Hi,

I'm trying this for the first time, and I went for the stamps.com offer. It says you need to print the stamps to redeem your credits, which I wanted to do for the 5 dollars they gave me. but now it says it's a 10$ minimum. Is this always the case? in order to complete this offer do I need to pay the minimum of 5 extra dollars out of my pocket?

Thanks guys.

No,
You just download and install the software if you want to use the free $5. Where are you seeing $10 minimum? Also as a heads up stamps.com is a great free offer, just don't expect to see it completed until 20+ days.

It says I have to print stamps to complete the offer...so i guessed that i'd print the 5 dollars they gave me instead of using my own money as Im a little skeptical about this (and paranoid). I click the bottom of the application that has the $5.00 link, and im brought to a page to print. when i enter in "other" the amount of 5$, they say 10$ minimum...

help :(
Heads up: If you had a choice between COD4 and Assasin's Creed which would you choose? Both are highly anticipated and both looks promising.
Well I havnt played AC, but I can tell you cod4 is an awesome game. The single player is way better than cod3 and then online multiplayer is funner as well. If I had to pick one or the other I'd definitely go with cod4. That being said if you are not into online multiplayer fps you are probably better off getting AC since the single player campaign for cod4 is fairly short.

I'm def into online FPS games, but I suck at it....the reason why I asked is because I love single player campaign but now that you said it was short i might just get AC 1st.
well i still havent gotten a confirmation email from increase my margin how the hell am i gonna fill out a MCR without one??:cold:
Call up Pacific Web Works and ask for one.

I completed the stamp.com offer (installed and printed my postage). How long until I get credits for it? It said "instantly" on the yourfree360games.com site.

instantly means 21+ days for stamps.com you must file for a missing credit request after 7 days. I just got my stamps to credit from october 16th.

Dr. Seuss Book Club

According to the offer you have to send back the Cat In The Hat book, at their expense, and you'll get a full refund.

I got my package in the mail today, It took about 2 weeks, and I decided to just go ahead and call and cancel. It was easy, didn't have to explain anything, but the said that since I paid for the Cat In The Hat book that I can keep it. I asked about the refund, and she didn't know what I was talking about, so I had to pull it up on the site and read it off to her word for word. She put me on hold and came back a minute later and said that the refund has been processed and sent back to my card and that I need to donate the Cat In The Hat book to a local library or school.

Simple enough, it's not back on my card yet, but I'm sure that it takes some time or something.

In the latest EGM they've got a lot of reservations about Assassin's Creed and they played a near final copy. I don't think the game is going to live up to the hype. Anyone interested in it may want to pass on it and wait until it hits budget price or get it used. I think it'll happen faster than you think.

In other news, still waiting for my GHIII bundle to ship. I hope I get one of the Red Octane bundles, that'd make my wait worth it.

Don't do this to me. :(

What kind of reservations did they have about it? Anything you remember particularly?

A lot of people have problems with this one, and I am not sure why.

I've done it, and watched two other friends sign up for it, and all of us were credited within five minutes.

Are you guys installing and signing in as soon as you sign up for the trial?

And I have heard clearing your cookies before starting helps, though the three of us never did that.

If it hasn't credited by now, expect to fill out an MCR.

Well its down to Assasins Creed or Mass Effect for my next game, but I think I will probably just wait until the November update gets posted before ordering.

I want to get Ac, but looking at the videos the combat system looks subpar.

if you are surrounded by a group of people, only one attacks you. Wtf is that?

it looks awesome though
Faith restored, thank you. :D
their reservations where more of the 'this is going to take some getting used to' nature than the 'we don't like this game' type. as long as it's mildly thief-esque i'm going to be a happy man. i miss those games.

Yeah, I'm impatiently waiting for the November update to grab AC. I really want CoD4 too, but I'll probably end up picking that up for my PC. I have more friends that will play that on PC than on 360. I haven't picked it up for PC yet because I'm bogged down with a bunch of stuff in RL atm and I can't be distracted by it. ;oP

On the brightside, my GH3 finally changed back to Shipping Soon and will hopefully go out this week and 1 of the 2 MCRs that I've been waiting on finally credited. I've been waiting on my MCRs before doing any more offers. So, 1 more MCR to credit and I can earn some more credits.

