We're not getting shit. That's ashame that the rep didn't even know the date. I can understand if only I was having this problem but a lot of us are, after this issue I will be hesitant with my orders through newegg from here on out. (end rant)
 
Wow, I totally thought that the DLC voucher was good THROUGH 10/31/11. I don't particularly care about the actual DLC itself, but it pisses me off on principle.

I chatted with them yesterday about my claim, they said they were still working on it. Then this morning, I saw it was resolved
 
All this claim nonsense really shows you how far apart newegg and amazon are in terms of quality of customer service
 
It might depend on who you chatted with, and who took your claim. The person I spoke to just sent me a follow-up email checking to see if I received it.
 
my 2nd replacement came in today and it was flawless. i cant believe most of you still havent gotten your originally order from like 3 weeks ago! ive gotten that plus 2 replacements since then!

same thing here. They really need to get their stuff together with this. It is nuts how some people have received multiple replacements, but some of us can't even get 1
 
Try contacting them about your claim, that is what I did and shortly after the chat my claim was resolved. Now I am waiting for my new item to ship.
 
Cant believe this thread is still going...

I received my replacement (from the claim) today. Came in a box in good condition. No bangs or bruises.

I've done so twice this week, on Monday the guy said he'd follow up with me the next day but all I got was an email saying he was informed it could take 5-7 business days (it had been 4? business days at that point)

so I contacted again today via chat and was told to contact them back Friday if I still hadn't heard anything

:bomb: I just want my $20 back

they said the claim process can take 7-10 business days. assuming business days are m-f, it could take two weeks for them to process your claim.
i would contact them on the 11th business day and follow up
 
I also have had this problem and filed a claim over a week ago. I got so tired of waiting and called again today. I let newegg know how frustrated I was, so they finally offered me a refund. Don't give up, it's your money after all. (Sorry if this post sounded off, I'm typing on my iPad between meetings)
 
Yeah, well that was my first and last time dealing with NewEgg. After waiting to hear back from them for over a week I decided to call. They were no further in the resolution then they were the last time I talked to them. I've been boycotting a lot of stores lately, just bad luck I guess, but pretty soon I will have no where else to shop. What happened to the days of good customer service. It just seems like businesses don't really give a shit anymore.
 
I've had to issues ordering online in the past couple of weeks. Here is how my phone conversations went with each order.
Newegg CS: "I will file a claim for your order you placed." 2 weeks later still no response.
Amazon CS: "I am sorry to hear about your issue. I will issue an immediate refund and give you a $5 credit to your account."

Newegg CS blows.
 
Just keep after the chat reps. They can create orders.

I first filed the claim on 10/27 and they told me I'd have an answer by 11/3. On 11/3 I emailed again and they told me by today 11/7. Today they told me 11/10 before I'd get an answer.

I let them know that it was unacceptable, and asked for the email of their ceo. (which they didn't have). I asked for a phone number to contact their claims department. (which they didn't have). I asked how I can get this solved today. (they told me 11/10). I asked them how they were going to keep me as a customer. (they told me they had to wait for a response from their claims department) I told them again that this needs to be solved today and she finally said
5:08:34 PM : Helena: Due to the inconvenience, we will issue you a free order directly. Can you please verify your current shipping address?

The order is now showing up for Free with Next day shipping.
 
If I didn't catch this thread earlier, I would've forgotten I even have a replacement claim on this thing. This botch single-handedly made me cancel all my existing pre-orders and makes me question future orders. I mean seriously were did all these missing claims/orders wind up? I FINALLY received my order today (although with a mark/scratch on the top of packaging) after almost a month after original order.
 
so frustrating.
ordered on 10/14.
contacted them on 10/28 - they filed a claim and told me could take 7-10 biz day
i contacted them today, 11/11 and they told me the claim was voided on 11/2
and are no offering me a replacement or a refund.

this pisses me off because it's been 9 days since they "voided" my claim but nobody has contacted me regarding this. And dont try to call it a replacement, because you cant replace what you havent sent me yet.

$20 appeared back in my paypal today and a new copy showed up on my porch this morning

thats a pretty sweet deal.
im trying to tell myself not to get too worked up because i probably wouldnt have played it yet anyway. and while it would've been nice for them to offer me some sort of credit, they didn't, and i didnt ask.

my hope is that a) it finally arrives and b) when it does, it's not messed up like some of the other CAG's have had happen to them
 
I got my replacement yesterday. It was in perfect shape. It took a while but I've never had a problem with newegg before and I've bought quite a few items from them. They took care of the issue. So ill give them another shot.

Same here. I got a refund and they sent me a replacement via UPS overnight. I hope all of you get this resolved soon.
 
Oddly enough, after 2 emails (unanswered) and 4 phone calls, I got my money back. When I got a "how did we do?" email, I blasted them. They responded saying "the game did ship and it's on your door, please keep it and enjoy. Big hugs!" So, I got the game for free. But still, that whole debacle sucked.

So, the DLC codes on xbox aren't working????

Mine worked on xbox on 10/31 (when I say 'worked', I mean I was able to download it). I saw nothing about an expiration date though.

My Modern Warfare 3 still hasn't shipped out. Luckily I had a backup pre-order from a B&M store so I've been enjoying it all week but otherwise I would have been out in the cold. I finally e-mailed them to ask what's up and they said that they don't know what's going on with the package and it will take 3-5 days to investigate it (shouldn't be too hard to realize they never shipped it :roll:). I'll just be canceling it from them. It was a nice price at $48.99 but by the time it arrives it'll probably be on sale for that price anyway (Amazon practically is selling it at that price now).

pretty lucky. i got a web prompt and gave feedback each time explaining that it was upsetting to be told to travel back in time and then that my claim was cancelled and nobody contacted me to tell me.

be nice if they gave me a refund. be even nice if they would send my the item i paid for 30 days ago
