pre-orderwaiting for item.. ordered on Oct. 23rd to give you guys waiting in line an idea.. I'm sure I'm way behind many others.. when was hte first day? I saw Rig did it 5 min after it was posted and his isn't even shipped yet lol.

Just checked and mine says "shipping soon" too! Hopefully 'soon' means this week like you said. They probably received 1000 angry emails from people asking about it prompting them to do something about the fact that it hasn't shipped yet.

Glad this updated becasue I was at Target today at lunch and they had about 100 copies there and I got tempted again!

edit: FYI, I ordered Oct 14th.

when did you guys that got shipping soon status order?

I ordered oct 22 and mines still on preorder

We assume it will be the Wireless, as that's what's listed at most of the sellers Trainn goes through. The only online retailer I've seen the wired bundle at is Wal-Mart.
 
my GHIII says preorder, but i ordered on Oct. 24th, so i'm guessing it'll be at least a week til they send it out...

Halo 3 CE is on the way tho!!!!!!!
 
I ordered on 10/13 and my status has also been changed to shipping soon.I find it odd though that my naruto and simpsons are still at pre-order waiting for item when a few ppl have said theres has shipped...its all good though,free is free.

I did a credit request the first day it was available. The same day I recieved my credit, yet the request is still "received". So I'm not sure if the credit request was just really quick, or if it takes about a week for GF. Either way, it does work.

In the request, I took my mail (from Yahoo! Mail), showed full headers, and copied/pasted it into the box they wanted it in.

I got Halo and it's sat in my drawer for weeks. The single player is awful, and the multiplayer is only fun to me in groups.




Speaking of GHIII, I ordered on the thirteenth right after they added the new games and am now at shipping soon.

I'd take a great rpg over any fps,even halo 3...but to each his own I suppose.
 
Woo Just placed an order for COD4

Although the Reunion membership price is a pain, I know i'll get a refund, but should i wait till the Pending charge is done on my card or could i call any time? i waited more than two weeks to cancel on my first orders but that 36 dollar price is more than its worth.
 
so how long should it be till they get my support ticket that i filed yesterday for gamefly still not reciving credit after filing a MCR and waiting 10 days
 
u really think that are gonna post rock band with a retail value that high? If they did they'd at least most likely make it 3 refs or something.

I really do enjoy getting e-mails from them, they are usually very personal and helpful...even though it takes a long time to receive a reply. Glad everything worked out with the W9!

The latest date I've seen someone post as having the shipping soon status is october 18th

working 3rd shift sucks sometimes, i get home too early to call some of these places because they have weird hours.
 
I submitted a ticket on Monday or Tuesday when I was concerned about the shortages. Here is my response, as of 10/31, 10:00 Trainn time (Whatever that is):

Yay! Sure hope the Shipping Soon orders really do make it out today. They'll at least make it next week, if not tomorrow if they actually already ordered, and opted for overnight shipping.

EDIT: Looks like others have also gotten this message--their email/ticket person must have been online last night :p

And it looks like that was the cutoff date, becuase I ordered 10/19 and am still on pre order status.

My past two orders from the site have been shipped either 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air so lets hope they pony up for the quick shipping due to the fact that they didn't ship out on release day.

As for the people that received the message that GHIII would be shipping out in the next 24 hours, did you get this email unsolicited from Trainn or was it in response to an email you sent them about the shipping status of GHIII?

Hey, small consolation to most of us who are waiting on Guitar Hero III, but you can download the demo on Xbox Live right now. I think there's five songs to mess around with. I didn't try it, but I did DL it last night.

And, still waiting. :(