I signed up for AtHome rewards, I canceled yoursavingsclub right away as I was not interested into what so ever. However, I realize I don't want AtHome, but when I try to search for membership # since of course I never received any confirmation e-mail even after 6 days. It keeps saying they don't have my e-mail address on record and their phone help is not open.

Has anyone else ran into this issue??

You won't need a membership number when you call. If you signed up, they have your name/address, etc.

Just call when they are open.

Yea I am just pissed because I created the account on Sunday, and their phone service won't be opened till Monday. So I may get screwed by going over 7 days. I just find it weird that yoursavingclub was able to recongize my e-mail address and I could cancel online, but at home rewards acts as if I am not a member.

Well, you could try firing off an email with your name and address information, and let them know you wish to cancel.

Of course, I don't know if that will work, but it's worth it...especially if you are going to get billed.

Do you have their address? I never received an e-mail from at home. If they charge me I will just raise hell, cause I never received my membership ID and I am not able to get it on their website. Therefore, how can I even try the service when I have no access to it.

Sorry, but I don't have it. Maybe somebody in here can help you.

If not, you may be able to hunt around and find it on Google.

well, I have yet to get any credit from Stamps.com's offer. I did everything that was required as well.

People are saying it takes multiple days, but others are claiming it doesnt take that long. I dunno anymore.

I just tried the yahoo success one for $1.95 because it was supposed to credit instantly, yet it hasn't either. I'm really f'ing mad right now. I'd better receive the credit for both these things by tomorrow or I'm cancelling all this crap and not bothering :/

edit: I forgot to clear cookies before doing both offers. Is that REALLY that big of a problem? How can I correct it?

Have patience, it works, and even if you have to spend another 10 minutes bothering with it over the next week or so isn't that still worth a free game?

Ga, you're right. I got an email for the yahoo one, so one offer completed!! I'm just *really* paranoid with my credit card :/

Question: can I cancel the 14 day yahoo trial once I select my game? I'd rather not wait for them to review it as that can cut it dangerously close to ending the free trial.

Im a newbie at this lol

EDIT: I cant complete the at home rewards or the Simply You Trial. I get an error and they offer me some magazines instead. wtf could be going wrong?

gotta use a different card
gotta use a different card
Ah, it went through. Why do I have to use a different card? Is this always the case (1 card per offer)???
Is there any shipping cost and if so how much is it?
no shipping costs for the games sent if thats what ur asking.
does the same go for a big package like the GH3 bundle?
yea there's no charges involved with receiving the games. just from any offers that charge you
Ah, it went through. Why do I have to use a different card? Is this always the case (1 card per offer)???
If you had to use a different credit card with each trial, I would have 20+ credit cards to my name!

Read the OP. I posted which offers will require separate credit cards. Any offers that are from the same company *usually* require a different credit card per trial they offer.

I'm also waiting for Gamefly to credit. Already sent an MCR a couple days ago. I have a feeling this is going to take forever. What offers do you guys recommend to do?

Just got a response back why my credit request was taking so long after submitting a support ticket.

We have submitted your information to the advertiser for approval, but have yet to hear back on it as it may take 10 business days (2 full weeks) to resolve a missing credit request from the time the information is submitted.

It is nearing the latter portion of the time line though so we should be hearing back on it at any time. Once we do, we will update your account.

I know it's been longer for some people but hope this gives some insight for a few others.

I had the same issue with my Blockbuster MCR a while back. It did indeed go through (around ten days). Sounds like the bigger companies take longer to get back to Trainn.

EDIT: Earlier in the week, I asked Trainn if they would consider putting the Rock Band bundle up with a notice on the late shipping. Their reply:

Thank you for the suggestion!

Unfortunately, it will not be added during the November update, which will occur tomorrow morning, as we will be waiting until it has been released to evaluate its supply levels.

However, we are considering several options so once we have that information, we can proceed accordingly

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further questions!

So, at least we know the update is going up tomorrow morning. And I wonder what kind of "options" they are considering?
