I might be wrong, but I think it's 5 for the first time to kick it off and 1 each Wednesday after that.
still a potential free game for people who update their wishlist. :)
Did that go out live? Was 'pussy' bleeped?
Nah he didn't say it like that. That is just my interpretation of what he was trying to say.

His actual quote was: "I thought I could get away with whatever I wanted to. I felt that I had worked hard my entire life and deserved to enjoy all the temptations around me. I felt I was entitled, thanks to money and fame. I didn't have to go far to find them."

~~~
With Hunter S Thompson as my flight companion and the potential of wild, crazy, and weird drunkenness ahead. I bid you all adieu.
The game is on ABC Sunday at 1PM EST so if you see a guy in a blue dress shirt and slacks sitting in section 119 row G sporting a Joe Dirt beard and pounding free booze. That is me.
Am I the only one who enjoyed watching Lebron almost cry after Carmelo hit the game-winner over him last night?
I didn't see it, but I probably would have enjoyed that.
I thought Charlie and The Chocolate Factory was pretty solid...looking forward to Alice myself as well.
I really wish I hadn't read that. Have you seen the WW with Gene Wilder(?), it make's the Burton one look like trash.
If you haven't seen the original i could understand that, otherwise it's inexcusable.
Yeah, I've seen it. I really don't know which one I'd like best, they're both pretty damn good IMO. Burton's just has a totally different style to it. The music of WW is way way better though.
It does seem that the shittier towns have the worst sports teams. The Grizzlies fucking suck.
The Grizzles don't suck. Go look at the teams they have beaten this year and their record since they got rid of AI. Team is poised to be a tough out in the first round.
Alright, maybe i should have said "sucked. " As for anyone here though, no one gives a damn about them. People can't shut up about the Titans during football season, no one acts like the Grizzlies even exist.
Wow...this is awesome:
That wasn't Mila Kunis doing that voice? I saw that episode and it sounded exactly like Mila Kunis with a lisp. Also, lollercoasters at the picture of the girl in the before and after picture at the bottom right corner of that page. It looks like whoever made it didn't correct the ratio of the girl's head to her body. Her head is almost as large as her torso. :lol:
Not for me, it doesn't. I hate the original movie, almost solely because of Gene Wilder. I much preferred Burton's take.
That said, your statement on Burton's stuff is relatively accurate. I'm not getting a good feeling about AiW... and everytime I think of Burton outside of claymation type stuff (or CatCF), I think of Batman Returns with Danny Devito and Christopher Walken. That was a terrible film. (Though not the worst live action Batman film -- Schumaker took care of that with B&R...)
Gene Wilder is one of the funniest actors ever. The original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a fucking classic and that Burton movie was a travesty.
Fixed.
Dammit i always get the titles mixed up, don't know why they changed it for the original.
Probably to differentiate both films. I don't see it as a straight up remake, more like a reinterpretation.
Actually i meant they way they changed the title for the original one from the book.
Really? I loved Wilder's shift back and forth the from the sometimes pedantic/condescending/comedic character to the maniacal/sinister/ almost bi-polar Wonka. It seemed very consistent with the typical tone of "Dahl." Depp's stunted child take was brutal to watch and I think Elfman phoned it in. It was visually stunning comparatively but (to me) that is more of a function of the tools available today.
The new version of Mike TV was great. However, the rest of the kids pale by comparison.
I just hope it's not like the Planet of the Apes remake; Which despite looking beautiful was just bad on an epic scale.
Of course the Rotten Tomatoes crowd and IMDB reviewers will rate it highly, regardless- as per most Burton titles- since nearly every web review of his work products seem like acts of mutual fellation there.
Sure is. I mean, look at Blazing Saddles. Working with Mel Brooks? How can I lose?!
Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein.:cool:
Can you claim the cost of school books on your taxes? I can't do tuition i think since financial aid pays all of that, but i paid for my books myself.
When I was doing my sisters taxes, it did ask me about how much you paid for books, as well as tuition....and it said to put the tuition without any loans, but it didn't indicate anything about financial aid.
you go.
It looks like his face is made of Play-doh.
Shutter Island is getting kinda mixed reviews. Don't care, Scorcese rules.
Didn't Vincent Gallo put a cancerous curse on Roger Ebert? Weird.
Sure did. Also talked Chloe Sevigny into giving him a real blowjob on film.
I thought it looked more like an ancient vagina.
ROFL. On the news hour while they were doing their pundits roundtable with shield and brooks, a huge nasal drip came spouting out of Jim Leherer's nose! SO he's tryiong to hide it, and they go to Shields. And you cn nsee Brook's hands kinda off screen as he raises them to his face tio show the host where the snot is all over his chin and lips.
Then Shields sneaks in a joke about smuckers jams.
