Well, looks like I encountered another problem.

About 3 weeks ago, I did At Home Rewards and Simply You. Both credited fine and I waited 5 days and cancelled both and Savings Club on the same day. So, tonight, I went in and did Privacy Matters (never did the offer before) with a legit Visa Credit Card and when i submitted the trial, it seemed like it took forever, came back and said I was ineligible for the offer. I wonder if this is tied to the other 2 trials above I signed up to.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. I tried a quick search in the forum for Privacy matters but could not find the answer.

I did exactly those things, in that order, first At home and SImply, cancelled after 2 days.. including savings club, and then on Privacy Matters later in the week was all good.. so not sure what the problem is ?

Just tried it again (Privacy Matters) with a different card (neither was a gift card) and got the same thing. fuck. I bet that's what it is, they probably blocked me out because of the cancellations of Simply You, Savings Club, and At Home Rewards (remember, it has been 3 weeks since I cancelled them). Oh well, time to find another offer and will go back and cancel these next week just to make sure.
 
well i just placed another order for GHIII. So i'll keep the second guitar adn sell the game, picking up assassin creed or something...

this site is awesome

I hope the game doesnt take tooooo long to ship.

It takes less than 2 mins to sign up and once you do a phone verification you get $10 and a card mail to you. NO CATCH AT ALL! This is a great idea to get a prepaid card so you wont have to deal with your other one, also it's good for those offers such as Margin, and eauction since they require a different card anyways.

Any thanks would be appreciated by way of any all-around PM'd advice, suggestions, etc. etc. or whatev. Possibly signing up under me for the iPod touch site if you haven't already done so, because while I love games, I think I love shiny gadgets far more.


EDIT: Regarding people signing up under you. They do an offer and they're green, you get credit. If anyone signs up under them, does it matter with this site. I know with some it does, but I wasn't certain.

As long as I get it by Thursday or so, I'm happy. The earlier the better, but it'll give me time to beat BioShock on the GameFly rental, and do a college project, if it's not on time...so it's probably realistically better if it's late >.>
 
well my first GHIII is still in preorder, ordered the 24th, anyone get shipped status after the 24th???

My second GHIII will be a while, i just ordered it yesterday
 
just ordered GH3 not that I really want it (GH2 kicked my butt).. just don't have any other games I want this holiday season.. except for Naruto but after I beat and Sell the Simpsons game on ebay I'll get Naruto. God I love this site.. haven't paid full price for a game since Gears of War!!

I'm an Oct. 23rd order and I'm at pre-order.. last I heard was 22nd... hope I get update status this upcoming week.
 
like wise.....i have one pre order and the other has been processing for over a week, but im in no hurry because my xbox died a few days ago. Life sucks without Guitar Hero I was getting so addicted to that game.

there are easily 4 offers that are 1 buck each. if you can't afford that, than you got bigger problems than trying to get a "free" game.

just thought id comment about my gh2 amazon return situation...since amazon wouldnt do anything i contacted trainn and they were very helpful and refunded my credits to me so i can order another game. it may not be the gh2 amazon credit i hoped for, but atleast i can still get another game.

Stamps may not be free depending on the person. It is essentially, but they may put an authorization charge on your card (15.some odd cents) you get it back in a few days but if you don't have that on your card, it'll get declined.

I didn't see anything mentioned in the OP, and clearly, I didn't read three posts above me, because I barely read any of the posts in this thread before trying to get in a quick post. Most of it is all "what's an easy offer?" or "anyone get shipping confirmation on _____?" Sorry I haven't been reading up.

My prior post is deleted, but I suggest that a moderator updates the OP or title with something about this rule, if it's that important.

I'm trying not to be mean lol dont take this personally.

Just a hint, theres a link in the thread near the top of the screen that says "search this thread" I suggest you use it, its really useful. I'm not being sarcastic either, it IS useful. You'll have your answer in 10 seconds. When I want to fidn something (i.e. Stamps) I just type that word, and every post mentioning it comes up and its pretty easy to find the info you need. If I want to know about "Great Fun" I'll type that, if I have shipping concers, I'll type shipping. If my question isnt answered, Ill post.

And for the fifth time I've written in this thread:

MANY people have had trouble with Stamps not crediting immediately. Myself included. I will bet you will be filing an MCR, because I've noticed that people that dont have it credit right away, end up having to do so.

as for my experience:

Signed up for it: Oct 12
Filed MCR: Oct 19
Filed support ticket/sent email asking about MCR status: Oct 29
Received email back saying info sent to Stamps: Oct 31
Received credit: Nov 1

I suggest filing an MCR as soon as you can (one week from signup) if it doesnt credit. If after ten days its not gone through, set up a support ticket and/or email them (Trainn) directly.

Stamps is probably the biggest crapshoot on the site. Some people get credited immediately and don't get charged. Other people get an auth fee placed on their card (15.something), it doesnt credit and they have to wait. That fee is given back in a couple of days though, so it is free. Nobody's situation is very unique with these offers, if you're having a problem 9/10 times someone else has had or is having the same one.
 
Hmm, since I need a Wii by Christmas and there is no way for me to get any of these sites working, I might use 2 of my credits to buy two GH3's though. Then resell them or return them.

Yea, I have to say I will be disappointed if GHIII doesn't arrive today, but I am not really expecting it. Most of my games have arrived 3-4 business days after I received the shipping confirmation. The odd thing is that both of my last two games were sent out using expedited (1 or 2 day) shipping, but didn't arrive 1-2 days after I received the email. Looks like the orders took a couple days to process and get shipped, hence 3-4 days total. Oh well, heres hoping that it shows up today! (If not, possibly we can get the November update so I can use my current credit!) :D
