Res: 34

Played around with Celica's refine a bit. The Desperation nuke builds are likely the best way to go, but I think she's still pretty serviceable mixed phase.

I think vantage is out though, because she doesn't do significant enough damage with the first hit to ko. I switched back to renewal 3, and it worked better. It did occasionally take her out of brazen range, but if you want her in a lot of combat the healing helped more than the smaller damage hurt.
 
I'm using basically the same build as before the weapon refine.

DD3 seal

If you're just wanting to bait mages, Arvis and Juilius are better, but she does better against physical and adaptive damage
 
Yes I love my Arvis. He hits all 4 stats and is my dream hero.

Tier 18 this arena season is simply awful. I'm trying to do it with my usual Winter Chrom, Valentine Lyn, BK+3, and (Valter) and I can't even get the free orb.

My favorite so far was running into Dancer Micaiah and Legendary Lucina on the two boat map. I don't think there was any place I could put Valter that wasn't attack box, dance, move, swap, dead.

The biggest problem with arena is the matchmaking;  that armors and high rated teams don't have to face any of the tough threats like dancers and legendary lucina, armorslayer units, etc.  Everybody should have to face everything.  Then P2W armors wouldn't take up all of tier 20+. 

It is definitely annoying that it's hard to even get to tier 19 now, and only due to BST matching. 

But I'm also frustrated that there aren't many 3-4* high-availability units that I want to merge. 

If I'm going to spend 200,000 feathers on a unit then it has to be something that I use ALL THE TIME for arena.  Although they are very strong units that I've been tempted to make, making a Beruka or a Camilla +10 seems dumb  when there other units like Myrrh that you want on your team all the time.

I've been busy lately and haven't had much of a chance to play Forging Bonds. Though I think the red glasses look good on pretty much anyone, I believe I'll give them to Female Morgan.

I hope everyone has good luck on the Muspell banner. Laefolk and Helbindis for all.
 
Red glasses are awesome.  I'm skipping Muspell banner though.  Hoping for cool Legendary units in a week.  Haven't had much luck lately. 

Swift Sparrow banner might be worth pulling on, too.  Especially if they have all four orb colors covered.

 
Additional new sword units completely bore me.   Roughly 50% of my best units are red, and mostly swords.  I just can't bring myself to care about them, even if they are waifus.

This exactly. I’m skipping the Muspell banner as well. I do want Helbindi, but I’d rather wait and see what the Legendary banner has to offer. I’m kinda hoping it’s underwhelming though so i can save for the Haloween banner.
