Free $10 PSN card @ Langers Juice w/4 proofs of purchase

Got mine yesterday. Took about two months here as well. My one lone card. Which I spent about $10 in juice to get.
for those of you saying you only received half...are you considering the ones that you double dipped by filling out the forms with the receipt and upcs separately?
I'll be the bad guy and say it. A lot of people already double dipped and it did not say in the fine print that receipts and upcs had to be included.

I'm happy that I got the 2 out of 4 I mailed in and if I don't get the other 2 that's fine. I also understand that Langers can refuse to mail and that they could have "disappeared" in the mail.

It just seems uncool that some of us double dipped more than my one time and Langers didn't change the fine print when the form was up.

Langers has never had problems with "double dipping" and they definitely didn't during this promotion. I can't say exactly what is causing some people to not get their cards, but I really doubt that has anything to do with it.

Towards the end of of the promo I had sent in 16upcs. I had already received 8 cards from previous upc's so when it didn't seem like these were coming I wasnt really bothered. But on Friday I got one $10 card (figured that was all they had left to give to everyone so thought it was real cool of them) but today I got the other 3 $10 cards which is really fuckin cool of them. We already drank Langer's in my home but this ensured that wont change regardless of any future promos. Great job Langers

Love Langers! Got all my cards I sent out. Does anyone know if these codes expire? Are you guys just putting all your codes in and have a huge credit on your account?

Not too bad. It probably doesn't come in any adult sizes, but I can at least snag one for my kid and maybe a couple for his cousins. Even after 15 movie tickets, I still have plenty of proofs.
if anybody still has upc codes available Langers just put up a promo for a free Hotel Transylvania t-shirt, only two proofs of purchase needed
That's actually pretty neat! If I got extra money, I'll buy 2 bottles and donate the juice to a food bank.

Hmm...if this is a random kid's size. Might still be worth it.

well they came through! couldnt be happier at the moment, got almost $200 in langers psn cards this week.

too many games as it is, i should throw them up on ebay or something.

Yeah. I wish Langers would have worded their fine print a little more carefully, and people here didnt try and take advantage of it.

I'm sure the people here hoarding and getting 16-20 cards cut out the little guy from getting their one or two. There's only a finite number to go around.

That's the way of the world, though.

Well there was a finite number but Bruce is too good to us and ordered more when the first batch ran out. That was really nice of him (or whoever was actually the boss in all this). I'm sure Sony has no problem printing out more as long as people are willing to buy them. It looks like everyone is getting theirs now though.

Also I noticed the form for PSN cards is still accessible on the Langers site. I know there was some posts a few weeks ago saying it was down but I can still pull it up even after clearing out my history. I'm not going to send for any more, but I thought that was strange. Maybe it's just my computer being weird.

It's just a poor understanding of web design on their part. They don't seem to realize that removing the links from the home page doesn't prevent people from accessing the forms. Their form for the Top Spin 4 promotion is still accessible as well and that ended over a year ago. At this point, if you sent in proofs with the form, they would probably send them back.

anyone else still waiting for their cards? it's a little disheartening to see people getting more cards after the long wait, but still having to wait some more...
haha, jokes on me. just got one code in the mail today - i was expecting at least 6. oh well, one is better than none!
email bruce and let him know.

i guess i'll wait a few more days. the first batch of upc's i sent in resulted in 2 envelopes being sent to me, so maybe a second envelope is on it's way... thanks for the advice though. has anyone had luck personally emailing him, besides that one previous poster? he sounds like an upstanding fellow who'd be willing to help me out.
I received all 26 of mine, and after trading some for XBL points, giving some away, and downloading some stuff, I still have 8 left. :)
wanna sell/trade some?
Ouch, what a way to spend a PSN card...
I like the old Tony Hawk games...and enjoying the remake. Each their own.

My comment wasn't a judgment of your tastes or anything; I just have some problems with the game. I loved the first two Tony Hawk games, but I hate the remake. They totally screwed up the gameplay mechanics and it doesn't feel the same way at all. I thought it was just because I hadn't played in so long, but I tried out the original PS1 game and got back into it right away. It had its problems as well, but I felt it was so much more enjoyable. But hey, if you're enjoying the remake, then more power to you.

Seeing as how I am the biggest Pro Skater fan you'll ever meet (er, online meet), I'll toss this link in. It's my own personal thoughts on THPS HD and it's massively long, so I won't copy and paste it into this thread.

On a side note, somewhat related to this thread, I finally got around to renting the movie Pirates (you know, the characters that were attached to the PSN promotion page that you printed out), and it was pretty good. Though it did follow the standard tropes of cartoon comedy/adventure, it had a lot of great laughs, slapstick adventure and it's a good time for kids and adults who enjoy lighthearted movies. :bouncy:

If you're looking for anything deep or meaningful, then obviously look elsewhere.

After playing a while your review is spot on. I think it had been so long (I frankly gave up on the series few years ago) just happy to something resembling old THPS games. I'll take it, but as you've said, some tweaks could improve the experience a great deal.
your review is spot on.
Agreed. And I'm not a skating fan. I used to skate as a kid, but I was never into the scene and my enjoyment of the gaming genre is basically limited to the first two THPS and Street Sk8er (not sure if I'd count TrickStyle). But nonetheless, I was very disappointed with the treatment of the remake. They took a very fun game and turned into something that I feel is nearly unplayable. The only consolation is that I didn't have to pay for my copy.

Well, after reading that someone here has received 26 or so cards overall, I sent Bruce an email last night asking if I had any chance of getting my remaining 5. Guess we'll see what happens.

I sent off for four more cards.
I am still waiting on 1 card. Fingers crossed.
Nice currently played games man. Diablo 3 and Vita bro you sir have class.

Nope, nothing here. I haven't even received all of my movie tickets yet and the damn promotion expired today. Even worse, the movie stopped playing in theaters almost two weeks ago, before I had a chance to use the tickets already in my possession. I'm never participating in one of their movie promotions again; I always run into problems.

I haven't been on CAG since 11-2, but I anted to add that I got an email from langers asking what size shirts I would like. Just a FYI for everyone.

I got mine about two weeks ago, I believe. It's a little too big for my kid, but he still really likes it. Not too bad for a free shirt. And Langers ended up sending me some free movie passes (good for any movie) to make up for complications I had with the ParaNorman tickets. Now I'm just waiting for the Rise of the Guardian books to get here.
